I needed two things: installation of a P-trap and re-installing a toilet that another plumber had botched twice.

F&A got both jobs done perfectly and knew exactly what the other plumber had been doing wrong, fixing it with no issue.

My ceiling started leaking water so I called my landlord and he called Frank at F&A. Frank came by assessed the issue and within that same day repaired the leak. The drain pipe that ran along my ceiling had a hole, so Frank was able to replace the pipe and made sure there weren't any other leaks. The fact that he was able to repair within that same day was amazing to me. Well worth the price!

I've been working with these team for 5 years for intermittent plumbing issues.

Frank is a professional and a pleasure to work with. I had a water hammering issue with a hot water pipe and Frank diagnosed the problem and was able to fix the issue and at a very reasonable price. We looked local after buying our house in South City when we wanted to upgrade our old plumbing & fixtures. Frank (F&A Plumbing) was incredibly responsive to our initial questions, helped us plan out the project, and gave us fair quotes in a timely fashion.

Before we could start the project our old water heater died and Frank came over the same day to remedy the situation, and within the day next day we had a new tank-less water heater installed! Phew!

Frank and his team installed brand new copper pipes throughout our home, added a dishwasher in our kitchen, and tirelessly installed our complex shower setup (that we love!). He also replaced an old drain line in the bathroom that we uncovered. During the project, he recommended other contractors who helped us make updates to our kitchen and bathroom - work that was outside the scope of the plumbing upgrades.

Interesting experience. My toilet wasn't flushing and these guys made it to my house within a few hours of me calling - very quick. However, their "solution" was telling me I just need a new toilet.

Maybe they thought because I'm a woman they can take advantage, or they were just inexperienced young guys. I pushed back a lot saying that seems like a last resort, dropped some technical terms to let them know I have some knowledge about plumbing, and they relented half an hour later saying well "eventually" you need a new toilet. I gave them one star because they did somewhat fix my toilet by replacing a 20$ part and charging me 236$ for the service. If your solution to a small problem is to just get a new toilet - maybe you need to rethink your approach.

Picture this... Preparing dinner with potatoes fondant and putting the potato skins and scraps, turning on the garbage disposal thinking everything would be fine. Only to find out about an hour or so later how horrible of an idea that was.

Yep, you guessed it....and I learned it. DO NOT throw potato skins in your garbage disposal!! I was left with standing water in my sink. My Home Depot purchased non-commercial snake, drain cleaner and plunger had no effect on the blockage at all.

I opted to call F&A plumbing who were able to schedule a visit within a couple of hours. I received a text notification the request was placed and then another message when the tech was scheduled to arrive.

Jonathan showed up right on-time. I mean within minutes of the scheduled start time. Super friendly and sympathetic to the mess I created for myself. Jonathan took a look, gave me a price quote along with an ETA for everything to be back to normal.

Within that time, my sink was fixed and my potato skins are now the City's problem (hope they have a better garbage disposal ;)). Everything was left clean and just how it had been before.

I've worked with Frank's team for a number of years on a variety of small-to-medium projects and repairs. They do good work, are dependable and responsive. I recommend them to my friends!

We had to have our sewer line replaced because tree roots had clogged the old ceramic pipe. Frank's initial estimate was $6200 but after he looked at the pipe and determined that only sections of it had to be replaced he lowered his estimate by $800. He and his crew were able install the new pipe in one day, he took care of the permits and inspection from Daly City, and generally made the whole process run smoothly. We highly recommend him.

Frank was very honest and straight forward. He told me the cost of the labor and advise me there's some mark on the parts. He didn't have anyone that can come out on a Sunday night but they can arrange someone for Monday afternoon. I texted him next Monday morning if he has anyone earlier. He sent someone to come over in the next 2 hours. They gave me a reasonable quote and they completed the work with in a hours. They technician was very friendly and straight forward. I already ask for quote for other works that I am planning to do. Great service and straight forward.
