Island Park Storage

I found this place for RV storage and getting it set up over the phone was super easy! When I arrived they had all my info and just had to pay. They definitely have reasonable prices for the Bay Area and accessing the lot is simple. They also have people driving through and checking in on everything quite often which was a pleasant surprise, so everything feels safe there.

I just rented another unit trying to forgive the past with this company. 24 hour access they said. Nope. Came to load in on my first day at 10pm and gate is locked and no one answered the phone. How is that 24 hou4 access?

As a small business owner this storage unit worked great for us and specifically always received AMAZING customer service. Special kudos to Thomas who was always very helpful and kind assisting my team and I with all the moving parts. Definitely will recommend for great rates and even better customer service. This place was very helpful and fast with providing a storage space. I needed to get my stuff moved from my old apartment asap and they were nice enough to provide their best rates and safety. The staff were very nice and easy going. Helped me into finding my storage space and even helped with moving some of my big heavy boxes. Definitely a great place to keep your stuff stored safely.

Nice, accesible location, responsive. 8x10 was actually slightly larger and fit my 8 foot long shelving unit.

If you're looking for storage, this is the spot! I'm sure it's the best on Treasure Island, and the rates must be the best within San Francisco!

My mother, Seema, and I have used this storage unit for just over 3 years now and we've had absolutely not one issue in any aspect. The reception staff at the front, namely a sweet guy named Mike, will greet you at the office area to help you get set up. They've got great deals and a variety of options to choose from.

I feel super safe as a small woman in this storage unit because of the kind security! Their security team is very understanding and will make you feel as safe as you need. I'm not sure what "mold" that girl from 2018 is talking about... The unit we used was very clean and did NOT SMELL at all.

I highly recommend this storage center as the staff is very welcoming and accommodating, and as their units are clean, safe, and environmentally secure. Store your stuff here!!

I used the services of Island Park Storage and selected their self-storage package offer while I was visiting my family back in India for a period of three months. I got a very good deal from them and the service was very efficient. I collected all the stuff from the storage without any damage and was happy with the 24x7 access that they provided.

Highly recommend using them if you are looking for storage space at a good deal, especially around the Bay Area.

My husband and I run a seasonal business in SF which requires storage once a year for 2 to 3 months and I found Island Park a few years ago. The staff in the office are communicative (especially the manager) and always take time to discuss our needs.... and they remember us which is a plus. Last week they raised the bar by accommodating an extra request around access. Just a few mins drive from SF, with rates that beat the franchise storage providers, and accessibility even on holidays and late hours, Island Park storage is a hidden gem!

I was kind of scared to store my dorm stuff here over the summer (3 months) because some of the other reviews talked about mold and whatever. The day I moved in my stuff, it was raining really hard so I was especially worried.

Well, I'm glad to say that I just picked my stuff up and moved it out of storage a few hours ago. No mold or anything like that whatsoever. Keep in mind that I had stored things that got wet from the rain.

Very satisfied with this place! Not too far from the center of San Francisco and is accessible through the Bay Bridge. From start to end, the staff were really helpful, patient, and polite. To access my small storage unit I had to call a worker over to open the larger unit, which are the shipping containers you see on the ships. In each metal shipping container are multiple smaller units depending on the size. Quite secure.

The low prices is what I chose this place for! Not the prettiest or fanciest but it gets the job done without breaking the bank. They also returned the $45 to my card. I highly recommend this place and would consider this place again.

BEWARE! DON'T WALK... RUN!!!!!

I lost everything that I owned. I was in the process of a move and put everything that I owned into storage... The storage container leaked from the back of the unit and black mold crept to the front.

It happens all of the time. It happened to several people while I was there. I kept my damaged stuff there trying to get my insurance to cover part of it and even though it was a total loss, the owners bullied and threatened me. They kept taking out the rent and insurance from my bank account and said that if I stopped it that I wouldn't be able to have the items to show the insurance... that they would consider it abandoned and sell it off...

It's not safe. It's scary. There are people living onsite and they have mean dogs. They are burners and are living in campers and using the units as home. There are drugs and violence. Many loud fights and the dogs going after people.

The owners are the worst of the worst. The business name and who you can go after changes. They are super shifty and I cannot express to you how they stood over me and threatened me as I was in shock and crying. They kept sucking money from me and saw me crying over family heirlooms, pictures of my daughter and EVERYTHING that I owned. My insurance company quit counting at $300,000 because it just didn't matter anymore. I ended up only getting about $8,000 which was eaten up by the extra time I had to pay to store my molding items and the cost for hazmat to come out and assess it.

I've seen it happen over and over and had people contact me about it over and over because it happened to them too....

Looking for a place that knowingly rents DAMAGED units, DESTROYS all of your stuff, and DOES NOTHING to make it right? Look no further. Despite multiple feedback from previous customer around water damages, they rented me a 10x20 with damaged roof that leaked water. Water and MOLD everywhere. The mold was so extensive I do not even know how to describe it. They also HIKED PRICES almost 50% Over the last 8 MONTHS, and have a pending law suit (mine) - RUN
