Really great customer service and repairs are quick. I have used Cantoli 2 times for my washer and for my dryer, and would a 3rd time if needed.

Sergio Cantoli came out to repair my appliances 1 day after I phone called Cantoli. He checked out what was wrong, went to a local hardware store, came back, and an hr later, voila -- all was fixed. Sergio was very nice and explained the issues and the solutions in a manner that I could understand. Vacuuming around the appliances' area was a nice touch.

Prices for the 2 repairs were in the $157-$232 range per visit; they were wear-and-tear repairs. I thought the price was reasonable given how easy, quick, and reliable the repairs were.

Overall, I was very satisfied with Cantoli and would highly recommend them.

Recently, both our Viking oven and our Frigidaire dishwasher stopped working. Sergio came and quickly fixed the dishwasher. He opened the pump, and there was a bunch of broken glass inside. After removing the debris from the pump, the dishwasher is now working well.

Then, Sergio diagnosed the problem with the oven. It needed new ignitors, and the deflector plate was broken. He took the deflector plate back to his shop and fixed it, which was much cheaper than buying a new one. When Sergio came back, he brought new ignitors and the repaired deflector plate, and he got our oven working again in just a few minutes.

I also used Sergio several months ago when our Kenmore dryer stopped working. He diagnosed and fixed that problem very quickly -- for far less money than replacing the dryer.

I called Sergio when I was looking on Yelp for someone to fix our dishwasher which had standing water in it.

We spoke on the phone and he is an incredibly nice guy. He came out, and I was unavailable so he dealt with my fiance'. He took a look, figured out that the pump needed replacement, and gave a quote of X dollars for the part, and Y dollars for the labor. He also said it would be a few days.

The next day he has the part, and it costs half of the quote. And the labor came in well under his quote. He brings his own dropcloth, is very respectful of your home, and is wonderfully professional.

I plan to tell every person I know about him when they need appliance service. The guy deserves your business.

When we bought our condo 3 years ago, I knew the appliances were not top notch but we could live with them. Well our dishwasher decided to go on strike and stop cleaning the dishes--could even break up the little amount of Cascade we put int the bugger.

Looked on Yelp, found Sergio and from there on my experience was exactly like moosedog's: Sergio told me when he would be out, showed up on time, assessed the problem, ordered the part--the main pump--ouch--and installed it the next day. with a 6 month warranty. Also,all of my dealings with him were over the phone.

Appliance repair is not cheap, but the service was worth it--we also received a baby spoon with the name, Sophie, written on it out of the deal--the damn thing had been stuck in there since the previous family lived there. Damn that kid!

Two calls, still no answer. Scheduling the appointment is part of deserving a great review on Yelp. And vice versa.

Don't waste your time, use Atech Appliance Technician instead.

Tried calling and the vm box was full. Only other option was to send a message via a form on their website. That was 2 weeks ago and still no response. From a professional service establishment, I expect that someone at least acknowledges my request for help to either tell me when they can help me or that they cannot help me and I need to call someone else.

If you've got an urgent need for appliance repair it appears that these guys are not the ones to call.

Sergio Cantoli is almost too good to be true, almost scarily so. He's definitely the one to call.

Most repair and service persons show up late, or sometimes not even at all, but Sergio amazed me by showing up right on the dot for both calls he made for our particular issue, which was a GE dishwasher that refused to completely drain. On his first visit, which was on a Saturday, he diagnosed the problem in about ten minutes, told me exactly what had to be done, and not only provided a binding estimate but assured me he could execute the repair as soon as he got the replacement part the following Monday morning. That Monday, Sergio once more arrived exactly when he promised, installed the part -- and then went above and beyond the repair to thoroughly clear the dishwasher's entire drainage system to make sure it was clear of crud. Most repair persons would have slapped in the new valve and left; with Sergio, you could tell he takes a great deal of pride in his work.

On top of all that, like the other reviewers here have said, Sergio is super-nice, quiet, and really efficient. and his prices are super-reasonable. Plus, he warranties his work. What's not to like?

Our less than impressive N'finity wine fridge by Wine Enthusiast finally gave up its dying swan routine. A check on the web for N'finity repairs in San Francisco yielded Sergio Cantoli. I called, he came two days later and breathed life; well Freon, into our fridge and instantly the temperatures dropped.

Sergio knows his wine fridges and was on-time, courteous and charged me a fair price for the repair. Probably worth giving him a call for all appliances - I just found myself a new service provider.

GE Monogram was too warm and was concerned so I called Cantoli at 10:40a and I assumed Sergio answered the phone. I explained my problem to him and asked what time could he come out and look at it. I was thinking later in the day or even later. He said 11:30a. Wow, he was there at 11:30....He diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it...I had to leave the house before he was done, left him a check and said he could let himself out....everything was put back together and cleaned up when I got home...Would use again..

The reviews are true. Sergio is amazing.

My refrigerator broke. He was at my house within 1 hour. In another hour he was gone, and my refrigerator was fixed. He even let my kids help him out as he was fixing it!

From what I saw, he is a highly skilled one-man operation. These types of business can always get busy due to the nature of it being one person's time (possibly the source of some of the few bad reviews here). But skill and talent-wise, Sergio knows his stuff.

Definitely using him again!
