JOEY Burrard

We do frequent Joey and thought let's give them a try . Ordered Joey through Door Dash. This has to be the best Door Dash delivery we have experienced to date. We ordered Japanese Gyoza, Baja Fish Tacos and Bombay Butter Chicken bowl. First the Japanese Gyoza they are a great finger food and starter. We asked for the sauce on the side. As the picture showed them in sauce. Highly recommend them and having sauce on the side. The baja fish tacos. The taste buds were in heaven again. I couldn't stop eating them. The hot sauce it comes with is on point. The fish is not over battered or over cooked. You get two tacos (soft shell) and fries. The fries were meh - but I expected that. The Bombay Butter Chicken Bowl made those taste buds dance. We asked for the sauce on the side. I would recommend it with sauce on side. The sauce is so delicious the spices the flavour of the bowl just makes you keeping going back and bang all of sudden you finished the bowl. It came with nan and pappadom. For being a North American restaurant I was impressed with the butter chicken bowl. Only slip up was we asked for the yogurt on the side but it never came. They even gave us each two cookies. Highly recommend Joey via Door Dash!

Literally the best steak and ravioli I've ever had! Recommended to me by my amazing server Krista ! She also suggested a variety of drinks for me as well! My favourites were the Smokey Paloma as well as the Joey 27 champagne cocktail.
The place is also so very beautiful! Today I came alone on my own personal self date, but I will 100% be bringing friends family and business partners back here!

The hamburgers are way overcooked. Not well done but beyond that. You could use them as shoe leather. They say they do medium (no medium rare) but they don't.

It's too bad because aside from that everything was really good. Really nice facility, very friendly and prompt service. And the rest of the food was excellent.

But the burgers...

Came here for a very late meal the night we arrived in Vancouver. It was one of the only places close to our hotel open serving food. It is a nice looking place with lots of seating. We had to wait a few minutes to be seated, but the staff was friendly and attentive.

The steak frites was very good but the au jus sandwich was not very good.

Trying to find a decent steak in the PNW is harder to find than a Vancouver Canucks highlight video. I was really pleased to have a great steak for a good price no less. While some places offer Happy Hour on drinks, Joeys offers Happy hour on food items as well. All the food we sampled was above par. Only remotely negative thing is that can get a little noisy here in the evening as it seems to be a popular place and could pose a challenge for some hearing-impaired folks. Staff were knowledgeable and professional.Overall, a great place with great food, I will be back.

This was a fantastic experience. From the bubbles when checking in to the wonderful and friendly staff this restaurant over delivered. Try the katsu chicken...unbelievable. Can't wait to return.

Fil was a great server the steak and sushi was crazy good. We are kids and he was really nice to us and took care of everyone.

We returned to Joey's for dinner. We were surprised with a glass of complimentary champagne. This is a great way to start our dining experience. This is a positive incentive to encourage customers to feel welcome at Joey's on Burrard. My friend had a Strawberry Margarita and I had a Sangria. We shared the Chile Chicken. My friend had the Ahi Tuna Club Sandwich and I had Spaghetti Pomodoro. Our server Brent was exceptionally attentive in a non obvious way. He added to our dining experience at Joey's on Burrard.

I love Joey as much as I love Cactus Club.
They deliver on drinks every time and their salads are my faves.
I enjoy how easy one can relax and chat and have a drink. Compared to some others, that just rushes one out as it's near closing.

Joey's is quite a large restaurant, so it must be a challenge to coordinate at times. In spite of some high maintenance guests, I will say that the hostess and the wait staff are friendly, professional and efficient throughout.
I had a limited time for dinner and the staff was very accommodating. I ordered the Stanley Park Waypoint beer and the Butcher's Sandwich. The beer was good. The sandwich was okay, and nothing was wrong, but it was on the bland side. Perhaps better spices or more meat or adding a flavorful cheese would have helped. Next time I would opt for a different selection.
