We had a major leak from a rusted pipe connector and Adrian came out to assess the situation. He picked up a part and repaired the leaky connector that afternoon. The following week we had another repair needed and he came out quickly and took care of it. Everyone at J. McCabe is polite, professional, helpful and very kind. We were very pleased with the level of service provided. I would not hesitate to call them again.

We had no hot water the other day and called McCabe. Told the rep our problem and that the code on water heater indicated we needed a new burner. The part was ordered immediately and installed the next morning. Jeremy was very friendly, answered all of our questions and even came into the house to help us solve a problem we are having with cloudy kitchen sink faucet. Above and beyond! Have had had other work performed by McCabe, always professional and extremely reliable. We are seniors also in our 70s and didn't feel the least taken advantage of. Quite the opposite. Thank you McCabe for excellent service! We will refer you to our family and friends.

Disappointing. Came out several times. Work was fine, but customer responsiveness is very poor. Final time I overspent on camera work to figure out sewer issue. Took weeks to get results from them. Even with results, called two times to get someone to do the work, no response.

I have switched to another plumber, and NOW I know a good plumber.

Super appreciate the service I received!! I had a badly damaged whole home water filtration system on my home that had been leaking. I was able to have Jamie, the owner of J McCabe, take a look at it. Within a couple hours, he and his assistant had a brand new system on my home. The best part is that the Aquasana system he put in was nearly half of the cost from the Pelican system I previously had and the water tastes a hundred times better!! As a real estate professional, I can't imagine recommending any other business for this service other than J McCabe. Incredible experience all the way around!!

Our pipes backed up really good and gray water started backing up into our showers. We had company visiting from out of town in a couple of days. We unsuccesfully tried to snake it ourselves. At the recommendation of some friends, we called up J. McCabe plumbing.

Nick came by and was very courteous and professional. After failing to clear the drain from the cleanout, he climbed on the room and snaked from the roof vents. This cleared out the blockage and we have fast flowing drains ever since.

Called this morning to get fill valve in toilet fixed. Guy who answered the phone was very nice and said they'd be out between 9:30 and 11. Nice guy Ruben came and fixed problem. I like this company. They are easy to work with, do a good job and we highly recommend them.

Their customer service is fantastic! I recently tried changing my own Water heater, I ran into a problem and called McCabe. The gentleman who answered the phone took the time to help me solve my problem he was very knowledgeable and was able to give me troubleshooting tips over the phone. I really appreciate him helping when he easily could have sent a technician and charged me. These guys care about their customers. I highly Recommend them. Thank you Andrew!

Always make sure to get the price estimate and hourly cost prior to getting work done is the lesson I learnt after dealing with these plumbers. And don't ever start the work without getting the estimate written.
Don visited us to get the plumbing done, he was very nice and professional but he needed 3 trips to fix our leaking tank+to set up a bidet and semi fix shower knob (temporary fix). Due to this we got charged a whooping 650$ 15 days later. When I kept asking person who came to service for cost estimate
, he kept on saying don't worry we will chat about it later. Now I understand why. I was expecting a reasonable charge but what we got charged was outrageous!

I used J. McCabe plumbing in the past and was pleased with the work and fair pricing. However, this time not so much. I had a leak from my gutter for months and was concerned it was a major problem. A nice young man came out, opened the gutter and problem was solved. Ten minutes and no plumbing required. I was charged $300 for this. Last time my toilet fix was $250 requiring a lot more time and work. I was told they raised their rate to $300 minimum per visit at the beginning of the year. If I had been told this when I called, I could have decided whether or not to go ahead. I'm a senior on a fixed budget and having used them in the past didn't think to ask. i definitely feel I was overcharged for what was done.
