I was recently hosed by another Water Filtration business, where their technician caused a leak during the annual filter replacement. Instead of fixing the leak, they asked me to replace the complete system and pay for it. I was looking at an additional 1k out of pocket! This obviously didn't seem right, and I therefore rejected the proposal. And, the business left me high and dry, with a leaky filtration system that I couldn't use.

With the help of Yelp and sheer luck, I was able to find Jose (Bay Area Water Conditioning). At the time, Jose didn't have availability, but still decided to help via a video call for free. During the call we formed some idea of the problem and then Jose decided to pay a visit in the future. Finally, Jose paid a visit and fixed the issue, within a couple of hours and under a couple of hundred dollars!

During the visit, Jose was very professional and polite. It was clear, he was an expert in the area, and I could trust him to identify and resolve the issue. Jose was methodical, and first did a reproduction of the leak. Then, he checked for common causes of leaks, applied fixes and checked if they worked. Finally, he identified the leak to be coming from the automatic shutoff valve. When tightening the valve didn't work, he replaced it, and that fixed the issue. The leak has completely stopped and we are finally able to use our filtration system after 2+ weeks.

Bay Area Water Conditioning will be my go to business going forward. I highly recommend them!

I have multiple systems attached to my water tanks to help purify my dirty well water. Although I'm quite confident with the overall general maintenance something just wasn't quite right and my water started getting worryingly cloudy. I was so nervous about calling around for help as many a time I've been charged excessive amounts from the big companies, for simple call outs with no good results (I hate to say it but West Sonoma County is notorious for this!). He immediately worked out what the issues were (amazingly as I have a really complex and strange setup) and within a few hours had sent me a very reasonable and comprehensive quote (with a detailed cost breakdown showing full transparency).
Upon completing the work he even managed to re-use certain bits and bobs to save me a little more money. Without even asking, he ran several tests to evaluate the pH and toxin levels in my water (at no charge as well!) On top of that Jose provides warranties on certain installs, offering free check ups if anything goes wrong. Amazing service!

His work to install our Reverse Osmosis system with remineralization was perfect. He worked with us patiently answering all of our questions and provided numerous options for us to choose from. Jose is extremely professional and courteous! I was getting quotes from multiple places. Jose was pretty aggressive and gave me a great deal upfront.

Jose is an AWESOME and VERY PROFESSIONAL and Skilled Technician. My GE water softener is installed outside, and due to rain/wind, the cover on the softener blew, and the rainwater went inside. The regeneration is scheduled every day at 2 am, and during the process, the moving parts jammed, and the machine made abnormal noises. On Yelp, I was trying to find the company that fixes the softener machines. I came across Bay Area Water Conditioning and called Jose and requested him to come down and look at the softener. He came and noticed the motor and other parts were not moving, like stalled.
He did all the tests and checked everything was working correctly. He dried the softener with a blower machine and ensured the device was appropriately dried in all areas before turning it on. His due diligence saved me 1K+ for installing a new softener.

This firm was recommended by a major parts supplier we do business with. Jose Contreras responded to my request for help immediately. We set up an appointment to work on two water related problems. Jose determined and sourced the parts we needed and agreed to pick them up as well as coming to our Napa location to install them and service our equipment. He was on time, easy to work with and resolved the two service needs in a few hours for exactly the amount he had quoted for the jobs even though he went to extra effort to aquire the parts.
