Hanlon's Tire Service

I had my BMW towed into Hanlon Tire all
the way from South San Jose near Morgan Hill because i had a sidewall blowout. The hole in the tire was so large that fix a flat nor slime could even touch it..I went to THREE other tire shops in San Jose and no one wanted to fix it - they all told me to get lost and that they are too busy to help me. I called Hanlon Tire in San Jose and they sold me two new tires and did an alignment - i was in and out of there in a matter of a few hours and the job was done PERFECT and at a great price! Hanlon was way cheaper than San Jose and Hanlon knows their stuff. Without Hanlon, i'd still be sitting on the side of the road stranded.. I need my car to make money and my business would be dead without it, THANK YOU Hanlon Tires!!

Prices are higher then average, parking is out right bad in the area, and the service is minimal. it's okay I guess. Would def shop for a more convenient place that was competitively priced.

This dealership is very honest. I had a flat tire, and they asked me to come in. They helped me check a few things and found the nail in the tire.

Just had my wheels and tires serviced on my civic si and Hanlon's came through. The service was done fast, facilities are accommodating and I was felt like I was not talked down to when asking ton of questions. Way to go Hanlon! I would highly recommend this business for all your tires and suspension needs.

Super high quality work, upstanding owner and patient customer service! My 2020 Tesla Model 3 Performance had 2 blow-out flat tires and wrecked wheels thanks to an 65 mph encounter with a monster pothole on 101 driving in the rain in the dark. Rob and Octavio were super responsive and took great care of the car, even after a week delay due to my insurance company being slow and an additional several days of Tesla parts delivery fiasco (it's hard for non-owners to reach them, then they delivered the wrong color wheels before getting it right!) Rob got the wheels and tires fixed and alignment absolutely perfect (drives and looks even better than before the pothole!)

I'm a bit of a car guy and can tell this shop really cares about the quality of their work and treating customers right!

Finally, a week after the incident, Tesla still hadn't picked up the incorrect new wheels the delivered and he followed up to make sure they got their property back. Upstanding guy all around.

I had a screw puncture the tread of my 14" travel trailer tire. I wanted to get it fixed locally and quickly, so I went to Hanlon's Tire.

I was immediately greeted by the gentleman at the counter, brought the tire into the waiting area and within 20 minutes, it was repaired for $30. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed at the quick, friendly service.

I've been using this business for years. They do pretty much everything for cars, and they've worked on all of ours. They are always friendly, fast, and very honest. Today I got a bigger taste of just how honest and how much integrity they have.

I was ready to buy two new tires that would have run me more than $400, which was a better price than what we'd been quoted elsewhere. When I got there, Rob said he could repair one tire for $35, and that he didn't want to sell me new tires because ours were still in good condition. They made sure the pressure was good and that all four tires were balanced and I was out the door for $35. I'm very impressed by their level of integrity. We will be customers for life!

They are thorough and professional. They have great communication skills and they don't try to cheat you. However, IT'S FREEZING IN HERE. I cannot feel my toes. My hands are cold. The chairs are worn and raggedy. Great experience though.

I asked my brother to bring them my car to install some new tires I got from eBay. My brother knows nothing about cars but since I was a regular customer in this place I trusted them.

I purchased 4 Ohtsu tires from eBay, unfortunately the seller only shipped 3. I needed the car so I decided to proceed.

The two front tires were worn out. The other two in the back still had thread. However, one of them was bulging. They decided it was an excellent idea to leave that particular tire in the car. Now I have no car to use for 4th of July.
You can blame this crap to my clueless brother but this is clearly bad business practice.

Why would a customer bring new tires to replace every other tire that were still usable, except for the one that is a ticking time bomb? They purposely left it out. I don't know who decided it was a good idea but if you are thinking about using this place; you have been warned.

I have 5 vehicles. I have always used Hanlon's Tire Service to mount tires I bought on eBay. I would usually pay $25 per tire + disposal fee for my smaller vehicles, and sometimes they would even offer me a discount on the final price when they believe my old tires were too good to be thrown away.

Well, the management certainly changed for the worse because the price went up for me. When I heard the price I told brother to ask them to help us with the price. We are all living through difficult times and there are plenty of shops in the bay so why not help a regular customer a bit?

We have two more vehicles that need the tires installed. But.... They decided it was better to no budge on the price, stating that this is price they charge when people buy tires elsewhere and that the price has gone up. I have always used Hanlon's for tire installation, but these new guys certainly don't like people bringing tires to them for installation.

So I ended paying more than I used to mount some cheap Ohtsu small tires for my economy car. No matter. I will not use them anymore. I will gladly take my money elsewhere. Plenty of other shops out there.
