Bob's Appliance Service

There are a lot of repair companies out there, and hard to know who will be fair and excellent--Tommy at Bob's Appliance Service is the best. He's called on us twice now; the first was to confirm our washing machine was, indeed, beyond repair and time to replace, and the second call to change the switch on our dryer (see photo). He is responsive, accommodating (he was able to come at 5pm!), and very knowledgeable. He explains what he is doing, and offers advice on how to make your appliances last longer. This kind of work ethic seems so rare these days, we truly appreciate it!

Tommy is the best. I have a 1947 Wedgewood and he fixed and adjusted the pilot light which has always been high. This was only the second time I've had it serviced in 50 years. Last guy left pilot on high.

Call Tommy NOW, he is golden. He is a great communicator, incredibly talented, down to earth and fun to hang out with while he is fixing your stuff. We feel so relieved to have finally found an appliance repair place that we trust and feel super good about.

These guy's were awesome!!! I have a Wedgewood stove and not many people work on these anymore. Bob's son was professional, fair with pricing, and communicative. They were not hard to schedule and came when they said they were. All the other places I called were either overpriced or had me scheduled out over a week and ultimately did not even come to the appointment.

My pilot light on the oven was putting out too much gas and creating a situation where gas could be smelled. They cleaned and fixed. A previous technician told me I would need to replace my safety valves but Bob's Appliance showed me that indeed they were working, just that the buttons were slow to come back out when reset. That was important for me to see that the safety valves were working and I did not need to spend 1000.00 fixing them. He also humored me and brought the gas leak detector to show me no other connections were leaking! Great company!

I had a failed dishwasher delivery installation and called at a whim to see if he could help. Got my instructions simplified, and good product advice - all on his off day.

Superior excellence!!

So glad they were there to help with the old stackable Maytag washer that was dumping water everywhere. It needed a belt which they fixed. Next load worked fine but a week later it dumped more water. They came back right away when I called them and determined it was the sensor (which they don't make anymore). The father and son team did some magic to the sensor and got it working.!!
Saved me about 1k for a new set.

Tommy and his Dad are the best. We use them whenever there's an appliance issue. The repairs help us to keep our appliances energy efficient and in great working order. They are cost effective and do great work! Plus they are just kind people!

Excellent service and top-notch expertise. This is my second review of Bob's Appliance Service. I had water dripping into the washing machine tub when the washer wasn't running. Called Bob. He called me back within an hour. And he and his son Tommy were here a little later the same morning with the part - water intake valve - and the fix.

I couldn't be happier. Bob has years of experience fixing all makes and kinds of appliances and Tommy is a whiz. It's an old washer. They checked it out. Said it was in fine condition. They saved a good old Maytag machine from the trash heap.

I feel so grateful to have found this company! Tommy was great! He fixed my stove quickly and it is working better than before!
