Amazing service. Although they couldn't directly sell me the part to fix my 20-year-old, discontinued sink faucet, they did the research to figure out exactly the model number I needed and found it for me on Amazon. I will absolutely go back the next time I need plumbing parts (though of course I always hope that won't be soon!).

Great selection and knowledgeable staff. The prices are much better than Lowes and Home Depot and they have more selection.

I'm a fan. I've built a few malleable black iron ("black steel") pipe projects now (pull up bars, art shelf, custom lighting, string light support) and I've gotten about half my parts here. Unlike some stores in the area, the place is well staffed by friendly staff who speak English (and at least one or two other languages) well.
The best thing about the place is that they have just about everything. If you're looking for pipes in various lengths and or couplings of obscure combinations (say a 1 1/4" by 1" tee, or a 3/4" by 1" tee or a random reducer) they are likely to have it. They're also only a block or two from Lowe's, so they're quite convenient when you find that Lowe's is out of (or never had) the parts you're looking for. They do charge a premium for what they call "unusual" parts. That 1 1/4" by 1/2" tee will cost you over twice as much as the 1" by 1/2" tee.
Black iron parts seem to be sourced mostly from China and Indonesia.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - EJ C.San Francisco, CA03Mar 31, 2021

I got a Toto toilet from there for $100 cheaper than Lowe's. Lowe's did include delivery, but KH delivered for $15. There was a part missing from the manufacturer, and they got right on it and it was here pretty quick. The toilet was still in the original unopened box from Toto, so I know it was left out. Great service, great people.

Plenty of employees here and i was readily helped to make the correct decision. Then they cut a custom length pipe for me!
Quick, pleasant and not a big-box store.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Grace K.San Francisco, CA11424Sep 3, 2020
Excellent service. My 30+ year old original (basement laundry sink) faucet in the typical 1950's house was dripping. It's the style with 4 spigots: hot & cold for the washing machine plus hot & cold for the laundry sink faucet. I brought in part of the old faucet as a sample. The young man immediately located the replacement. ROC Plumbing Item # 10378 Adjustable Oakland Style Wall Mount Laundry Faucet (Made in Taiwan). 1-hour later, I replaced the faucet myself & no more drips. No crowds here, everyone wearing masks and following Covid health guidelines.

Went there today to buy some 1/2" galvanized pipe. Thought I would get a good price. They told me that their prices are for "contractors." They were friendly and helpful. I noticed also that this is a one stop shopping store. They have just about everything. I will go there again.
On the negative side:
Even at 10:30am there was no parking. Had to park three blocks away and walk in the rain.
Their prices, at least for galvanized pipe and fittings, are 20 to 100% more than many retail places. For example a 1/2" floor flange sells for about $7.00 whereas at Ace hardware I picked up some for only $3.50 each.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Annie T.San Francisco, CA01616Aug 17, 2017
Life savers!!! I own a hair salon and the pipe for one of my faucets broke and I searched high and low for a replacement piece because I needed it asap and couldn't wait for one to come in the mail. I finally found kh plumbing off yelp and the all the men were so helpful even though they weren't familiar with the piece I was looking for. They totally put something together and got the piece to finally work!! Thank you again for all your help!!!!
