Juarez Tires and Brakes

Joel is a wonderful person, honest, explains everything well and his prices are very fair. My car had an unrepairable flat. I had used Juarez before to repair flats (quick service, fair price, cash only), but this time the tire was damaged on the side so was unable to be repaired. He explained to me that with all wheel drive and the degree of tread wear I had (he measured it and showed me I was in yellow ) that it was recommended that I replace ALL of my tires. This came as a shock to me. He explained that not doing so risks damaging to alignment, and brakes , and other issues including safety features. He showed me my options for tires. He encouraged me to go home and research what he had told me and then call if I wanted to go forward with replacement . I did just that and all his recommendations including the tire he recommended were spot on. I called and had him order the tires and made an appointment for the next morning.

What happened next was also impressive in terms of service. I woke the next morning sick and tested positive for covid. I let him know and said I would try to have my son bring the car in. But my son also had covid and at that point I was down for the count. I barely was out of bed for over a week, didn't even know of it was day or night. When I finally was able to move around and was testing negative I called him and was expecting him to have sent the tires back and be annoyed that I didn't get back to him again last week. He was so sweet, had my tires and was waiting for me to be well enough to come in. He let me stay in the car while they put on the new tires. They took me in immediately, no wait and finished the work in 30 min.

I always appreciate an opportunity to spend my money at a small local business vs places like Costco. And it's especially sweet when you know how wonderful the humans are who run the business. Thank You Joel and staff for being not only top of the line at what you do but top of the line human beings.

It was 4:30PM on Friday. My Audi had a flat. I dropped the car at the Audi dealership where I had bought my car and all they could do was to put back some air in my tire and wish me good luck! UNREAL!!!

I was so lucky to find Juarez Tires. They welcomed me as they were closing shop and fixed my flat in 20 minutes at a very reasonable price.

Finding a trustworthy tire and brake shop can be tough, but Juarez Tire and Brakes makes it easy. Joel and Jose provided prompt replies and fair prices, and I got new tires and brakes installed within half a day.

They've been reliable for realignment and tire patching, and this time I had more extensive work done. I can't speak for the full tire change and brakes yet, so I'll keep you updated. I do wish they offered some guarantees or warranties on their work, but their parts are OEM and they took the time to explain the work that was done. They were easy to talk to and work with, and their quick replies over Yelp made the process smooth.

Juarez Tires sold me subpar unbalanced tires 2 times in a row

Long version:
I saw the glowing reviews so I assumed this would be a good business to fix my tire with leaking air. The person who talked to me told me the leak is near the edge of the tire w/o even looking or checking the tire leak. I know for a fact that the leak is not at the edge of the tire, because I had a gas station attendant check and show me the leak 15 min prior. Anyhow, Juarez Tires said they don't plug leaks, but will sell me a used tire for $65. However, I had to pay cash. I was in a bind and just agreed to the deal.

They put on a used tire. I drove to San Jose and back noticing a significant vibration in my car at both local speed and highway speed, which did not exist before they put their used tire on my car. I take my car back to Juarez Tires. They agree to put on a different used tire. Still no improvement, and the car's vibration is even more noticeable.

I finally take my car to a tire shop (Universal Tires) by my house whom I trust and have been going to for years. These folks (Universal Tires) take the used tire off and rotated it in front of me to show me just how wobbly the used tire Juarez Tires gave me was. This made me upset, because Juarez Tires gave me 2 wobbly (unbalanced) used tires in a row.

My trusted tire people (Universal Tires) put on their used tire for me for only $60 (I paid with my credit card), and "voila" the vibration is gone.

Got a flat in my Smartcar, no spare. Had Triple A tow me to Juarez. They kept in contact via text, were so incredibly helpful. When we came in, I was panicked but ready to drop hundreds to get this fixed. The head guy came out, gave me a fist bump and said 'I can totally fix this tire! No need to buy a new one!'
I almost cried. Literally 10 min later and only a $35 dollar charge, I was back in my little car driving away. I want to tell the world how incredible these guys are. Kind, quick, inexpensive, super helpful!!! Wow. Grateful!

Hands down the best tire shop in the Bay Area. I ran into an emergency with my front tires due to an alignment issue and drove here ad hoc with no appointment lined up. Able took a look at my car, went searching through his available tire selection and with a smile on his face he said, "Ah ha, here they are! Park your car right there and give me 20 minutes." He finished early. Not only is this place right off the highway but the service and price is .

For anyone looking to grab a bite while waiting there is a great coffee & brunch spot a quarter mile up the road called Cafe & Grill.

Went in today for a tired repair and Joel and his staff were extremely nice they took us in right away and repaired our tires within 20mins and check all my other tires. Super professional and affordable. I'm glad I didn't had to spend my entire day off at the shop. Thank you Joel. We'll be back again.

I had something happen to me today. I had a massive bubble in my tire and no spare. So happy to be right around the corner from these guys. I've heard great things about their amazing service and I was looking to have my problem fixed. After they looked at my tire, I was informed that it was bubbling due to age. The tires are almost 10 years old and it was time to get rid of them. They gave me a few options and pricing for a couple of different brands as well as some used tire options. I felt that I didn't want this to happen again so I bought four new tires. You guys are amazing, thank you very much for keeping me safe on the road and my wife and kids will be safe because of you.
