      Kameron came to our house to service the ice maker in our refrigerator under warranty. His troubleshooting visit took less than 15 minutes, where he determined the problem and placed an order for the parts. One week later, the parts arrived, and Lake called to schedule the return visit. Kameron returned promptly in the scheduled window and was here less than 15 minutes to make the repairs.
      Kameron was fast, professional, and courteous. As an ambassador for the service industry, he deserves kudos and a satisfied customer's recommendation for a raise. If all of Lake's technicians are of Kameron's caliber, you can't go wrong choosing them for your service needs.
      I can't speak to value of service performed because this was a free warranty repair but judging by the over all speed and efficiency that they performed my work for me, I'm sure I'd be pleased even if I were paying the bill.

      BEWARE!! This is not a company I would use or recommend. My sister used them when her appliance went out and the highway robbery this company commit shows a level of immortal, corrupt dishonesty I've ever witnessed. They will unapologetically take advantage of hardworking people struggling in this inflated economy. Here is her story:

      The machine is only 4 years old and $475 brand new. She paid $125 for the service call that can be applied to repair. In a 20 minute visit the technician said it was going to be over $800 to fix it!! We asked for the quote to be written up and emailed over, but they never received it! They were getting rid of the machine based off their quote. Turns out they needed a $40 part and 30 minutes with YouTube to fix it--now the machine is working great! She then called lake appliance and the manager backs the technician and doesn't do anything to rectify the situation.

      I tried to get an appointment online, email & phone. Their system is truly BROKEN. No one responds to any of the attempts. I should have just dropped them. I had used them before for an oven so I tried for my wine refrigerator. I managed to get an online appt. they sent an email saying I had to pre-pay the service fee online. The link did not work. I tried calling, email and text. Took 2 days for a return text.

      I will update this after I get service but I don't think customers should have to "chase" a company to get customer service.

      UNBELIEVABLE. The tech they sent over had to GOOGLE how to repair, then charge me $250 for it!!! DO NOT USE.

      I am writing this review to express my profound disappointment with the service provided by Lake Appliance Repair. I recently purchased a brand new Whirlpool washer and dryer, along with a 5-year extended warranty, prior to moving into my newly built home. Unfortunately, since day one, I have encountered numerous issues with the products.

      I contacted the warranty department to schedule maintenance to address issues such as a loud screeching sound, failure to dispense detergent, and several other issues that a new appliance should not be experiencing. The service advisor assigned to my case was Kyler from Lake Appliance Repair.

      To my dismay, Kyler's approach was utterly unprofessional. He immediately began criticizing the quality of the new washer and dryer, claiming they were inferior to older models. This was perplexing, considering the significant investment I had made in these supposedly state-of-the-art appliances.

      During the service visit, Kyler confidently claimed to fix all the reported issues, despite my insistence that the problems persisted. I even showed him video footage of the malfunctions. To make matters worse, he had me sign documents stating that he had successfully addressed the problems and caused no further damage. Unfortunately, this was far from the truth.

      The next day, I discovered that Kyler had broken my fabric softener dispenser during the supposed "repair." It was evident that he knew about the damage but chose not to disclose it, having me sign documents under false pretenses.

      Despite my attempts to resolve the matter with Lake Appliance Repair, my experience only worsened. I spoke with Andrea, who assured me that a manager would contact me the following day. However, I received no response. Multiple calls and texts went unanswered for days. When I finally reached another representative today, my request to speak with a manager resulted in a prolonged hold and, eventually, the claim that no manager was available.

      This entire ordeal has revealed Lake Appliance Repair as one of the most unethical companies I have ever dealt with. After reading other reviews, it is evident that I am not alone in this experience. My next course of action will be to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, as it seems that no one within the company cares about customer satisfaction or the quality of their service.

      When Lake Appliance came to my home to fix my fridge, the ice maker in the freezer worked. When they left, it did not work. Lake had their Field Service Mgr, Kyler call and tell me the repair tech had NOTHING to do with the ice maker working.
      I said that God must have struck it down at the same time the repair person was here. He said that must be the case and they will charge me a new service charge if I want them to come out and look at it. He said that they would not fix it, despite the fact the tech has to come back out in a week anyway to finish the fridge.

      I am appalled with this company. I paid $125 for the service call for a 20 minute visit where the technician told me it was going to be over $800 to repair my 4 year old $475 washing machine. He stated the parts are expensive. He was supposed to email a repair quote, which he never did, but turns out the parts can be purchased after market for $40 and with a 30 minute YouTube, the machine works perfect again. We even found name brand parts for just over $100. I spoke to a manager who backed the technician and the quote stating their part supplier is quality but very expensive. I was getting rid of my machine based on what this technician told us... it was a miracle we figured out this $40 fix. I feel taken advantage of by lake appliance. Biggest waste of $125!! I suggest trying to YouTube your appliance issue and look online for parts.

      Here is the bottom line. My LG fridge went out on July 2, 2024. They came out to repair 3 parts on July 22, 2024. That's 20 days without a fridge. It worked for exactly 4 days - on July 26, 2024 - it went out again. So - guess I will be out of a fridge for the next 20 days.

      I filed a complaint with LG corporate office. Been in constant communications with them. LG needs to drop this company from their warranty vendors.

      I will keep this post updated.

      We had a warranty call on a dishwasher we purchased and they dispatched Lakeside as we didn't get to choose who came out.

      Guy was super nice - no complaints about customer service.

      But less than 30 minutes later he was finished and said all he had to do is snake a tube and get the food bits out.

      $225 as it wasn't covered under warranty it's working. Felt that was seemly high for a quick fix. That's $400/ hour.

      Response: The price was not quoted up front other than: if it's not a warranty issue there's fee. As he didn't know what the issue was how could he give a fee?

      You can feel I was charged fairly- I can feel it wasn't.

      Our washer needed to be repaired. The warranty insurance sent Lake repair out to do the repair. Technician Miguel arrived and did is diagnostic which took no more than five minutes and stated he needed to order parts. He stated that all parts are delivered to customers home and once they arrive to call the office and schedule an appointment to come back out. I asked what the turn around on this would be and he stated 2 to 3 weeks once the parts arrive.

      I called Lake repair and spoke to Tyler the manager to ask why it would take 2 to 3 weeks for a repair. He was rude, unprofessional and very short with his answers. He stated that technician who came out would be the one doing the repair. All he could say was , " is that it." A two to three week turn around unacceptable especially when the only tech able to do the work is unavailable. According to Tyler they would not send any other technician. The only one was the one who came out and that's final. Those were Tyler the managers word.
