Fasttrack Parking

After a local Uber driver, promoting himself on nextdoor.com, quoted me $65 for a 1-way trip from Marin County to the Oakland Airport I reasoned that I could do better just driving there and parking off-site.

I found and advance-booked Fasttrack Parking on Spothero, an app that's good for exactly that. I've had a not great experience with off-site airport parking in Oakland in the past but this time and with Fasttrack? No problems.

9 full days of outdoor parking ran me just $72. The van was quick in picking me up from my parked car and delivering me safely to the airport. On the way back their van arrived promptly and the whole experience was uneventful which is just what I want and expect in off-site airport parking.

There's nothing fancy or amazing about Fasttrack but they get the job done efficiently and at a reasonable rate thus this recommendation. If you need off-site airport parking in Oakland, Fasttrack Parking is worthy of your consideration.

- if you have a coupon, you MUST print it
- the lot is pretty tight
- must keep your paper ticket showing spot #
- the staff is nice enough but can come off rushed
- sometimes there's a line checking out of the lot

I saw reviews of pple complaining about the lot because they intended to use the coupon but didn't have the paper copy....but right on the coupon it says that you MUST print and surrender the coupon to use it. I'm not sure how that is unreasonable. Otherwise, why don't they just change their regular price to the coupon price lol??

I myself had a great experience and would highly recommend this lot for fast and easy service.

TO AIRPORT: I booked on Parkwhiz and just zoomed right in the entrance upon being given a ticket w a barcode. There was a shuttle driver already waiting and she was so nice. She pointed out a parking spot that was really close to the entrance. We parked, placed the barcode ticket on the windshield, and were given another white ticket indicating our spot # in the lot, ex: Row F 17. KEEP THIS TICKET. Or at least remember what spot it is!! Because when you go to the shuttle to pick up your car, the driver WILL ask for the ticket because he needs to know where your car is.

FROM AIRPORT: walked to the shuttle stop which was already ready and waiting. The driver collected our tickets w the spot # and drove us back quickly. (The earlier your number gets called the better, since you'll check out sooner.) We drove to the ticket booth and that's where the barcode ticket and payment were collected. In our case, we had already booked a reservation and paid through the app. So we just presented our barcode and were on our way! So easy, will definitely be back.

The shuttle arrived to our car within 1 minute of parking. Drive direct to airport. Friendly driver to help unload bags.

Love this place! I think it's cheaper/easier to book your parking spot ahead of time on spothero. This is the advice I received. It has worked for me. Staff is lovely and very easy going. I usually do not have to wait long for the shuttle in either direction.

Parked for 6 days uncovered for $8 a day, via Spothero. With the frequent Parker card, that really drops to $7 a day (net of taxes and fees). Shuttle was at my car even before I took out my bags. When I got back, the shuttle came within 5 minutes. Check-out took much longer than I expected (only 2 cars ahead of me, but they both took much longer than I did). Still, that was the only blemish. I'll definitely park here again!

I read Tracey's review and we tried Spothero as well. It was fast, easy and value-priced. We enjoyed the service at Fasttrack. The bus driver followed us to our spot to pick us up. We had fast shuttle service on the return and no problems exiting the lot. To check out, we just gave the cashier the Spothero pass and there was nothing extra to pay. Flawless, smooth - great job Fastrack!
