How long does it take you to do the whole thing?

      A:

Depends on how fast you move through, the total immersive experience for me and another person was 1.5-2hrs. If you are with a group, it can take longer. Some rooms you have to wait for others to get through with, or have time for photos, and the… more

*Interactive experience with multiple flash cameras rooms and free digital photos!

At first I was hesitant why it's ~55 dollars per person, but they do have multiple rooms with different backdrops for photos. So I would say it's very worth it.

Upon entering, you will get a bar code where you can scan it and take photos at each designated camera location. The digital photos are free and can be downloaded.

However, you can also print hard copies at the very end of the experience in case you want some for memory or for photo album. We ended up getting the photo package which includes 5 hard copies for extra $23.

They also give you candies and macaroon along the way(one per person).

A fun interactive group experience with plenty of photo ops and aesthetically pleasing exhibits. Took us almost 2 hours to get through everything as we were genuinely enjoying ourselves and taking plenty of photos.

They have so many different rooms with different interactive aspects and you also receive some treats towards the end.

It is a bit pricey but then again what isn't nowadays especially in a large well known city. Overall it was a fun experience and worth the visit.

The Color Factory is a exhibit featuring several rooms designed to help you interact with colors using nearly all of your senses: you'll taste jelly beans, ice cream, and macarons; you'll listen to music and dance on a giant golden disco floor; you'll look at a partner and color different features about her/him; you'll smell scents representing different colors; and you'll play in a colorful ball pit at the very end.

It's a fun experience and good for an hour or so of entertainment, and there are some good photo opps (though unfortunately, the QR code cameras they have set up don't exactly crop the photos how you see them on the screen when you're posing for them -- we learned the hard way when we got our photos back and my head was cut off from about half of them).

The price tag is a bit steep in my opinion, and I don't think there's enough to make me go back, but it's worth trying once if you're looking for something new to do or want some fun pics for social media.

I did not have a pleasant experience with the staff here, namely the manager in charge who is this big man.

We arrived around 7:12pm or so, google said this place closed at 8. We had to register online, two of my colleagues have faster fingers than I do and they managed to get their purchase in before 7:15pm which I guess is the cut off to buy. They never once advised us that we have until 7:15pm to pay or the system doesn't let you buy. The guy in charge basically told us "too bad" when we asked if two of my peers could be refunded, all he could say was he could offer tickets for the next day. We were leaving for home the next day so it was not possible and he did not want to refund them. Instead he ended up taking me inside to buy a ticket. Why couldn't he have offered that to begin with instead of giving us a difficult time? We are not locals and don't have to flexibility to come back. In my opinion the staff should have advised that we had until X time to purchase tickets or the system would block you. Despite all that, the manager all he had to do was ring me up inside.

Once inside, its okay. I think this place is more entertaining for kids. You pay about $48 to take pictures in a bunch of colorful backdrops.

The ball pit was nasty - I dont know how they sanitize all those balls. Along the way they give you one choice of macaron and one choice of taffy.

$50 and all I really got to take away was some unpleasant attitudes by the worker.

It was an enjoyable experience filled with cute, family-friendly activities and sweet treats throughout. My only complaint is the steep price tag (it was about $70/ticket after taxes and fees), but everything else was great. We luckily went during an off-hour, so we basically had the museum to ourselves! The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Each room had its own theme and I especially loved the cherry blossom room - it was gorgeous! There's a lot of photo opportunities and you are given a QR code you can scan in each room to take photos if you don't want to take them on your phone.

All in all, we had a great time!

Cute place for photos! But if you didn't know already, it seems very geared towards young children and families in general with the interspersed snack opportunities and activities.

I did feel like they oversold tickets as the place was quite crowded at almost every stage of the experience. Especially at the beginning, there is not a lot of space for people. Coat check is a plus, but the way they have the line set up makes little sense. The beginning of the experience is a bit slow to get moving, so expect to crawl through for your first 20 minutes.

My one big point that was a huge negative for me was the awfully colored, dirty bathroom. A sickly mint green, the lighting alone makes it feel awful. And there are only two stalls one of which was, um, unusable at the time.

Fun for kids. Took off one star for price and another star for the extremely rude worker at the beginning of the experience who continuously shouted at each adult in our group to sign up for an individual QR code. She must have really wanted those email addresses for corporate.

Fun experience but pretty expensive at $40 a pop. I will admit though, I wasn't sure what to expect. I thought it was just some museum where you take a bunch of photos with colorful backdrops that are "instagram worthy". But it wasn't really like that. We were a group of four adults and three kids and we all loved the experience. It was an interactive experience, and that's why we enjoyed it so much l. I don't want to give away anything specific but there are several rooms you can enter and they give you some treats along the way. The rooms go one way and you can't go back (kinda like mini golf) so if there is a group behind you, you'll have to be mindful of that.

I don't know how crowded it gets but we pre-booked tickets for a Thursday at 2:45. It wasn't too bad. Some of the more popular rooms did get a bit crowded at some points but overall, we didn't feel rushed. I probably wouldn't recommend a weekend.

Nice experience if you are looking for an activity to take someone from out of town - which is what we were doing. Otherwise, I probably would have skipped it.

Visited on a cold Friday morning but they were full. Needed to buy tickets online for a later time but glad we did. The museum is good for young kids. The staff was organized and friendly. We had a great time with the exhibits.

Recommended and good place for a couple hours of fun for the little ones.

My visit to the color factory was an absolute blast from start to finish! The wacky rooms offered a unique and interactive journey, from sniffing walls to creating picture-perfect moments with confetti. The added bonus of delicious snacks like macarons, jelly beans, and ice cream in between the rooms was a delightful surprise. And let's not forget the ball pit--it brought out the inner child in me and added an extra level of fun to the whole experience.

Highly recommend this museum for a day filled with creativity and joy!
