97 years and counting! Protected by the government as a national landmark. It's one of the oldest coasters in America with its original aesthetic intact. It's $10 a ride but worth it. It's separate from the Luna park so be prepared to have extra cash. It's about a minute or so ride and four steep drops. Ride in the back for more g force! If you're visiting and roller coaster enthusiast, this must be your first choice before other rides. It's even open during autumn season. A Ny stable attraction.

Absolutely thrilling ride--more fun, faster, and longer than it looks from the street. It's definitely not the smoothest roller coaster, but it's not everyday you can [safely] ride a ride that's 100 years old.

It's $10 per rider, but I would 100% go again!!

Exciting ride on a classic coaster. Best "old style" coaster I've been on yet. _____

There was a line to get on it, but it was worth it.
Cool experience. Not sure I would come just for tit, but the area is cool so this is a part I recommend.

If you wanna ride a piece of history this is where you start.. I am a rollercoaster enthusiast and this is one of the few coasters that actually scared me. The naga Hyde seats, the old school lap bar, and and the reckless abandon that this this wonderous machine moves with is astounding. You really will feel like you need a T-shirt proving that you rode this ride or purchasing your picture with the face of either horror or thrills trapped in time. This is Coney Island.

This rollarcoaster is way too scary for me mainly because of how old it is and its past history of people dying on it. Probably because of how old it is. Way overpriced too for a crappy ride. Save your pennies and visit a real rollarcoaster. Not only that the place is littered with trash all around it.

Life is currently like a roller coaster, up and down! 2020 has definitely been a Cyclone! We need to try a fun roller coaster ride that's a Cyclone like this one in Coney Island!

Although I don't ride the roller coaster these days I thoroughly enjoy watching the visitors enjoy their ride. It's fun to see the expression when they're riding and when they get off! I definitely leave if someone barfs!

You gotta go for a ride on the Cyclone at least once in your life! Put it on your Post Covid List of things to do.

The Cyclone is the Roller Coaster located at Coney Island. A roller coaster is a type of amusement ride that is a form of elevated railroad track designed with tight turns, and steep slopes. People ride along the track in open cars, and the rides are often found in amusement parks and theme parks around the world.

LaMarcus Adna Thompson obtained one of the first known patents for a roller coaster design in 1885. June 16, 1884 a year earlier the first roller coaster opened at Coney Island. Most roller coasters have multiple cars in which passengers sit and are restrained. Two or more cars hooked together are called a train. Some roller coasters, such as the Wild Mouse roller coasters, run with single cars. I've have been known to ride on the Wild Mouse also in my youth!

The Coney Island Cyclone is my fav part of Coney Island. It's only $10 to ride now and is the perfect size roller coaster, so it's fun to ride again and again. The line to get on wasn't too long either, and this was on July 4.

You can get a snapshot on the ride as it does its first drop. I don't know much more to add except fun, fun fun!!
