Unfortunately, I did not catch the technicians's name, but he did an outstanding above and beyond job. I would highly recommend having your dryer vents cleaned by this gentleman!

We requested an update in our attic insulation. Chris got in touch with me right away. We decided to also have all of our ducts cleaned. We worked out a price that was fair to both of us and he made the appointment for three days later. He sent a crew to our house led by Juan Pablo the foreman. The work was very professional. They vacuumed the entire attic and removed all of the old blown in insulation and installed Owen's Corning R38 pads. They also cleaned all of our ducts. I think there were 5 guys in the crew. They finished and packed up in about 6 hours. They left our house and yard just like they found it. I would highly recommend this company.

Chris runs a very prompt, efficient, and honest company. We were able to get over 1,100 sq ft of insulation installed from quote to completion in less than 3 days.

Chris is very transparent and upfront, and delivers on what is promised. Getting any type of work done around the house is always a drag, and ends up taking longer than expected (and usually costing more too). Not with Chris. He is efficient, painless, and reliable.

My house is also A LOT cooler. If you're looking to get your insulation tuned up before the summer, Chris is definitely a great option.

I don't like to leave reviews on Yelp unless it was really bad or really good, but I feel the need to leave a review here as the main reason I chose Chris's Insulation Services was because they provided the services we were looking for, had all 5-star reviews on Yelp, and were the cheapest.
Our Dryer Vent + HVAC duct cleaning experience, was not overly negative or positive, but I feel obligated to leave an honest review, so CIS and future potential customers are aware...
The worker that came was nice (took ~10m to get from being buzzed into the building to our door--we live in a small building on the top floor, but it is only the 4th floor--a little odd, but no big deal).
There was a bit of a language barrier, but nothing major: he had a translator app on his phone and also invited me to call Cristino himself if needed and he would translate back to the worker (he never provided his name so I'm not sure who did the work here).
The original request was for 8 ducts to clean, but 3 of them we don't know what they do, and only 1 of those 3 actually blows any air, but we never use it.
He said probably no need to service the ones that don't blow air.
In the end, he didn't clean the one that did blow air, but we don't really use it, so no big whoop...(though would like to have known what it's for and was hoping he could tell me, but no dice)...
The original estimate was ~3h for the 8 ducts plus dryer vent.
It ended up being ~3.5h for just 5 vents and the dryer vent (so would have likely been more had he done all 8 vents).
He showed me before and after photos of our vents which was nice.
Paid by Zelle and made sure to text Cristino the updated/lowered cost before paying, to make sure we are all in agreement.
Later, I noticed that there is dust debris all over my bathroom items that are under the vent (hair stuff, makeup, jewelry, etc.). I keep most of that stuff in open containers so was not too pleased that I had to empty all my various containers and clean/pick out dust out of all my personal items--wondered why they didn't just put a cloth down before working there...have never had this service done before so don't know but would assume as much considering the nature of the work...
Then noticed he didn't plug things back in that he had unplugged, or move items he had moved to do the work back to where he found them.
Not a huge deal, but something I would just assume would be done (put things back where/how you found them, cover work areas with dust cloth to prevent unnecessary mess for a job that I would assume is inherently messy).
~7am next day, am awoken by the sounds of our smoke alarms going off in the condo--have never heard it as we've only ever heard the low battery chirp on our smoke detectors, and this was definitely something else!
A bit panicked trying to address it as I wasn't even sure what it was at first... They turned off on their own right as I was ready to climb the step ladder...
Wondered if the cleaning had anything to do with it--we've lived in this unit for 12y and have never had the smoke detectors go off...
The heat wasn't running and no one was cooking so thought it a bit odd but whatever...
I go to turn the heat on in the bedroom and it doesn't work!
In all 12y we've lived in this unit we have never had any issues with the heaters, so start to suspect that the duct work may have caused it, so look up if duct work can break your heater and see that it shouldn't if done right, but can if maybe a wire is jostled, or dust falls on a part that prevents it from working properly...
I text Cristino: let him know the heater isn't working and wondering if it is due to the work and thank him in advance for his response.
Look up how to fix a broken heater and see there's a way to "reset" the heater to see if it works: shut off the heat all the way, wait 10m (reset) and turn back on.
When I turn it on after reset, I hear a noise like it's trying to work, but no air is coming out. Then the heater starts to glow orange! I put my hand close to the grill and it is warm, but again no air and that color seems dangerous! It eventually shuts itself off...
Chris texts to say the worker says he didn't touch anything so he doesn't know what happened but if it persists he'll have to come out and take a look.
I tell him it's persisting, he says he'll come 7:30am next day--great responsiveness, but I'm not available so ask him to come later and we agree in text/writing that he will come ~11/11:30am.
~12:15pm next day, haven't heard from him, so text but get no response, so call and he reiterates the worker didn't touch anything and I say I understand but we agreed to him coming to investigate. Says he's on a job and can't come until 5, so we reschedule to next day.
Next day he comes with another worker to investigate. Eventually they take heater out, clear dust from on/around it and it's fixed!
So all is fixed and fine! But not a perfect experience...
TLDR: Nice workers, quality/communication issues, best price.

I called Chris in the beginning for this job due to our house was not holding cold air during the massive heat wave and we have 2 baby girls so it was really important to us. Chris came out the same day we called him (Sunday) and gave us an incredible price to take care of our whole attic, duct work, radiant barrier and insulationt!! had his crew come out a few days later in the massive heat wave and took care of the entire job in one day! our house now holds the temp at whatever we want it to be at. Chris went out of his way to make sure that we were taken care of, even coming out the next day to take care of a water leak! no questions asked. I definitely recommend contacting Chris for any attic service you need. He and his crew will treat you like family :)

Wow, super fast response, great price, nice work and fantastic communication! I originally tried the company who installed my new heat pump 2 years ago as they told me they just started doing insulation work. They quoted me a price that seemed really high so I checked online reviews and reached out to a few. Christino got right back to me with a quote that was a fraction of what my first company quoted and told me he could be there in 4 days. They arrived on time, stayed on budget and finished promptly. I was out of town but my family was here and Christino sent me pictures before, during and after. That's how you do business. Highly recommend.

They did a great job! I was able to get an appointment quickly - we remodeled our house and wanted to clean out all of the duct ventilation. The technician was on time and worked SO HARD! He was there for a few hours and left all of our ducts shiny clean. Definitely recommend!

Had Chris and Juan come out for a quote for my attic and garage. Chris didn't just stand in the entrance of the attic and take pictures. He suited up and went all the way in to measure, crawling through rat poop as he did it. They had the best price out of 3 companies I had come out for a quote. Air sealing the attic, removing all old insulation, sanitizing and pest exclusion were included in the price, making it extra appealing.

They were on time, easy to work with and clear with communication. They taped off all the areas that might get dusty and then went to town, sucking out all the gross rat poop the old owners left with the bad insulation. They sent pictures as they went. I had a really old metal duct that the old owners had wrapped in bad insulation. When removing the insulation under the duct, it got disconnected. They gave me the option to replace it with insulated flexible duct work. Was a much better price than I had previously been quoted so we decided to do it.

So glad we chose to work with Chris. All the rooms are much more comfortable and the cold spots have all evened out with the rest of the house.

When we bought the house, we had a pest company do exclusion work in the attic but they couldn't get to everything without removing the insulation batts. And now I can feel comfortable knowing the exclusion work is done. No squirrels or rats.

I called this company, Chris's insulation because of the five star reviews. I agree with a five star review completely. Fernando came to my house on time and was very professional. He cleaned 10 air ducks thoroughly. The dust in my house is cut down considerably my new air conditioner even works better. This is an honest company was excellent people working for them. Thank you Fernando for a job well done. I will certainly be calling this company the next time I have my air ducts cleaned.

Chris and his team did an excellent job. They were the most professional of all the other vendors who came to provide an estimate. Most vendors tried to scare us and expand the scope of the work. Chris quoted exactly what was required : clean Rodent droppings, sanitizing, closing any gaps, and fix dryer vent in the attic. Their quote was little less than other large vendors who came with printed quotes and wore corporate T-shirts. None of the other estimators saw the dryer vent issue but Chris did.

All members were in the hazmat suite and all of them worked the whole day, into late evening. The insulation applied was the same as they had mentioned.

After the job, there were still sounds coming from the attic. Chris and his men came twice to check but didn't find any trace of any rodent activity. So they helped to set up multiple Blink cameras in the attic. After putting in 7 cameras, they were able to find a hole made by squirrels. Chris came back with 2 men and plugged the hidden hole, for which they had to cut open part of the roof structure as it was not accessible. After that the squirrels came back for a few weeks trying to open the barrier Chris setup. But now they stopped trying and since then no more sound from the attic.

Chris responded promptly to my inquiry to remove old insulation and fill new insulation in my attic. He gave a quote immediately and was able to start work the next day before the heat wave. His team was very professional, clean, and they did a great job.
