My family and I love the brunch here. Although we don't live in Coquitlam, we come all the way here for brunch.
The portion, quality and presentation of the brunches are excellent here. It's affordable as well. The ones we have in Vancouver or other cities are a bit more pricey and the portion is smaller for sure.
The service here is great. The servers speak Korean. We are surprised that a Korean running breakfast or brunch restaurant runs well and beats others lol many customers with different ethnicities would come here for brunch. I wish I could come here once a week to enjoy their breakfast.
There are free street parking and a free parking lot near by, so don't worry about parking in the neighbourhood.
I would highly recommend others to come here for breakfast or brunch. They don't take reservation but waiting in line is not too bad. I came here a few times. The waiting time was not bad.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Judy J.Coquitlam, Canada01Aug 28, 2024
Small, busy place. Service was a little slow but the food was excellent and large portions. A bit on the pricier side.

Had brunch at his location we're very happy with our visit. The place was very busy but waiting time to get a table is less than 15 minutes. Staff were friendly and checked your table needs. The place was a bit small and smokey but very clean. Foods we've ordered were very good especially the shredded hash brown. I like that they're a bit crispy outside. I highly recommend this place and will definitely go back here.

This little restaurant in PoCo is earning the reputation as one of the best go to brunch locations in the Tri-cities. I feel it is well earned by the good food, creative menu, decent portions and good service. Although the restaurant is small, it has a very good vibe.
Our group ordered the Tuscan Chicken Benny 5/5, Bacon, sausage, mushroom and cheese omelette 5/5, waffle and fruit 5/5 and California Bunny 4/5. The only one thing I wish they give more was the shredded hash browns. Portion was on the small size. If they can increase seating capacity would be great too. Hope to try the rest of the menu sometime soon.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 11, 2023
I loved this! The chicken was so juicy and i loved how it tasted with the maple syrup. The waffles were also crispy and chewy. It was a really good waffle and not just something from the freezer! The only critique i have is that i wish you could pour the syrup yourself so you can choose how sweet you want it. Highly highly recommend

Great family run restaurant and the meals are home cooked style comfort meals.
I have had the chicken and waffles and the breakfast skillet and everything looks really good as I watched other meals arrive at some of the other tables
Only open for breakfast and lunches so get their early.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 1, 2022
Mmm.... On the way back home we were hungry for some brunch and found this cute place in downtown PoCo.... Korean fusion brunch. I was really tempted to have the stone hot pot (bi bim bap) but decided on the chicken and waffles. Wow what an awesome choice.
The chicken is crispy yet still juicy and the batter is slightly sweet. Great texture and flavour. The waffles are just delicious and the egg on top just the perfect extra flair. And it is a huge meal - very very filling. My son had the Tuscan Benedict with the same yummy fried chicken. My kids already asking about going back!! :)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Aug 15, 2022
I didn't realize the brunch scene in Coquitlam/Port Coquitlam is so strong! Now that I live farther away from Downtown Vancouver, I've been on the lookout for new brunch places in the area. My friend and I decided to come on a weekend afternoon to try their brunch/lunch menus. We arrived around noon and was told the wait is around 1 hour. We were a bit hesitant to wait but decided to stick around and go for coffee first. After around 30 min., we were surprised to get a call that our table was ready. There were around 8 tables in front of us when we first arrived, so I suspect a lot of diners didn't wait around or come back.
Prices are very reasonable and they have an array of options available - pasta, bennies, skillets, and sandwiches. This isn't a tradition brunch spot as there are Korean fusion dishes on the menu. We went with a Tuscan Chicken and Waffle and a Pulled Pork Skillet dish. I appreciate the option to choose shredded hashbrowns or larger potato bites.
Portion is quite substantial. My friend enjoyed his chicken and waffles and mentioned the chicken wasn't dry inside. We liked the addition of garlic and onion to the potatoes, but we were expecting smaller bite size roasted potatoes and not pan fried potato chunks. He was slightly confused as to where the Tuscan came from as the dish wasn't spicy or unique aside from the BBQ sauce, which tasted very ordinary.
To be honest, I was also slightly surprised that my pulled pork skillet dish was toast topped with pulled pork, yam fries and poached egg. I was expecting some sort of skillet hash. It seems like the skillet was more for presentation since nothing really cooked on the skillet. It was a little hard to eat as the skillet was small and the toast was tough to cut. I enjoyed the pulled pork however, as it wasn't overly salty which is often the case.
Service was solid. Nothing special but they were accommodating.
I understand there is COVID around, but I wish they didn't use pre-packaged ketchup and plastic takeout condiment containers for dine-in customers.
All in all, not a bad option for brunch/lunch and I do want to try their lunch menu. However, I don't think this place is worth lining up for.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 11, 2022
This restaurant is becoming one of my breakfast staples! It is brunch place with some pretty yummy Japanese and Korean fusion items. Because of this, a lot of the items have a salty and sweet combination which is personally one of my favourites.
You can't go wrong with any of the eggs Benedict's honestly, but the star items to me is the pulled pork hash and the crispy chicken Benedict. First off, the chicken portions are MASSIVE, and the chicken and waffles are definitely one of the most popular items. I swear half of the restaurant orders it. The hash is super flavourful as well because it's basically a Benedict but on crispy yam fries and smokey pulled pork, smothered with hollandaise, yummmm.
One important thing to note though is how busy this place can get. It is deceiving because people will often put their name down and then leave, and it looks like there's only two people in line but little do you know there are 15 people down on the list ahead of you. It is definitely worth the wait though, just be prepared or get someone to put your name down earlier!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
