I called several plumbers on a Sunday and decided to have Benjamin Franklin Plumbing Of Santa Cruz come out to diagnose our problem. We made the appointment for Tuesday. On Monday I noticed the water was flowing out of the unit a lot worse than the day before. I called Diego of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing at 2 pm and asked him if he could please stop by that day. He was in Santa Cruz, but he could probably tell I needed him to come to my house that day, and at 5:30 pm he was at my door. He diagnosed the problem and had a resolution to our problem within 1 1/2 hours.
Diego did an excellent job and explained to us beforehand what he was going to do. He was also very polite. I will definitely call Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Santa Cruz for future plumbing needs.

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing responded promptly, requested a pic of the defective shower faucet and water turn off faucet, priced the tasks fairly and arrived timely with the necessary parts. We obtained a quote elsewhere previously which outrageously priced this simple repair as ten times more expensive than Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, and told us it could not be repaired, instead a major replacement. We are so glad to have found Benjamin Franklin Plumbing.

The tech arrived on time as scheduled, and we had a new water heater installed and running in about 3 hours (including the draining of the old heater). They hauled the old heater and parts away, and left the area clean after their work--all for a reasonable price compared with other plumbing companies in our area that I had called. We would definitely hire them again.
