Easy to find a parking spot. Easy to pay. Walking distance to a lot. Easy to get in and out of lot. A little tight for bigger cars in most parking spots. Don't recommend a truck there.

I had a very bad experience today.
I parked there around 2PM and I needed to leave it a little after 5PM.
When I tried to pay at the pay station the machine ate up my ticket and spit a useless paper slip. Probably it was some malfunctioning.
      No attendance was on duty.
I tried to use a phone at the exit following the sign but the phone was malfunctioning as well giving me short beeps.
I used intercom and connected to a control center.
Ladies there were nice and tried to help but they could not open the gate remotely.
After 5 conversations with them, they told me that somebody would show up in 10 min that I found hard to believe.
I left the garage by tailgating a girl who agreed to help me after I told her my story.
So if you are going to park here make sure that you leave before 5PM and check with the attendants if they are going to be in by that time.
Otherwise you are risking to experience a very unpleasant hour or two.

I didn't park here - it was too expensive. See photos for current rates as of 8/1/18. The address of this garage entrance is 2401 Clay Street, San Francisco CA.

      Rates as of 8/1/18.

Although operates 24 hours, this is a valet only facility. Not my cup of tea. Staffs are friendly though.

I must edit this review because today I received the missing valet key! They sent it priority mail and, even though they waited until Tuesday to mail it, it arrived the next day (today). Thank you! So, I will up the rating to a 2-star. It may be a CPMC issue rather than the parking facility itself, although they should have had someone there and/or someone to answer the phone at the number listed on the valet ticket.

I was "designated driver" for my friend who was having a procedure at the Ambulatory Care Center there. We were advised to park at this garage which declares both self-park and valet available, although there were no places to self-park so we were forced to valet park. After over 8 hours in the ACC (without food), we finally left at 6:20 pm, paid for our parking and went to the designated valet area. NO VALET in sight. We waited but called the phone number on the parking ticket (CPMC Parking) and got voice mail. Waited and called again. Again voice mail. We had been told the valet service was open until 7. It was not yet 6:30! After walking 4 of the 6 floors of the garage I found my car and, with another key, we got in the car and left. TWO very unhappy people.

Upon arriving home in the East Bay, I called again and left a message asking for a return call to arrange for the return of my valet key. After not receiving a call back, and after again calling the number on the valet ticket with no response, I called the main number at CPMC whereupon I was transferred to someone in Parking who DID answer the phone. He confirmed he had the key and said he would mail it to me. That was Wednesday/Thursday of last week. I STILL DON'T HAVE MY KEY!

Finally the person responsible for the number on the valet ticket called me back on Friday last week, offered to pay for my parking when I next came back and asked if anyone had contacted me about the key. Nice gesture, but a bit empty. When there was no key in the mail on Tuesday the following week (today), I called and was told it had just been put in the mail today. Sigh!

They have a corner on primo parking there, so I guess they don't have to be responsive professionals, but I think it is outrageous. And it was bad enough (combined with an exceedingly prolonged wait in the ACC) that my friend is considering NOT going back to CPMC although it has been recommended that she return. And I understand!

Usually hate to do valet parking. But had no choice, it was full, and I needed to get to emergency department at hospital. I left it there from about 10 to 6. Later, after picking up key at attendant, got in the car, noticed seat was moved way back. In about 30 seconds, my both legs were bitten possibly by bunch of fleas. Maybe 20-30 bytes. First I thought the man who parked had flea? It was terrible. Next day I tried to spray the driver floor and vacuum, noticed many fur or hair possibly from cat. I don't hav cat. And no animal ever been in my car. Then, I realized that someone with cat must have been sitting in my car. Car interior looked little more dirty than before. But many cat hair Or could have been dog. But most likely cat I can tell. I noticed the way valet keys were kept was had no security. Anyone could pickup the key without being noticed. Some homeless man with cat because of cold weather could have picked up the key with tag showing where the car was can get in to car for temporary shelter. Now I will have to sanitize and clean up my car interior completely. And many itchy bloody leg with those flea bites. Anyone else experienced the same? Never valet again!!!!
