I had the pleasure of working with GCSF and I am absolutely thrilled with the exceptional quality of their work. From start to finish, their commitment to customer satisfaction, attention to detail, and outstanding craftsmanship truly set them apart from other landscapers. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

One of the first things that impressed me about GCSF was their professionalism and prompt communication. They listened attentively to my ideas and preferences, offering valuable insights and suggestions to enhance the overall design of my outdoor space. Their expertise and creativity helped me envision a transformed landscape beyond my expectations.

They built a new fence, a lower deck, planters, retaining wall, and installed pavers in my yard. They also covered my ugly firewall with beautiful redwood slats. They truly have an eye for good design.

The crew arrived promptly everyday and worked diligently to bring my vision to life. Each member of the team was knowledgeable, courteous, and dedicated to delivering the highest level of craftsmanship.

Moreover, GCSF was committed to adhering to the agreed-upon timeline and budget. In the end, the transformation of my outdoor space was nothing short of remarkable. The attention to detail, impeccable design, and high-quality execution left me in awe. I have received countless compliments from friends and neighbors who have witnessed the breathtaking change in my landscape.

I don't ever write reviews and this is long overdue but I had to after Andre and his team transformed our backyard from an area we never used to a place where we spend time with family and friends on a daily basis. We have had horrible past experiences with construction/landscape projects gone bad and have always been hesitant to get any work done.

Our first meeting with Andre where we brainstormed and told him what our vision was as well as our budget was pleasant. He was very transparent, honest and just seemed like a genuine and honest guy. The next few meetings where the planning, drawings and pricing came to light were equally as pleasant. He was quick to change things around based on our budget and what we wanted, while prioritizing the quality of the overall project. We were told completion will take a month with most of the work being done in 2 weeks. We thought for sure that was too good to be true. The whole project from start to end was completely seamless, the bulk of the work was completed within 2 weeks and by a month everything was done.

Luis the project manager who was our point of contact walked us through what to expect, what materials we needed to pick out and communicated with us on a day to day basis to ensure everything was the way we wanted, while providing great recommendations. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and everything we were hoping for, he made happen. The end result blew us away and was so much better than what we hoped for. The project was affordable with no hidden extra costs, the whole team was so respectful and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day, their attention to detail and quality of work is impeccable and they were a joy to work with. Even when we noticed a little chip in the deck, Luis was on it and had the team come back that week and replaced the whole plank. I cannot recommend GCSF Pavers and Landscape enough. This is the second time I've used GCSF. The first time was about 5 years ago to turf my front yard. This time was a bigger project to do a total backyard remodel. They leveled it out and added retaining walls so that we could have turf/yard space for the kids to play and a seating area. The work quality was top notch and the crew was amazing. Luis managed the project and was always helpful and available. He was a pleasure to work with. Miguel and Danilo are excellent workers. They worked hard and fast and were super friendly. 5 stars all around!

When I moved into my home in the Mission Terrace neighborhood of San Francisco, my yard was a complete mess that was unusable for anything. When I decided to clean it up, I got 6 to 7 estimates from various landscape contractors and Andre was both the most professional and economical. Andre was the only person to show up with a measuring instrument and he created a diagram of our yard before beginning the construction process. He was receptive to many details that other people overlooked and his estimate was very detailed. His crew was professional and finished the project in under 2 weeks (there was a pause for unexpected rain). Andre stuck to the estimate and went above and beyond our original agreement for the best possible outcome. Andre is also great on text, which is convenient.

GCSF & the entire team ( led by Andre as project manager) is phenomenal! I was connected to them through Yardzen after the design process. They came out for an initial consult & was very collaborative for all my design changes/edits.

There was a little bit of miscommunication with the scheduling ( they swapped me with another client in error & ended up doing their project), so I had a bit of frustration over it. Honestly, if my in person consult wasn't as good it was, I would have moved on.

Once the above was resolved, everything moved along super fast. Andre moved things around to start my project within 2.5weeks of figuring out the scheduling mishap. They came out for a final review the Friday before the demo & one advantage of the the mishap was I had more time to make design edits, all of which Andre & team incorporated and improvised.

The team ( I think there were like 20 or more at the peak at one time) did demo, installation (lights, plant), deck, concrete pavers & turf all in 10 days flat! Mind blown with the superior quality of work & execution and the extreme professionalism. Every single member of the team was super great, kept everything very neat & organized, extremely friendly, very punctual. Definitely a huge fan of their work & during the project, Andre and team were so accessible and flexible. I recommend them a 100% & will surely work with them again!

These guys are great, have been working with GCSF both for commercial and residential work. Shout out to Luis who always seems to make the process easy, simple, and is great with following up.

GCSF helped us create the backyard of our dreams! It was transformed from an unused eyesore to a gorgeous, relaxing, low maintenance outdoor living space. I think our before and after photos speak for themselves, though it's a shame that yelp won't allow me to arrange the photos in order, so that you can see the relevant 'after' photo next to its 'before' image (I've given up trying to rearrange them after trying for half an hour).

The team - lead by Andre - was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. CGSF did all the hardscaping - patio, turf, stair landing, laying the irrigation pipe, creating large in-ground planter 'boxes' on the north side of the yard for the landscaping - all in a week's work. Andre listened carefully to our needs and ideas and then improved upon them with his expertise and eye for detail. Their pricing was more than fair compared to the other quotes we received, and communication was good throughout the process. We recommend GCSF without hesitation!

I wish I could give 6 stars! I am so grateful to have found Andre's company. Last year we put in an ADU and a pool and our backyard and frontyard were both completely wasted. I was very concerned about the cost of the requirements for the pool equipment as well as replacing all of our landscaping. Thank goodness for GCSF - Andre worked directly with my pool company to make sure all the requirements were met, which saved me a big headache. Andre and his crew are top notch, very professional and customer oriented. Also, I can't even express how beautiful my entire property is now, and at a very reasonable price!

Gardencare SF was recommended by a friend of ours who had hired them to redo the backyard. We loved their artificial grass and were looking for something similar for our kids. Andre was super speedy at coming out for an initial consult and was really open and honest with his recommendations. I felt listened to, and he was prompt with his follow-up estimate and modifications to the proposal after some email back and forth. They were fairly busy so our work wasn't scheduled until a few months later (which we were totally fine with).

Once work started, we were impressed with how professional and efficient the crew were. They worked almost nonstop from 8am to 4/4:30pm and we could tell they paid attention to detail. Andre (ok - there are two Andres - one handles more the business side and the other with hands on operations. They are both super nice!) was always available to answer our questions and explain any hiccups in the work. The crew finished our backyard in 3 and a half days! They ripped out everything in the existing yard, excavated down 6-8 inches, leveled the ground, lay down artificial grass and new pavers. They also cleaned and restained our fence/built-in benches, and cleaned up our plants. They cleaned up everything and left our yard pristine.

Totally worth every penny (and they are very reasonably priced). If we ever need any other landscaping work, we'd call them in a heartbeat. Highly recommend! Thanks you guys!

Great overall experience!! I decided to go with GCSF for a full landscape and hardscape of my yard due to their professionalism and competitive pricing. I worked closely with Andre to scope out the project and compile an exhaustive list of the things we wanted to accomplish. Specifically, a tiered backyard including fencing, retaining walls, paver stones, and turf. Andre was incredibly thorough and thoughtful in offering ideas and solutions to optimize aesthetics and minimize costs. The crew was also incredibly hard-working and completed the project quickly. I highly recommend them.
