      (review written by my 13-year-old)

Good morning, afternoon, or night and welcome back to another big back food hunt! On today's review, we went to Breakfast Table! It was for sure one of the preppiest, slay queen, bomb-boddylishis meals I've had in a while. I had the chia bowl and it was THE shizznit. There was a bombastic amount of chia to feed my hungry hippo of a stomach, and I would most definitely recommend. But anyways! The wait was only about 15 minutes without a reservations, so pretty fast. As well as the food, it was sigma and I quote from my mom "I'm done but only short of licking the plate". You KNOW it's good at that point. It's a nice place, with skibiddi seating, and I would fow shizzle come back! Now... for the moment of truth... I may award this joint the with the prestigious award... The stamp of SLAYYYYY!!! Periodddddd!

Love this brunch spot! I am really into Asian inspired breakfast / brunch and their menu does not disappoint. Food is delicious and portioned well (no leftovers but you won't leave hungry) I'm in love with their ube latte - it's so comforting to drink on a wet and cold rainy day.

      Items I've tried:

chicken karaage hash - nice and crispy!
crispy fried pork bowl - love the red Thai curry mayo, asked for extra to mix in with the rice, yummy!
savoury french toast - decadent and full of flavour, loved how the sweet balsamic goes with the cheese and prosciutto
challah french toast - with brûlée banana, perfect dessert or breakfast!

A great brunch spot addition to Steveston Village (see my review for pix) - Breakfast Table.

I have tried the Vancouver location when it was on Broadway awhile back, & that location has since moved onto Granville St @ 14th Ave.

This location in the village is bright, spacious & welcoming.

Our server was polite & attentive.

Goodness gracious, I really loved the taste of my Miso Salmon Benedict 100%!

Was tempted to get the seafood benedict but at the last minute was urged to get the salmon instead.

I absolutely did not regret it. I can't wait to have it again.

I sampled the Pork Belly but found it to be too rich for me.

Overall everyone left full & happy.

Please note - first come first served = no reservations taken.

If you're new to this area, look for Starbucks - BT is close by.

My friend and I love to have weekend breakfast/brunch together, but often times our schedules don't work. So on this Remembrance Day long weekend, we were able to find a Saturday for us to hang out. She had heard of this new place that opened up so we decided to check it out and it's nice to go on a post-meal walk around Steveston too.

We were seated quickly and they had physical menus or by QR code. The place is quite bright with large windows. We had a tough time choosing what to get because everything looked so good. I settled for the coffee crusted pork belly benedict and a ube latte with oat milk.

I was intrigued by espresso béarnaise sauce, but unfortunately the coffee flavour was way too strong and overpowering, I couldn't really taste the shallots at all. I tried my friend's hollandaise sauce and it was way too sour, probably the most sour hollandaise sauce I've ever had. We both asked for medium eggs and they were definitely soft. The roast vegetables was an interesting side choice and I enjoyed them. The hash potatoes were a bit under seasoned for my friend.

For drinks, I found the ube latte to be very pretty, but too sweet, possibly because I asked for oat milk and not regular milk. My friend got the London fog and thought they didn't steep the tea long enough so it was quite mild.

Given the many other brunch places in Richmond, I'd probably not come back.

Oh my goodness, what a gem!!

We saw the name and thought good enough because we needed breakfast!
It ended up being an amazing restaurant!!

The servers were really friendly and energetic.

I ordered the London Fog tea and their home made vanilla made it extra AMAZING!!

Also shared dishes with my family and the salmon with potatoes and garlic miso sauce was soooo good!! I forgot the name of it but you can refer to my picture.

Highly recommend this place and I already want another London Fog!

Breakfast Table Steveston is a nice additional to Steveston for breakfast/brunch opportunities. The staff informed us they opened about 1.5 months ago and their other location is on Granville Street (which is always busy and with line-ups). No line-ups here. My two friends and I walked in and got immediately got a table. They don't take reservation, so first come, first served.

For brunch, I has the Teriyaki Loco Moco with rice which was very tasty and very filling. Pork instead of beef patty and elevated with pineapple salsa instead of the typical Hawaiian gravy. The quality of the rice used was very good. My friends had the Pic-a-dilly Caesar and Beef Bulgogi with fried rice and she stated the drink was good but the beef bulgogi was one of the best dishes she ever had. Listed it as her top 20! The flavours and spices hit the perfect note. I had a taste and it was flavourful and reminded me of a friend's mom's home cooking. The other friend had the Chicken Karaage Hash and said it was also very good. Comfort food elevated..

All the staff made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Never felt rush to eat and leave and even enjoyed a second cup of coffee. Beautiful décor and relaxing atmosphere. The chairs were very comfortable. All in all, we look forward to coming back.

Steppin into the Breakfast Table in Richmond, B.C. for the first time was a real taste bud fiesta. The vibe was spot-on - clean digs and the crew were cool peeps, making the whole scene welcoming.

Now, let's dive into the star of the grub show - the hipster Eggs Benny. That hollandaise sauce? Total bomb, man. It was creamy and rich, turning a regular dish into a flavor-packed masterpiece.

And don't even get me started on those scrambled eggs - they were next level. Flavor explosion, and they had this velvety, creamy thing going on that was straight-up dreamy.

Now, the pepper bacon and pork sausage - full-on flavor bombs. Each bite was like a flavor party in my mouth, no lie.

In a nutshell, the Breakfast Table isn't just a spot to chow down; it's a whole experience. Richmond's got a real winner here that's gonna keep me coming back for more of that tasty goodness. Oh my Gutts! Get in my BELLEH!

Ate here on Father's Day and it was everything my we expected. Having eaten a few times at their original Vancouver location, we knew what to expect and Steveston did not disappoint!

Entrees ordered were the Beef Bulgogi Benedict (x2), Seafood Benedict and an Ol' Faithful. Everything was cooked to perfection, tasted great and were good portions.

I opted to have the kimchi on the side while the father of the table opted to have his..both entrees were to our liking and both had a lot of flavour.

The Seafood Benedict was well received - a good size, great flavour and not a crumb left!

Ol' Faithful was standard issue breakfast fare but it was good and a hearty portion.

Staff were prompt, courteous and efficient. While attentive, they were not overly servicing us (see other reviews below)...I think they found their groove and we're all good by the time they had been open for awhile.

We enjoyed our food so much and we are happy this location is as consistent and tasty as their Vancouver one! We will be back!

      First to Review

Came here based on a recommendation from a friend who loves the Vancouver location. I'm giving them three stars right now because they only opened recently and definitely have some stuff to sort out but they have the potential to be a really good breakfast spot.

In terms of the food, they have a decent sized menu with a variety of options that would suit just about anyone. I ordered their coffee crusted pork belly Benedict and dirty fries. The pork belly was definitely tasty although a bit dry for my liking. I really enjoyed the espresso béarnaise sauce it came with though. The dirty fries were pretty good but needed to be tossed in the sauce a little more as only the top fries had sauce, which made the bottom fries just plain. The food was decent, the portions were okay for the value of what you're paying. I wish that the food was hotter but that could just be my preference.

They had more than enough servers on hand and the severs were attentive and friendly but it was chaotic. Servers would come to the table asking whether you needed a coffee refill despite your coffee mug being completely full, severs would come one after the other asking the same question. Our server didn't seem to quite know the menu and despite writing down our order and repeating our order, we still managed to get wrong items. But to be fair, that could have been the fault of the kitchen and not hers.

Again, given that they just opened, I can understand why there were issues. Their food was good enough that I'd definitely go back after giving them a few months to get things sorted.

First off I recommend sitting on the few available tables outside as it's pretty loud inside...mainly because it's packed with people. They don't take reservations so hit the website and get on the wait list before leaving home (and ask for patio at this time)

Ok. Now your sitting down...and get ready for some very good breakfast! We ordered the Ube latte (very sweet, maybe better as desert) and good ol coffee. Service was top notch, my coffee was always full! We ordered the fried chicken Benny and the pork belly Benny...both very tasty with a healthy portion of chunky hash browns. Even the jams are made in house!
Hell ya we will be back !
