Service: She was very accommodating and what really impressed me was her attention to detail. She put up with me asking a bunch of questions about gel nail upkeep, how to book for different designs, etc. My nails look perfect, she didn't rush and made sure they look flawless. I'm really excited to grow my nails out and keep working with her. Thank you Val

So glad I found them! Really stepped up my mani game from the basic gel service I've been doing for years. They have an insane selection of colors, and I love that they hand paint all their art.

This is my favorite salon for structured gel manicure. Val is my nail tech here and she is patient, professional but always has complimentary drinks stocked, good music and a perfect atmosphere. This place is top tier. There's a reason why you need to wait a month for an appointment.

I just had my first appt with Cecy and I am blown away! No nail artist has ever spent so much time prepping my nails. She makes sure that the polish goes on perfectly nails are the perfect shape and size and the attention to little details is incredible. One thing I really appreciate is that Cecy is determined to help me as a chronic nail biter and she made me feel very hopeful about my nails. Thank you!!

Best place ever! I met Sam a few years back at Olive & June, then years later. Here she is as one of the co-owners. There are other manicurists here, I've seen their work and it's all good! I mostly see Sam, she's patient and accommodating with my needs, since I have sensitive skin on my hands .
I appreciate her care of the process to make sure my hands are ok, plus her nail art is beautiful !
You'll find this place inside Salon Republic at El Paseo in Pasadena, you can park in the lot underground and Salon Republic validates so I usually pay around $4 .
You can book easily online through Booksy . I just appreciate the attention, care, and artistic detail here , so I'll keep coming! Prices are reasonable for the level of artistry you're receiving! Place is never crowded so you can relax too

Best salon hands down. I've gone to Cecy, Sam, and Valeria and I've never been disappointed. These girls are the best!!

How I came across this shop: I had gotten my nails done by Cecy back when she worked for Olive & June, and they were always flawless. I moved to Texas but had to stop by Pasadena's Salon Republic this past weekend that I was in the area. Cecy and three other talented ladies opened up their own studio called FingerPaint Chicas.

The Experience: the studio is small but super cute, they have complimentary drinks and candy, the prices were available on a service menu and the ladies were very professional. I chose a gel manicure with nail art and I am happy to report that my cuticles have never looked so good and my nail art is beautiful, the way she placed the art is going to still look great in a couple of weeks when my nails grow out.

I give it 5 stars because it's a clean studio, they are professional, the results were amazing and I had no complaints. The girls are pretty booked and not much room for walk ins so I suggest making an appointment before showing up! Thank you Cecy for my awesome nails!!

My favourite nail salon to go to. Specialising in natural nails, this salon offers manicures and pedicures with regular and gel polish. The techs here promote your nail health and work hard to ensure that they're keeping your nails strong and healthy, without have to scrape and drill away at them. I have received a pedicure and multiple manicures from Cecy before and was happy to find her in this new salon. Although Cecy is my regular nail tech, her two partners in the business are also amazing at their craft and I have only seen them produce quality work.
I have requested nail art and gel nail extensions before and have walked away happy and confident after every visit and service.

Absolutely love them. Went today for my first time and I fell in love with the place!! I got my Gel-X and pedi done by Cecy. She was suuppper nice & accommodating with the little changes I did for my nails. They have the place cute and super clean. Both Cecy and Sam were so helpful and friendly to myself and the other customer inside with us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND COMING HERE!! Seriously, if you want good quality work by great people, this is it y'all!! AHH. Loving my nails.

First time coming to Fingerpaint Chicas. I chose the Gel art II as my service. I ended up choosing dried flowers which look great!! Val definitely went above and beyond!!
I absolutely love my nails and will definitely be back
