Good selection of auto parts, that is conveniently located on the east of 101. I think this is the only parts store in the area, which saves me a trip to El Camino Real.

I'm not sure how the parking situation is on the weekdays, but Friday afternoon there is ample street parking.

This shop is more like a Napa Auto and you have to know what you need, as there is not a big shop floor to browse. If your used to Orielly this is not the shop for you.

They have what you need, prices are average from a retail standpoint.

The customer service is good, with friendly knowledgeable staff.

Defiantly my go to when I'm in the area.

I only wish they had a better website, where I could easily search their inventory to see what parts they stock.

Other then that, be ready to shop in a dusty warehouse.

Not a very reliable spot to get auto parts. I called in for a battery but the person who picked up the phone didn't know how to search up a similar battery and couldn't find help. He told me to call back the next day and was still unable to assist me so he called me back. After calling back, he said the item was not available and I requested for him to pre order for me. Never heard back since..also they only take online/phone orders and no walk-ins.

Their prices have gone up threefold they are now more expensive than your local O'Reilly store. Shame on them fleecing of America by Americans ,won't be shopping there much longer. Good luck with your business. You keep doing that to people and you will not have any business left.

I only use oem parts on my cars. This is the only independent parts place in the area I know of where I can get oem parts without having to go to the dealer. Prices are very reasonable as well and the salespeople are knowledgeable and cool.

these guys stock almost everything. They sell quality parts at below dealer prices.

Great auto supply house, basically can get any part you need. And if not in stock they can get same day
I needed a special part, they said can have by 4:00 they called me at 2:00 to say part has arrived.
I compared some prices and they beat Oreilly prices on a few occasions.

Try to get serpentine belt and surprise day one they ask me for vin number this information is not enough. Day 2 vin number and production day plus where car was build . Finally they let me know they get parts and brand i was looking for. Arrived to shop they get wrong part for me i have to explain to professional why this part is wrong. I have been transfer to another salesperson bingo they don't have brand i was looking for,they try to sell me different brand just to make sale. I was lucky i know what i was looking for other way i have to pay for repair twice. If i can put rating 0 for the service i defiantly will. Waste of time ,waste of gas. I will inform everyone i know to stay away from this place.

This shop RULED SF auto parts when it was in SoMa. It still does, just from SSF thanks to SF real estate exile.

Lofts move in and auto parts shops are the first to go. Then the sammitch counters. Live-WORK lofts are for people who needed space to WORK with their HANDS, tearing things like cars apart to rebuild/restore them as art, not day trading and coloring pictures on a computer.

City Auto is full service parts counter with a super-knowledgable staff marks this place as one of the tops in the Bay Area, with everything for your shiny surface all the way to the most intimate internals of your vehicle.

City Auto Supply is to your generic "auto parts superstore" what a fine restaurant is to Taco Bell.

Your car doesn't just take any brake fluid, but only Castrol GT LMA? No problem. They'll understand (you have Girling seals) and have it in stock (at a great price). You won't get the "it's all the same" pitch here. Need a special type of battery with side terminals? No problems. Tons of inventory and knowledgeable, helpful staff make this my #1 stop for parts.

Too bad they moved to South San Francisco. I usually try to stop by on my way to work.

came here to buy replacement tail lights and break lights. For 2 bulbs, paid less than $4. I was shocked by how cheap it was. Will be coming back for other car stuff when they fall apart.
