Continental Appliance

I have had my second appliance repair completed by Continental Appliance Co. The first was a warranty call for my SpeedQueen washer in 2019. This time there was no warranty, I paid for the parts and service, and it was also a great experience. Responsive, and after a site visit to our home in the East Bay to confirm the parts, they quickly ordered the parts needed. This time it was to replace our 11 year old KitchenAid refrigerator door gaskets. The parts were received in only a few days and Sal and assistant were in my home 30 minutes after a call to confirm the arrival. Work was done in 45 minutes. Sal double and triple-checked the the door gasket was fitted and sealing correctly before the job was completed. A+ Service, again.

BTW, during the site visit I asked Sal about replacing the door 'flapper' (he called it- the flap that closes between the refr. doors) since it was not working. I could only open the right door and then the left. Rather than sell me and install a new one he showed me how to lubricate it and now it works like new!

I will call them again should another appliance fail or need service...

Nita and Sal provided A+ service. My SpeedQueen washer had a defective transmission which needed replacement. Sal was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and meticulous in removing the old transmission and putting in the new one. It was a complex and time consuming job, yet they charged me a reasonable set fee, no matter how long it took to get the job done. They saved me the cost of needing to purchase a new washing machine. Nita (the office mgr) and Sal provided something you don't see much of these days... they truly cared and wanted to help, and wanted it to be reasonably priced for the consumer. Highly recommend.
