The food was absolutely amazing. Definitely give this place a try. The service and food is exceptional.

It was my mamas bday and she wanted to have sushi so instead of driving into town to go to our usual spot, we decided to take my mum to J's for her 75th bday because it's close to home and we wanted to try somewhere new.
My goodness, this is a hidden gem!!
It was spotlessly clean, service was spot on and the food was delicious!
We had the Beef Bulgogi, Red Dragon roll, Frozen roll, Chicken Kara-age, edamames, pork gyozas and tempura prawns.
Everything and I mean everything was delicious from start to finish and our entire family was pleasantly surprised!
We now have our new go-to Japanese restaurant and it's only a 10 minute drive from home!!

Really great spot. Service was excellent. Had the kimchi fried rice. Deliciously spicy. I will definitely be back again next time I'm in Sidney.

When we went the sushi chief was on vacation so cannot rate the sushi but food was a little bland. Nothing horrible just not spectacular either. Like I would eat here again but wouldn't get excited about it. I spiced my dish up with the chili sauce which helped. The waitress was very friendly.

Absolutely amazing! I was so surprised to see a top-notch Korean restaurant in Sidney. The restaurant is super cozy and very comfortable. We ordered the bulgogi set and kimchi fried rice. The kimchi rice was out of this world amazing! Super hot, delicious, and not overly spicy. Not to mention the portions are HUGE! I practically had two meals out of it. Can't wait to come back and try the other dishes!

Bad service within the 1st minute!
Arrived at 7pm after traveling 2 hours day trip from Nanaimo. Place was empty as take-out customers were leaving. The person who looks like the cook asked how many in our party. Told him we have 8 and he told me "next time you should make reservations ". Wow! I thought I only need to make reservations if the restaurant is busy and full all the time! Food is so so...was only here because other places around this place are all closed.

Really good. Love the spicy pork. Great hours. Good vegan options as well for family.

Absolutely delicious sushi. Rainbow roll, black dragon roll, salmon nigiri and imago nigiri: all were excellent. Take out service was first rate.

I ordered the spicy chicken udon bowl. The food wasnt terrible but I would change up the sauce because it had a very overpowering spicy taste that didnt taste that well, other that the service was decent.

The best dish in these days. Got me having some faith in my future life in Victoria. Spent $20 on a spicy tofu soup and something about kimchi (long name, but the first word is kimchi, and it contains South Korean rice, egg, and some pieces of meat). Kimchi dish is spicier than sweet. Tofu soup is really spicy but not that much. Totally hot dinner!!! Super great! When I took pictures and posted it online, waitress asked if I needed something. I told her the meal tasted really good.
