Flow Masters Plumbing

One of our hydronic radiant heating zones stopped working. Flow Masters Plumbing was highly recommended by Pace Plumbing Supplies, which was where our original plumber bought our radiant heating system. Pace also provided some install consultation to our original plumber.

Connor, who serviced our radiant heat system, was very friendly, professional and showed up with a mask on (for Covid prevention). He found the problem very quickly, addressed it and also took a quick inspection of the system to make sure everything looked good including sending a scope into the embedded pipe to make sure hot/warm water is being distributed throughout the zone. It's nice to have our heat back!
We're very happy with the service provided and will definitely contact them again for future service needs.

Flow Masters was a life saver!! We had a leak from our kitchen sink/ garbage disposal but we weren't sure where it was coming from. The technician that came, Emmett, was EXCELLENT. He found the leak, told me it had been going on for some time (UGH), and fixed it all within 30 minutes. He was so polite, efficient, and even dealt with my barking dog. Thank you Flow Masters! Will be coming back for any plumbing work we need!

I was looking for a local expert in radiant heating systems to help me understand the system in my house, identify changes to the system that would enable it work better, and to help me maintain my system on an ongoing basis. Alan (one of the owners) evaluated my system, identified the need for a simpler, more reliable thermostat than was currently installed, explained to me how my system works so I could better troubleshoot future problems, and set me up for ongoing routine maintenance. I am very impressed by their knowledge and experience with radiant heat and the overall professionalism of the whole company. This is a very impressive business, and I am happy to have found them.

Had a backed up sink with leak and Juan was able to fix it no problem. Communication was clear on pricing and he explained everything that was wrong. He also noticed another issue with moisture behind the sink that I need to follow up on to prevent mold. This is my second job from Flow Masters and they are definitely one of the best in the Bay Area!

The team at Flow Master Plumbing is so knowledgeable: they are very familiar with the latest clean-tech solutions and their plumbers did a high quality work. They also helped us with getting our California rebates for switching to electric. Alan and Emmet were always available and very responsive when we had questions. I highly recommend them for new installations.

Had a disappointing experience when we were having a minor emergency being without hot water for over a week. Their technician arrived on time he seemed knowledgeable and professional, but then it felt like whether he knew it or not he played a classic sales game, trying to leverage our emergency for a much bigger deal, instead of just doing the minimum to fix our problem. They ended up quoting us about $2k to fix our hot water heater, which we were able to fix with somebody else for around $60 in parts + 1hr of labor. Broke our trust.

I got a water valve monitor installed by Flow Masters Plumbing. The experience was seamless and easy from getting a quote through to installation. Juan, our technician, was knowledgeable, speedy and patient. He installed the device within the estimated time and stayed to make sure my app successfully connected with device. Great experience all around. Would seek them out for future water and plumbing needs!

Very professional technician came out during the expected time slot. He took care of our problem with our faucet exactly as we hoped, and was super open to me watching. He answered all my questions and was very personable and patient. Not the cheapest option I saw, but it was worth it to me to have it taken care of professionally and correctly.

I called Flow Masters to replace a roof drain and overflow. I spoke to so many plumbers who said it was a roof drain and vent pipe. Juan took one look at the photo of the rusted roof drain combination and immediately recognized what I needed and sent me a photo of the correct part. They were able to start the work very quickly, and coordinated with our roofers. Fergal and Juan were prompt, very communicative, and did an excellent job. I highly recommend Flow Masters.

Alan and his team are genuine, detail oriented, and do high quality work. We had a heat pump water heater installed and they were very responsive and hard working when we needed some follow ups. They were respectful to people in the building and very knowledgeable about permits, tax credits, and converting from gas to electric appliances. We will certainly be using them again for any plumbing needs. Could not recommend more, all 5 stars are well deserved.

Pipe under kitchen sink sprung a leak on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving around 5:30 pm. Called a plumber we'd used before; they answered but kept hanging up on me. Then I remembered Flow Masters, which had serviced our condo before as well. Connor answered right away, was his usual cheery and friendly self, and arranged for us to be serviced the next morning at 8 am.

Willie arrived on time the next morning, was friendly and efficient, and took care of another minor issue for us (no extra charge).

We've used many plumbers in S.F. over the years, with spotty results. Flow Masters is our top choice from now on!
