      Fun Fun Fun!

I came here last weekend with my kids and we had a great time.

There's lots of activities to do here.

      We did:

      1. Roller skating. They have a couple of hours of free skating on Saturday and Sunday. The skates rentals is only. We had fun roller skating. They even have the roller guide available for rent($6) in case your kids needs help while they're skating. The locker rentals are 25 cents. The and guards they want you to wear are free to use however.

      2. Kayaking. This was free and will free summer apparently. They do take donations. If you love kayaking you can eat this deal life vests included of course!

      3. Brooklyn Park Brige Conservatory. My kids love the conservatory. It's small but very interactive and the workers did great with my kids. They have tutles, millipedes, small crabs, fish, newts, and arts and crafts for the kids .

      4. Jane's Carousel. My kids love the Carousel. It cost me $4 to get one with my twins. We did a couple of rides so not bad. You get about 3 1/2 minutes each turn. I recommend this ride if you visit. It wasn't crowded when we went. There's nice scenery nearby of the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges as well that's perfect for taking pictures. There were a lot of professional photographers taking advantage of this nearby.

      5. Playground. The playground was also well liked it's small but plenty to do here.

They had a street fair nearby on a closed off block. Half of it was restaurant with an international flair. That included Korean BBQ, food from Shang Hai, China, Texas brisket, etc. I had pizza which was brixk oven baked. It was very good but also very small and not too filling due to the size and the crust being thin. On the other half of the block they were selling clothes.

Parking is scarce, but there are a few parking garages nearby. It's easy to find. They have basketball courts, available too I saw. In short there's a it's of things to do here you can easily spend all day here.

I'm looking forward to coming back!

Brooklyn Bridge Park is one of the top attractions in DUMBO and a wonderful place to spend some time when visiting Brooklyn.

The Brooklyn Bridge Park is a massive undertaking. Spanning 6 piers, 1.3 miles, and 85 acres, the park is changing the Brooklyn waterfront and enabling an even greater sense of community among Brooklynites.

Brooklyn Bridge is a classic in NYC - and there is so much to see on the other side of the bridge! Brooklyn Bridge Park and Dumbo are charming areas, with stunning views. I've crossed the bridge several times but never went to those parks,

Today, the Brooklyn Bridge Park includes community gathering spaces; open playfields; extensive water recreation, such as fishing, a marina, and a safe-water kayak area; playgrounds; and a passive recreation area of spaces and trails in the restored native habitats, including over 15 acres of natural habitat
      .
For the kids, there's Jane's Carousel and multiple playgrounds. Or just relax on one of the many lawns or waterfront beaches and admire some free public art.

Tip: Restrooms are located at Pier 6, Pier 5 Uplands, Pier 2, 99 Plymouth, and in the Empire Stores shopping center.

Sitting in the park watching a classic movie on the big screen is the epitome of an essential outing during a New York City summer.

This was how I ended up at Brooklyn Bridge Park on a Thursday evening watching a film... for FREEEEE.

Movies with a View is a series held at Brooklyn Bridge Park - this year's collaborative host was Pluto TV. There are quite a few other locations to view free cult classics throughout NYC. The feature film was the ultimate classic: Mean Girls. I appreciate the variety of films they had for this summer: from Pulp Fiction, to Creed, to Dracula, etc

My friend, her younger 18 year old cousin (whom we were trying to indoctrinate into Mean Girls life) and I arrived a bit before 5PM. The event start time said 5 - I'd advise arriving at 4:30 with the knowledge that the movie doesn't start til 8PM.

Definitely great date vibes because you'll have a good amount of time before the film starts to chit chat. Also, good time for fun with the friends or family you enjoy spending leisure time with. As with most visits to the park, be sure to bring a blanket/seating and light bites. There were food trucks available to redeem a free food ticket, as well as food for purchase. There was a dj setting the perfect millennial vibes with her early 2000's playlist and it was just the perfect way to spend a weeknight in the summer.

My only qualm with the park is they should have signage directing us to the right pathway to the park. It can get a little confusing. But, now that I know the right way to get there, I feel fine coming back for Creed on August 1st.

      Hope to see you there!

Perfect sunset before watching Mean Girls for the park's Movies with a View series.

What an absolutely wonderful park that somehow manages to make itself peaceful while still being in the middle of New York.

We had crossed the Brooklyn Bridge into the Dumbo district, grabbed ourselves some coffee from Usagi, and then wandered over to the park to relax and enjoy our drinks.

Beautiful views of Manhattan and the Manhattan Bridge with the Brooklyn Bridge in the distance. We only touched a very small portion of this 85-acre park, so there's so much more to it than we saw.

Great stop, even if you only have a few minutes to visit.

On our way out of Brooklyn and waiting for the ferry, we walked over here not sure what to expect. At first it looked like a long pier that overlooks the river and has a great view of the Manhattan bridge and skyline but there's this nice park as well.

There's a lot of space for people to walk, bike, rollerblade on the path. I wish I knew about this place as I would have brought my ice cream here.

We enjoyed the view and weather for a bit as well as people watched. Very nice addition to the area and take in some of the life here while waiting for the ferry

Beautiful lush park with clean restrooms, a nature center and food vendors. Lots of seating & views of the Manhattan skyline & bridges. Lots of families & it felt very safe.

The public art fund installation land represents sitting in every language. This is everybody's land. They've had interesting & thought provoking art here. Trees are filled with lush fruits.

Such an enjoyable park with magnificent views of Manhattan definitely worth writing home about. This was the perfect place to set up and drink our coffee we got from % Arabica just around the corner on Everit & Old Fulton.

What's also nice is that there aren't many people who crowd along the area, so it's a good way to get a quiet moment of calm and clarity.

Beautiful view of the Manhattan Skyline! Enjoyed walking up and down the river while taking in the sights of the city. In addition, there were plenty of options to sit and relax. Def worth visiting if you're ever in Brooklyn.

Biking around the Brooklyn Bridge Park may have been the highlight of my trip. The weather and views were so perfect. There were so many people walking, biking, and having a picnic on a Sunday afternoon.
