Big O Tires

Had the misfortune of needing to replace a tire. ..unexpectedly. The tires for my car have to be ordered, so guaranteed 2day process. All that is fine...as expected. So another tire shop puts on my hideous bulky spare tire..(manufacturer puts large metal thing instead of rim..AUGHHH..takes sensor off)
Now I must drive downtown to get correct tire ordered. The ordering goes well and I'm told about ins on replacement tires as I have run-flats and thus need tires frequently. They have a tire @ off-site location...it will be in shop next morning..around 10a. All good...

So...tire comes in as expected, but shop compressor down. So, when I get the call that they can replace tire now...it's around 4p. They were great about getting tire in & out...like less than 10 min.

Only 2 things .. took then from 5 to 4 star.
1] when tire replaced, I mentioned I thought was going to get call around 10:30-11a. ...the call came around 4p.
They share about compressor problem. Thus..a day behind.
I was fine..nothing pressing...but for most people that info should have been shared day before..when I came in and placed order. Not having a working compressor is a big deal. No tires can be done until compressor fixed.
2. Was told sensors were reset when tire replaced...but, they weren't...I drove around 5min before system updated itself.

I bought four tires from big O tires. I little over four years ago and I couldn't be happier with the service I've received since my purchase.

Not only do you get balancing and alignment in the rotation of the tires every six months, but also, the warranty on the tires is unmatched. After about 2 1/2 years, I miss, judged a curb and sliced The side of the front tire. I knew they had a no-fault "road hazard" warranty, but I was still surprised when it covered my own stupidity. They replace the damaged tire, No questions asked. And now two years later the replaced tire was damaged on its side, by my hitting another curb, and again, they replaced the tire with a brand new one.

I certainly wasn't expecting them to replace the replacement tire. That was two years old, Since the original set of tires was bought outside of the warranty. Which is three years but Big O tires did.
I can't say enough about that kind of customer service!

I went in needing an alignment check and general car once over. The Big O worker said it would be $200.
As I was sitting at the shop waiting for the check to start in my car I got to thinking that sounded a bit expensive. I asked the guy and he said the alignment check was actually free, but the general check would be more expensive. I could have accepted that, but he went on to say something along the lines of, "yeah, my employees need to eat and aren't you, as a woman, scared about the sounds your engine is making?".
At that point I was about ready to take my car elsewhere. Icing on the cake was when I found out FireStone down the road would do a complete car check for less than $10. I got my keys and got away. I do not recommend this Big O shop.

Man this place is awesome. I've been going here for over four years, and they've always treated me right. I can't tell you how many times BMW wanted to sell me a new tire when I didn't even need one. I've probably saved thousands at this place because their focus is fixing the problem, not upselling the customer. I'll be a loyal client for life because they've always done right by me. I had them mount some 37x12.50x20''toyo's. When I had left, I noticed a problem in a few days later. They said since it was a few days ,that the fault was not theirs. I found this to be extremely bothersome and costly. I've always been loyal to the store, but after this I'm not sure anymore. They should stand behind their work

I think I got taken for a little bit of a ride because I had from my count 1 bubbled tire and I walked out with 3. Also due to a slight confusion over my insurance deductible which I thought was $500, but ended up being $1000. So I paid $850 out of pocket for 3 new tires when honestly I could only see a bubble on one of them (the other was totally flat). Anyway lesson learned: drive better and know my insurance.

Called a day before and I spoke with Lawrence. I needed to get my tires changed and they were able to order it pretty quickly. I came in a day later around 8am on a Friday and they were able to take me in immediately. They said it will be done within 2 hours.

They weren't lying about when it would be ready cause they called me a little before 2 hours to tell me it was ready for pickup!

I changed all 4 tires, they checked my brakes, and aligned my wheels. It all came out to be around $1300. They also put in a new right sensor for free because their tech broke mine by accident. I'm glad they were forward with that info and did the right thing.

Super fast, friendly service. Great place to fix your tires!

I have purchased a couple of sets of tires over the years from Big O. They are always polite and efficient and reasonably priced. There might be other places around town that are cheaper but those places take too much time IMHO.

I don't like giving bad reviews but these guys messed up my car and lied about it. "It wasn't their problem". I spend many thousands of dollars at this place and I do NOT recommend at all. And then being mouthy on the phone. I know several people that have had a bad experience here.

No frills, straight to the point service. Not cheap but not too expensive. Saved me a lot of time, in so many occasions. Hard to get an appt but will accommodate you as much as they can.

I kind of wanted to give them four stars because a single tire was $179 for our Ford fusion security vehicle but they were able to do it immediately and get me right back out on the road and not missing any of my shift, so they're gonna get the five stars because the convenience and speed made up for the price.
