Doms Moving and Hauling

We hired Eduardo and his team this week to move us from Oakland to Las Vegas. I want to be clear, I am not going to dig on them. Everyone was super nice and fairly thoughtful. The guys that loaded me up and unleaded the stuff were all fantastic people. Eduardo and his wife are super sweet and great to talk to. But, that does not a business make.

Eduardo needs a manager until he is ready. As a fledgling business I wanted to give him my business, because he is young, hope-filled, and very conscious of his customer's needs. Still there were so many problems.

HOWEVER, he got most of my stuff where it was supposed to be in one piece. And that counts for a lot.

- He is not insured.
- I specifically said I wanted my stuff in an enclosed truck and it arrived piled (yes, piled like a clown car) on the back of his pickup. If it rained... there would have been no way.
- 8:30 time to show up, got started somewhere around 11 and finished about 2pm putting us 4 hours behind schedule
- Was supposed to be delivered the next morning, arrived midnight the next day.
- All ... ALL of our lamp shades were missing. They were old and in great condition and classic for the beautiful maps we have... (sigh)
- would not answer any of the 3 texts I sent him in the following days as he and his wife remained in Las Vegas. Only showed up 5 days later to get his moving blankets and only came when I was not home.

I was rooting for him whole heartedly. I tipped well. I wanted him to shine. But, it was not great. Not bad.

My partner talked and we kinda gave up ever seeing the stuff at one point. But, glad he came through in the end. But, still kinda bummed.

I love working with these guys! Eduardo is very communicative and prompt. This team helped me move from El Sobrante to Crockett. I had a studio-sized amount of boxes and furniture and Eduardo and his teammate moved everything in less than two hours. This time around, Eduardo was there with his teammate and moved two rooms worth of furniture and boxes to my storage unit, again under two hours. They were patient and helpful when there was issues at the storage unit. Super flexible about things I wanted to add last minute. They took tables, cabinets, and other furniture pieces for me, but carefully wrapped them in wool and plastic to protect them during transport. I had about 30 boxes that they handled with care.

They work fast!! I highly recommend! Efficient, careful, and reasonably priced. Saved me so much physical effort and mental stress.

This was our first time hiring movers and the experience with Dom's Moving could not have been better.

We needed movers for the following weekend and most places I found were either booked or too expensive. Called Dom's moving and scheduling with them was so easy. Sent pictures of our furniture ahead of time, and on moving day their 2-man team worked quickly and efficiently.

Dom's moving truly saved me today and I am so grateful for their responsiveness. I called looking for someone to help me pick up and move a piece of furniture from Urban Ore into my apartment.

Eduardo was communicative, friendly, and affordable. Prior to finding Dom's, I had called other mover companies who were far more expensive and unavailable, yet, when I called Dom's they were quick, responsive, and willing to help. Not only were they more than willing to help, but they also offered to come pretty much in that moment.

He drove to Urban Ore, helped load the vanity, drove it to my apartment, unloaded it, and brought it up a flight of stairs into my room.

From calling to having a vanity in my room, the whole ordeal took about an hour if not less. I am so grateful for Eduardo's help and would totally recommend to others. Definitely the best choice.

This is my second time using Eduardo's team for my move and once again they delivered top-notch quality and care for the best prices around. I cannot recommend this team highly enough. My request for two movers was on short notice, and Eduardo still got me the movers at a fantastic rate. Kevin and Raymond both had amazing positive energy and a rock solid work ethic, plus they supplied everything and anything someone would need to help pack things up.

I was hoping to like them. I was having them help me move from my condo to my parent's house then when my house was done being built then I'd have them move those items to my new house. They broke two of my shoe cabinets, which they reimbursed me for but then I noticed they stacked all my heavy items on top of regular boxes and they started to smash and break things on the bottoms box because it couldn't stand the weight. They were able to refund me some money from the damage but that's only from what I saw. I won't know what else damage was done until I hire another company to move.

Just had Eduardo and his team (Raymond & Enrique) help my wife and I with our local move. They were responsive and flexible with the move dates - which helped us a lot since our oversight caused us to push out the move date.
They were responsive in the communication leading up to the move and got to work after a brief walk through (to survey the work).
They were punctual and super efficient and incredibly hard working - we had some very large and heavy furniture pieces.

Call today... great professional movers and they can mount tv's, assemble and disassemble furniture.. even took a screen out to get out couch in through the window.. creative. Helpful..courteous and cost effective..
We appreciate the 2 gentlemen for helping us with our move... also, we needed some stuff picked up from IKEA and they were there in 20 min.. the very best

These guys are absolutely amazing, packing, organizing, and the attitude! Fantastic, had their own equipment and dollies, and the care ! I felt like they had more care for my stuff than I did! Assembling and disassembling furniture was easy work for them and they insisted in placing furniture where I felt comfortable was comfortable! Thanks again!
