L'Authentique Poutine and Burgers

A true hole in the wall! My family and I were so lost trying to find this spot, but the staff were so kind in directing us over the phone. Funny enough, we just needed to turn around because it was right behind where we were standing LOL.

We had one afternoon in Victoria and poutine was a must try on our list. L'Authentique's poutine did not disappoint, but the true star of the show for me was the shroom burger! My stomach is growling just thinking about it.

A convenient spot to grab some quick food by the water and enjoy the view!

This poutine is acceptable for the non-canadian that just wants a decent poutine. So don't be commenting on the squeaky cheese curds or the fries should be a little crisper on the outside and soft on the inside. Ignoring all that, honestly, this hits the spot.

The service is quite fast and the poutine is quite good for an untrained poutine palette!

Service was pleasant and quick. Easy downtown location on the wharf and wee birds politely waiting for remnants after people left.

The curds aren't as salty as the ones we've had elsewhere (and bought at Costco) and the fries were fresh and hot, even a random steak fry made an appearance!

No trip to Canada for me is complete without some poutine. We opted for the traditional poutine, which came out piping out and delicious! The gravy was flavorful, and the fries were great. It definitely hit the spot on a lovely afternoon.

So delicious. Also, the staff were super friendly. Like the variety of selections. Nice that it is right on the waterfront. Nice covered patio as well.

Great poutine and burgers place in Victoria. We tried their spicy poutine and boy tht was amazing. Usually not a fan of banana peppers but they just elevated the flvors of this poutine. We loved their poutine so much that we stopped by twice during our recent trip there. Service is quick. They have a few tables to sit and enjoy your burger or poutine. Highly recommend this spot.

It's been a long while since I've enjoyed poutine and having an opportunity to going to Canada AND enjoying one was ideal. This spot is a walk up window in the wharf district, with some outside seating. Simple filling meal and original poutine and a burger poutine were ordered. Both were solid choices. Keep serving up

Poutine by the water in the heart of Victoria!! What more can you ask for?! Staff were super helpful, outdoor bench seating right near the marina/whale watching venue. Easy walk from the parliament buildings.

Never had Poutine so I decided to try it out. I think it's an acquired taste but I ate it but prefer the plain fries. They double fry their french fries so they're very tasty. Burgers were good too with a smash texture and carlmelized. I had the bacon mushroom and it was tasty. Order at the window and eat in the patio. We enjoyed our meal.

My daughter wanted to try poutine during our visit to Victoria Island, British Columbia. Super friendly staff, delicious food, nice view of the wharf.
