This three-block neighborhood is Napa's outdoor eating, shopping and people watching center. Hotels are here, tasting rooms are here, restaurants are here. It's a typical mixed-use development and it's pretty slick.

If you're looking to #EatLocal and #ShopLocal, you won't find more authentic Napa than here. I was through this plaza a couple of times in the course of my week-long visit to Napa and enjoyed it quite a lot.

In the evening, the area is nicely lit and I felt safe enough with quite a few people around and a friendly vibe. Parking on the street can be a challenge, but you'll find the Pearl Street Garage https://www.yelp.com/biz/pearl-street-garage-napa?hrid=S3RLLIbcy2ILFMEcmvHE0w right around the corner.

Beautiful area to walk around and enjoy the scenery.

Small boutique stores, unique coffee and wine shops and a variety of restaurants.

There's even a Wine train tour offered here.

Cool shopping and food outlets abound.

This place is fine if you want to walk around shops that you won't ever go into or shop at. It reminds me of the upper floors of the Ala Moana mall. A nice place to stroll (get my steps in) but not a place where I'd spend my money. Maybe it was because it was the week between Christmas and New Years, but the most interesting thing to me was the sign with the wine bottles in it. Other than that, it was rather meh. But if I'm here, waiting for a reservation or something else (what that could be, I don't know), I may stroll on through, but otherwise, I'll just walk on by.

Great transformation of Napa Town Center into the First Street Napa. Great murals and colors adorn the walls. We love the new ambience and the new restaurants Compline and Charlie Palmer.

      Let's go!

Elousia (spelling is wrong); claimed to be the manage- was completely unprofessiona! I was shocked. I've been shopping at this location for years and never had a bad experience. She is very inexperienced in what henu customer service is and is unfortunate she's in a leadership position. Hope that resolves itself sooner then later.

First Street Napa is a much needed makeover for downtown. There are new dining spots like Charlie Palmer Steak, Sky&Vine, Compline, as well as the old standby Eiko's. There's Lush cosmetics, Overland, Tommy Bahama, Mecox, and State&First for home decor&clothing. One of the plazas has a whimsical squirrel sculpture by Gordon Huether (who doesn't usually do whimsical) Artist Alley is colorful, with murals by local artists. It's bright&vibrant.

The former Napa Town Center that once had Ben&Jerry's, Waldenbooks, a Thomas Kinkade Gallery, has gotten an upgrade. It could use more businesses, but it's a promising start.

It was our first time here. We ate at the Tarla, the mediterranean restaurant. The food was amazing. It was very different from what I had in mind. It felt a lot more commercial. I was hoping for a quaint small local boutique experience. Theres only a handful of those here. It is a cute little strip and some of the stores were still closed. I was just hoping that this place would feel like you're visiting Napa and not just another commercially sponsored city like to you see everywhere else.
