Eric Brand Plumbing has been my plumber for over 14 years for our San Bruno home that was built in 1960. Over time he replaced the water heater, rooted my drain from home to the street, fix leaking pipes, snaked hair clogged drains, switched out shower heads, replaced kitchen faucets, removed wax from the kitchen drain, and replaced fully rusted-out toilet mounting flanges on shallow concrete that required superhero skills... He is way more than an excellent plumber, he is thoughtful, intelligent, and understands the options for long-term and short-term fixes to accommodate budgets. Eric always shared the risks of a temporary fix with great intellect. He has a wonderful work ethic, is a great communicator, and had all the equipment to do the job correctly for us. It was past midnight, and Eric's team contacted me that same day in the morning. Many thanks to Mark!! And to Steve! Mark took great care in repairing my old pipe and he, together with Steve, replaced my old overflow drain. The work Mark does is excellent. I was downstairs with a basket of laundry when I saw water slowly dripping down from the ceiling and above me. Water was leaking from under my shower tub! Something above and beyond that I want to add.. After the job was done, I texted them about a question. A shout out to Rayna who followed up with me. It's these little things that sets this team apart from the rest. I was worried that it would sound silly asking for a strainer back, but everything was good. She was so kind and understanding. I really appreciated getting the follow up. Luckily it wasn't tossed away yet, and it was found. The level of service from this team is top notch. I want to say that I one hundred percent agree with the sentiments from other customers. They are trustworthy, professional, friendly, and their quotes are very reasonable. They are nice people. Again, I highly recommend!

These folks are truly terrific. Because plumbing is often an emergency, the ability to just pop in to put a thumb in the metaphoric levee, until they can get in and do the larger fix is key. Yesterday was the second time I've had that situation (and the 4th I've used them). A failing water heater. I had trouble getting the water valve shut off, and they sent someone right away to just shut gas and water off and prepare for the larger job today. Their work is clean, efficient and to code. I trust them implicitly.

Had several clogged drains. Called at 8 am, Mark came at 10:30 am and was done before noon. Fast response and great service. I've been using Eric Brand Plumbing for years and will continue to use them.

I was previously a big fan of Eric Brand Plumbing, and had highly recommended them to neighbors, based on experiences with them in replacing shower valves/fixtures and toilet valves. I've noticed that more recently their level of responsiveness has declined, e.g. phone calls not returned, which I understand may be due to illness and short staffing.

My primary reason for decreasing enthusiasm for this business is the recent experience we had with fixing a broken bathroom sink stopper. At a service call in July we were advised that we would need to find the replacement part ourselves because it's too much time and effort for them to source this type of part. As a homeowner who bought this house with this sink, and zero knowledge about plumbing parts and fixtures, it's impossible for me to find the part. Which they understand, but too bad for you homeowner.

My husband ordered what he thought would be a workable replacement stopper. It turned out not to be the right one. They had to replace the entire drain assembly because the plumbing supply store didn't have a replacement drain stopper that would fit. The new drain is visibly mismatched to the second sink in this bathroom, with over a quarter inch difference in size. Their suggestion was that if I don't like the mismatched look, I can pay for another service call and the parts to replace the original fully functional drain assembly with a new one to match the (smaller) one they just installed.

I'd call them again to replace a garbage disposal, or a toilet flush valve where the aesthetics don't matter and all I need is a functional part. I won't call them if I need someone willing to help guide me with a product choice.

Great communication, straightforward quote over the phone to replace my faucet, and quick, high quality work. I'm definitely going to call them again when I need something checked out or replaced.

Eric has rescued us multiple times . We had a broken water pipe and then a replacement of our hot water heater .

Eric has been doing work for us since 2015. He and/or his team, Mark and Steve, have replaced a sink faucet and repaired 3 shower drain leaks, 2 of which involved cutting open the ceiling to get to the pipes. They do good work, their prices are very reasonable, and they're just really nice people.
