East Bay Shuttle

After my Africa trip when I used BART for parking and transport from San Ramon to SFO, I learned that trying to navigate a long trip home after a very long flight/customs is not the way to go.

So, for my Italy trip, I followed Yelp advice and signed up for East Bay Shuttle. They sent me an email the days of my trip in/out which gave me the assurance that a driver would be there. On the departing trip the driver was a half hour early but put no pressure on me to hurry up.

On arrival at SFO, Juan, my driver, could not have been more wonderful to me. I had been up over 40 hours, so not thinking straight and we had trouble locating each other in the airport. He was cheerful and persistent throughout the effort. Plus I was delayed at customs and he didn't have a problem with that. I was so whacked out that I dropped my house key between the seats of the backseat and that made me so worried that I dropped my credit card down trying to get the key out. (I know what a brainless idiot that makes me sound like, but I was toast from 2 days of no sleep.) Juan didn't get ruffled by that and merely moved the seat so I could get it. The car was perfectly clean and he drove at a perfect pace. He was cheerful and encouraging throughout the entire trip. We had a very interesting conversation and I would recommend him to anyone! I will be using EB shuttle every time I take a trip of more than a couple of days. Oh... and I forgot to mention that he even helped carry my bags to my front porch which was wonderful because I bought so much stuff I could hardly lift them.

One tip: be sure you know before you depart where you will be picked up. In the SFO Int'l terminal, the pickup points are downstairs from baggage claim (i.e. not where the airporter shuttles and taxis are) and there are two points at opposite ends. Just ask them and they will know. Also, be sure you have a little cellphone juice left so you can communicate with the driver if you are late or can't find each other. Mine was on fumes, so we were lucky.

We have been using this service for several years and are always pleased with the service. We travel to Europe once a year with luggage and a mobility scooter and have never had a problem.
They are always on time for pickup and check in with us before arrival so that we know they are on their way.
Pick-up is always smooth. On our last flight our luggage was very delayed. They were understanding and patient and made a stressful experience much easier.
I highly recommend East Bay Shuttle.

I asked Esst Bay Shuttle to take me and a few students to the airport and pick us up when we returned. They were more than 20 min late for both pick-ups and still charged me full price plus tip for this service.

I would not use this service again, nor would I recommend anyone I know to use them. If you're traveling to the airport, beware of using them, you might actually miss your flit.

Thank you East Bay Shuttle! My college student was arriving at SFO after midnight and I wasn't able to get her. I was so relieved when I contacted them and they were able to schedule a pick up. Everything went smoothly from beginning to end. My daughter said it was a great ride! Highly recommend!

We used East Bay Shuttle for round trip transportation to SFO for 6 people and lots of luggage. Our trip to SFO was at 3am. The driver arrived right on time and was very helpful with the luggage. We returned very late at night but the driver was waiting nearby and came right away to pick us up. I really appreciated the email and text confirmations that I received the day before our trips. It eased my mind having them confirm the reservation. We will definitely use them again.

More recent updates. Used them last July to Oakland Airport, in March to SFO and most recently to SFO again. They are always a bit early, very professional and even with the Uber's and Lyfts, the best value for 4 of us with lots of luggage.

I thought I had a confirmed ride from SFO to San Ramon from another carrier (Tri-Valley Taxi) for a 12:30am pickup. I had an email with a confirmed reservation dated 10/4/21, but got a call just before I boarded my flight that they didn't have a driver. I started calling other carriers and was repeatedly told it was too late or they didn't have a driver.
On my 7th call, I connected with East Bay and they bailed me out! The driver they sent was on time, clean car, very professional even at the last minute and at this crazy hour.
These are going to be my go-to guys from now on.

I was tasked by our kennel club to find a reliable shuttle to pick up (SF/Oak) dog show judges and drop in Vallejo at the Marriott for our big Woofstock show. This company and their drivers made me look like a rock star. The judges had nothing but praise for the prompt and professional service they received. Maria and Emil were a joy to work with. So accommodating and conscientious. They are wonderful!

Booked this shuttle for 10 people for a work event from Seattle to Walnut Creek, We were an hour late due to our airplane having a rivet problem. Should have landed at 11:45am, landed at 12:30pm. The shuttle waited for us, so A+ so far...........Once we got into the shuttle, that's when problems started.

We were starting off to Walnut Creek from Oakland, and at first it was pleasant, but then the driver took a sharp right to get on the freeway.....I went flying into my colleague who was sitting next to me, had to pull myself over to the4 right to sit up right again...........OMG......The guy was swerving in and out of traffic and then slams on the brakes and we go flying into the seats.

Now the kicker of this whole thing..........I get car sick faster that you can blink. Thank GOD the Dramamine I took for the flight was still in my system....my colleague sitting in front of me....not so lucky....poor guy was turning GREEN....

We got to our destination and we all are crawling into of each other to get out of the van incase we needed to go puke in the bushes :(

Then fiasco with billing....they wouldn't let me leave until I got on the phone with Guya (whoever she is) I explained to her that I gave her my bosses CC a WEEK PRIOR..and that I didn't have it on me now........and why NOW are we discussing this, when it could have been discussed a week ago when I was in my office.

WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN...........

I have used this service last year and now this year over the holidays. I have found them to be very reasonable and the drivers very nice. They were right on time for a 3am pick up (damn, that's so early I really feel bad for anyone having to drive someone on Christmas morning at 3am to the airport but they do!).

We received calls the day before confirming our reservations every time. My only concern on the first trip was an older van with a check engine light on (I saw that twice now) but on this trip no check engine light and it was a newer van compared to a pretty old one we had last year.

The vehicles were clean inside, no smell of smoke or any other odors and the temperature was good each time. We were asked if we were comfortable and the driver was very friendly, keeping good conversation both going and coming. We happened to get the same guy each time.

Their pricing is very reasonable and better than several other Limo services so I'll continue to use them in the future. Hopefully they will check those engine lights and make sure they are not on as it does get you nervous on a deadline and praying the car doesn't die on the way to the airport!

I have utilized east bay shuttle for several years for business and personal travel needs to Oakland and San Francisco's airports. First, they are dependable. They pick up on time! And- They never miss appointments.
Second, the drivers are professional and courteous. They assist with luggage and know their directions. Third, the vehicles are clean, roomy and comfortable.
Their reception and answering service is always available and responsive. And thats why I this Is my "go to " shuttle service. It works, it's reliable, and the prices are competitive and a good value.
