While it is more difficult to to offer a comprehensive review of international cuisine when one's experience is limited, I can address the dinning experience at this location based on general principles of culinary flavour profiles, portions, service and atmosphere. Certainly there were no real issues to warrant censure at the time of our visit. The total experience is highly subjective. Note: it was not a particularly busy night. Our food was brought out in a timely fashion, big smiles by clients and server and, temperature wise...perfectly piping hot. Our hostess made allowances for one of us who wanted their main course less spicy and one who wanted more than the default menu indicated. There was no equivocation. It was no problem. I did find the water provided could have been improved with ice or prior chilling rather than the tepid table drinking water served. A small matter perhaps, but then often these smaller observations serve as a counterpoint to some of the overly glowing reviews one reads. By the way, the physical menus offered at seating seemed like they were very premium materials, at least nicely presenting the somewhat restrained selections listed (which to me seemed obviously curated to only include certain popular dishes, but that's just my impression). I guess there was a bit of disappointed that the fried chicken didn't come with an included dish of white rice by my Asian step daughter who dines put once a week with her other father, though as an add-on it was only $2.00. And for a full $6.00 more you got a rice bowl and a beverage selection (my recollection) which didn't seem like a good value to me, but then I'm a bit cheap. Our two meals did come with a very small dish of kimchi each -- which actually was about the right amount for me as the main course portion sizes were reasonably generous I suppose. for kimchi lovers, it was a paltry amount. The boneless fried chicken was enjoyable but did not surpass many of the other better Korean restaurants in Victoria according to my step daughter. It was her that wanted to try this restaurant as she had tried so many in town. The included Korean Cabbage Salad appeared authentic with its slightly unusual flavour. It was good nevertheless (I tried a bit if it). While I would recommend trying this establishment at least once -- I want to return to try the Fisherman's Hot Pot too -- the actual physical interior had more of a typical fast food restaurant vibe with an admirable high ceiling which might foster either good of negative feeling for more intimate date outings say, with your spouse for a special night. Fortunately the food was really good so that's what I think you are paying for. It's really easy to come off too critical with these reviews, but value has increasingly permeated my thinking on eating out this past year or two.

The ambiance of the restaurant has a hint of what the restaurant imbues, a korean fusion restaurant. It feels clean and modern and felt welcomed from the two servers! A pleasant service, all around.
We ordered the starter, deep fried dumbplings, lemon soya, korean chili, and honey miso chicken wings. All the fried food was amazing. None of the fried food were greasy and cooked well to the inside. The outside was crispy and korean chili just hit the perfect spot. It is now one of the top chicken wings I had, especially the korean chili and honey miso!
For the main meal, I had the fisherman's hotpot. Just as the name implies, there are assorted veggies and seafood. And overall this was my favorite experience of the meal. This broth was simply amazing! Coming from a Californian, this is a specialty of its own. It's so good that when I come up to visit Victoria again and for anyone else, this is a must!

      Overall 5/5!

Easily the best authentic Korean restaurant in Victoria. The chef came from a well known hotel to have found this place. Chicken wings, deep fried prawns and fisherman's hot pot are all top notch. Btw, the fisherman's hot pot is a MUST try although there's a bit of a kick to it. Would love to try other dishes as well!

Pretty authentic flavors and casual decor. Service was friendly and the environment was clean. Note that there is a sign posted that the kitchen is SOLELY manned by the head chef so orders take awhile until they hire more people. Our order took 20min but was no bother to us or other patrons.

We ordered the Chili chicken and the Seafood soup. Kids ordered the bibim bowl and bulgogi bowl. Overall, not disappointed with the food- just was not authentic Korean food. None of it tasted like any sort of korean food. Everything was very sweet.
And the kids bibim bowl was literally rice, soy sauce, with an egg on top. Maybe I should have just asked for a side of rice and poured soy sauce on it for my son? Prob would have saved $8!

Nice and clean premises. Pleasant service. I had the
G.1 Meat Lover's Bibim Bab Bulgogi, Fried Egg, Green Onion, Cucumber Kimchi, Lettuce
Sesame Seed & Oil and miso soup. I added a side of kimchi. The food was very tasty. For the price of $14.95 the serving size was adequate but I would order more if your really hungry. With the Kloud beer the bill before tip was $21.33. I would come to this restaurant again.

Easily the best authentic Korean restaurant in the neighbourhood.

I had the chicken wings, stone pot rice, seafood pancake. Piping hot and delicious.

Menu changes periodically so there are new things to try every once in a while.

The place is clean and the staffs are super friendly! Lots of parking space as it took over the old Nando's location. I highly recommend this place.

If you're looking for authentic Korean food, this is not the place. My friends and I ordered the seafood pancake, the mackerel, bibimbap and the chicken ramen. The only palatable dish was the non-korean dish, the ramen. The dishes were incredibly small, and I'm not a picky eater by any means...but my disappointment was tangible. The mackerel was $13 - it was so small, was sweet from a strange marinade and served without any side dishes or rice.
      Anyhow, I would not recommend.
