I've had the same person (Zareh?) assigned for two different home warranty issues.

The first experience was "fine"-- I believe it took him two visits to decide that the microwave was not repairable. I had to call him to remind him to update the home warranty company.

The second experience was what made me give only 3 stars. He was assigned my oven repair on 4/20/17-- came out to inspect it soon after, around 4/24, and said it was going to be complex for him to repair. Then I reached out to him repeatedly to follow up over the course of two weeks-- no reply.

After 2 weeks of no communication, the home warranty company assigned the job to someone else.

I think he should have told me what was going on, and backed out of the job sooner if he couldn't do it.

Thieves! They did not provide any repair service & still billed my home warranty company. If you unfortunately get assigned to them, request someone else! DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE CROOKS.

Requested service for my ice maker the tech come out move the ice maker around and told my wife that it was stock and to give it 24hrs for it to start working took the service fee the unit did not work I text him twice to let him know that it did not work per his request .Try calling a couple times left voicemails and no answer finally was able to get in touch with him only for him to tell me that I was calling to much and that my repair was not an emergency.
So I file a complain with my house warranty and told them that I do not want this company out at my place at all to send me a different tech company .Horrible service and customer
Care .don't waste your time with this company .

I wish I could give Zero stars here.
this vendor will just keep stalling for everything and never respond to any calls or messages.
It is over a month for a simple appliance repair and he has only wasted our time and energy.
Find anyone on the street rather than going to Baytech Appliance repair.
Save yourself and go ANYWHERE else - you can thank me for saving you from months of constant nonsense.

Had the misfortune to be assigned to Baytech through Fidelity, for my parents' refrigerator repair. Having previously engaged with Baytech a few years past when I was assigned to them from Samsung, I was pretty adamant I didn't want to work with them again. Unfortunately, when I was informed by Fidelity that they had assigned Baytech as my parents' repair vendor, they stated they couldn't change the vendor without charging us again for the claim, as they had already credited Baytech's account (odd system).

For the first several weeks after filing the claim, despite leaving numerous voice mails and emails stating various availability dates and time windows, I would consistently receive calls from the Baytech tech asking if we were available on the day of. Despite repeatedly informing the tech every time that we could not do appointments without prior notice, as we would need to make arrangements to ensure someone was home, this pattern continued to repeat itself quite a few times.

On the vendor's first visit to my parents' home, my dad asked him a few questions during the inspection to get clarification, and the guy actually told him to stop bothering him. Then after finishing, left without saying a word. We did receive an email shortly afterwards from Fidelity, informing us that parts were being ordered by the vendor, so we figured all was well, despite the vendor's complete lack of communication and rudeness.

On the vendor's second visit, my dad was once again home to meet the same tech. After tinkering with a few things, proceeding to gouge a hole into the fridge, and breaking off the handle of one of the trays, the tech stated that they needed to order more parts to finish the repairs. When my dad attempted to confront him about his work, he rudely shut him down by stating that he would only talk with someone who knew how to speak English, before proceeding to storm out.

At this point, after hearing of the experience, I was basically done with this vendor. I called Fidelity demanding a new vendor, and after getting (I kid you not) transferred to 8 different people, who kept telling me they were the wrong department for this, finally reached someone who said they would re-assign the vendor. I then get an email later in the day with an appointment with the "new" vendor, Baytech Appliance *groans*.

For the vendor's third visit, the tech walked in without saying a single word to my dad, knowing the complaint lodged against him. He did his repairs, and simply walked out of the home again. Unfortunately, one of the issues that the tech repaired, was the fridge's water dispenser. After his repair, the panel that you press down on to dispense water/ice refused to move. I called him directly about this issue, and he proceeded to yell that HE'S going to call Fidelity, and tell them to assign a vendor to us dumb enough to come out for a non-issue.

Baytech seems to get assigned for Bay Area repairs from various warranties, due to them most likely being the lowest bidder. But these guys are definitely the lowest bidder for a reason. If you EVER see yourself assigned to Baytech, RUN, don't walk, the hell away and INSIST on a new vendor!

Further update on this company they said fixed the another dishwasher issue and charged the warranty without actually performing the fix. Add unethical to the list as well. Stay away!

This shop truly deserves a 0 star.

A guy came out to fix our dryer. Told us he "fixed it, it's back to its original condition." And ran out.

      It wasn't fixed.

When we mentioned this to him immediately afterwards via text he said "because we need part."

The guy is lying through his teeth just to collect a paycheck and causing much harm to the customer.

This is the same company who lied to us about the reason our dishwasher broke. Then proceeded to say they can't fix it.

This is through our home warranty so they keep sending Baytech Appliance. Someone needs to deal with them because their lying is doing so much harm to the rest of us.

For now, do yourself a favor and don't use them.

Our Samsung clothes dryer vent was blocked because of a user error. Zareh, who we had happily used previously, squeezed us in to his schedule. He arrived on time, dismantled the dryer until he had access to the blockage, extracted it, put everything back together and tested the machine. Everything ran perfectly. Zareh knows appliances and he keeps things neat and clean with no mess and gets on and does his work. I have no idea why he has any 1 star reviews. Our experience (3 times) with Zareh has always been exemplary.

2 months of diagnosis and they cannot identify/fix the issues with the fridge. Making false promises to warranty company for replacing parts and wasted time, energy and money. Also, total lack of communication.
