Lovely and quaint spot, Craffle delivers on all fronts: delectable dishes, great service and great coffee. The craffle is something I hadn't had before, a savory take on a waffle that is fantastic. The Croque Madame is delicious, smothered with a perfectly done hollandaise sauce. Highly recommend this place.

Brunch all day? Yes please!
I've been wanting to try craffles for a while now and finally got around to coming by. They don't take reservations unfortunately and it is a very small location. So they do often have a line up out the door for individuals waiting for a table to dine in. We waited about 25-30 minutes for a table for 2 and it was worth it for me.
The decor of the restaurant is super cute. Very friendly staff as well. We ordered two items from the vegan menu and I was actually really surprised at how delicious they were. I will definitely be back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 19, 2024
Weekend brunch cravings cured at craffles in downtown vancouver (Yaletown). The Nutella crepe was worth the +30-minutes wait (and yes, I also got eggs Benedict because #treatyourself ). The eggs Benny combination with the craffle base was superb.
Ordered: French toast hot honey garlic chicken $20.90, Nutella fruits crepe $15.90, Avocado eggs Benny $18.90, iced latte $4.90, latte $4.90, orange juice $8.50.
Tip: do not trust their google wait time estimates. When we went it said ~15 minutes......we ended up waiting in line for 50 minutes. And sadly they wouldn't provide anyone with an estimate.
Service 3.5/5 (I'm not sure if they were understaffed or if they kept on forgetting about us, because we felt like we had to ask for the basic stuff. We had to ask for cutlery, napkins, and sauce).

So I went back a 2nd time to try the avocado toast. I avoided the lady who I dealt with the first time because she was too aggressive and rude. On this visit, there was no vegan waffle available, so again, as a flexitarian, I decided to go with the alternative.
This isn't great, but at least a complimentary coffee was given by the woman who took my order while I was waiting for my takeout. She was pleasant.
Everything was okay until the girl I dealt with the last time aggressively called me to get my order. She just handed me the food and cutlery without offering a bag. The other lady saw this and gave me a bag, which was considerate.
Although this seems cute and intimate - ideal for brunch, I simply can not justify coming back for even just take out due to the experiences that I have had. The food is good, but for what you pay for, I'm not sure it is worth fussing over as there are other places with comparable service and food.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Apr 22, 2024Previous reviewPlease note that I am writing a review based on a visit the first time. It was truly horrendous service as the girl was rude and unapologetic despite how they ran out of vegan items I wanted. On top of that, she was argumentative instead of solution oriented. I told her i was a flexitarian so i could do vegetarian instead and had to repeat myself for 10 minutes. It was stressful and a negative experience.
Nonetheless, the food was good. I never got a truly vegan experience here because they ran out of vegan ice cream for the shake, and they weren't ready for the tapioca crepe-- I truly didn't care, but a vegan would have to wait another hour, which I was not willing to do.
This place is small yet cute and intimate. I wouldn't go during the rush where there is a long line-up. I usually opt for take-out anyway.
I feel that the person I got my order from needs an attitude adjustment or to be replaced. I hate dealing with her. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth. - Apr 2, 2024
Often extremely busy, especially on the weekends, and staff aren't particularly proficient at seating people in a timely manner. But the food is creative, high-quality, and plentiful, with plenty of vegan options.
My wife & I had been wanting to try this place for months, but always balked due to the long line-ups. We finally decided to withstand the wait, and it wasn't too bad given that we were willing to sit at the counter (the place is quite small).
They have a special vegan section on the menu without 6 different items. I got the Green Crispy Chik'n Tapioca ($18.50) and my wife got the Vegan Avocado Toast ($14.90) with some JUST Egg added ($5.50). The food came out in about 10-15 minutes, not bad given how busy they were.
My tapioca dish was like an omelette made out of a flaky, dry tapioca starch that doesn't look the prettiest, but when you dig in, you're treated to an array of textures and flavours that work really well together. Inside was crispy Beyond Chicken, spinach, tomatoes, and lots of vegan cheese -- almost reminded me of a French omelette with the sharper cheese character. Extremely filling and tasty.
My wife's avocado toast was slightly more conventional but served on a croffle. There was plenty of JUST Egg, avocado, and arugula, with a good drizzle of balsamic glaze. The taste I had was solid, but I'm not totally convinced it works on a croffle.
We also got a couple of double espressos, which were made nicely.
Service was extremely friendly and proficient once we got inside.
Very solid, creative spot. Recommended despite the expected waits.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jun 3, 20241 check-in
Such a yummy vegan breakfast! So grateful they have a vegan menu. We were struggling to find decent vegan options for breakfast, and we're so glad this place came through! We got the OMG IT'S VEGAN BITES in jalapeño. Sooooooo delicious. We each ordered THE AMAZING VEGAN BREAKFAST, which came with a vegan craffle, "eggs," "sausage," and salad. We added potatoes for $4. It was definitely pricey for our meals, but we were really happy to have a filling, tasty, and satisfying breakfast. The service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was really modern and cozy. I would definitely come back here!

We came here on a Saturday and waited about 20 minutes. The space is small, and tables are very close to each other so it can get a bit loud. Definitely not a place for quiet conversations.
I got the fried chicken breakfast poutine. The cheese curds didn't melt much because there is no hot gravy over it, and the chicken was very salty. The potato was average. I don't think I'd get this dish again.
My partner got the fried chicken benny, and we both liked the croissant dough based waffles. It's like eating a croissant that's been pressed flat into waffle shape.
We also shared a mini waffle with blueberries. I liked the crispy texture of the waffle.
Overall, it's interesting breakfast comfort food, with a different menu and taste from Nero which we love. I would come back to try other items.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Mar 29, 2024
Was looking for something sweet while in Vancouver. Came across this spot and to my surprise had two items I cannot resist, waffles and Crepes. Ended up having the Nutella fruits crepe with vanilla ice cream. Hands down some of the best crepe I have tasted to date. On top of this, the staff is very friendly and attentive. Some of the other items is the menu definitely have me wanting to come back in near future and most likely will post and update on those items.

With unique food options, outstanding service and European-like decor, Craffies is one of the most exciting brunch restaurants I have visited.
The food options have exhilarating presentations, such as the Pancake Tacos being brought out as if they were tacos; furthermore, the food was delicious and filling.
The service was excellent, quick and prompt to get the orders out. The decor was bright and inviting. Check it out when you want to try something new.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jul 23, 2023
This was my second time visiting but first time coming for brunch. It was a full house when I arrived and I was worried the about how long the wait was going to be. To my surprise, I only had to wait around 10 minutes before being seated.
Menu wise, I noticed the restaurant no longer offered savoury dishes on waffles, which was quite disappointing as I remembered the waffles to be delicious the last time I visited.
I ended up ordering a Spanish chorizo crepe and thought the flavours were good, but it just had too much cheese, hence making the dish on the saltier side. I'm not sure if I'll be back for brunch again but I might come back for a sweet afternoon snack.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
