After repeatedly trying to find someone to install our new ceramic electric cooktop Jimmy answered my call and came as soon as he was back from caring for a friend in Ukiah. He and his partner were efficient and very engaging. They were in and out in less than an hour. They cleaned, leaving everything neat and tidy. We highly recommend Marquee Appliance Installation.

Called Jimmy yesterday and he and Richie came today to remove my old subzero and install my new one. Very confident and knowledgeable. Not a scratch on my floor and no damage to my home. Full project done in 3.5 hrs. I would 100% recommend Jimmy and Richie. Very thankful they could come and do the job on short notice and just before Christmas.

I had damage from a water leak and had to remove my appliances quickly in order to avoid mold formation. This included a big double-wall oven, undercounter wine cooler, and a very large built-in Sub-Zero fridge, which I will call The Beast.

All the other factory certified installers gave me appointments two weeks out. Marquee scheduled a crew for the next morning.

Price was reasonable and lower than all the other quotes I got for weeks in the future.

Reece and Mike arrived on time and immediately got to work removing The Beast. They were careful, knowledgeable, and efficient. They used pads and slides to avoid damaging my kitchen and anchored The Beast against a wall in my dining room so that it could stay plugged in and wouldn't crush me dead when I needed to grab a cool Perrier.

They also did a great job pulling out the wine cooler and oven.

That they were able to pull the appliances without damage isn't particularly remarkable. The reason you *really* want to use these guys is to get the appliance installation right and here's why:

The Beast weighs 526 lb empty. I live in California. We have earthquakes. Big heavy things are prone to crush one dead when they tip over during an earthquake.

Sub-Zero customers tend to be happy customers who will occasionally buy another Sub-Zero when they run out of room for Perrier and Foie Gras, need to properly outfit the guest house, or need more space for their growing wine collection.

In order to reduce the chances of their fine, heavy, appliances tipping over and crushing their happy customers, therefore reducing repeat business, Sub-Zero designed a clever anti-tip system into their built-in fridges. This involves a pair of metal brackets that are properly placed and firmly secured to the wall or floor behind the fridge. When The Big One hits these brackets help prevent the fridge from tipping or waking out of the cabinet, crushing customers. They also serve the dual purpose of keeping the fridge from toppling over if moulding that the fridge is attached to breaks during normal use.

Upon removal of the The Beast Reece pointed out that my original, factory certified, installers not only installed the brackets in the wrong place (such they they wouldn't do anything to prevent tipping) they also screwed it into the drywall instead of a stud. Reece was able to easily pull the brackets out with just his hands.

Not only did Reece understand that this was done incorrectly, he also understood the design and operation of the brackets well enough to describe exactly who they worked and what's necessary for proper installation.

      This matters.

Reece also suggested some modifications to my cabinet cutouts to make the eventual reinstallation go better. You can bet I'll have them back when the time comes.

Left message on number about shaky washer. Calls me back right away and tells me that installer probably did not remove the transport bolts. He was right. So quick and honest.

I needed a rather large refrigerator installed that I had purchased over the internet. I was not really prepared for it when it came and the delivery person left it in a very inconvenient space.

I had to find someone to move it on very short notice. I got a referral to this place from the local appliance store. I called the owner, Jimmy Page, and told him my situation. I told him I wanted him to install the refrigerator, but not until later. For now I just wanted him to help me move this 600+ pound fridge out of the way. He came the very next day. He is very careful and I tipped him and his 'crew'(one other guy) for their help. They came out a few weeks later to install the unit. They think through what they are doing beforehand and are very methodical.

If my contractor had not already lined up people, I would have had him do the rest of the stuff. His price was even less than the appliance store charges to install a 42" fridge! I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Even though he is based in Castro Valley, he does service calls at least to the peninsula.

Jimmy was outstanding. He was extremely professional, organized, and meticulous. I wished I'd asked him to do the stone cutting that we hired someone else to do, because he had to clean up their cuts in order to fit our range in the end. He's evidently very skilled and experienced. Excellent experience all around.

Marquee Appliance was referred by our appliance store (Davies in Redwood City). Jimmy Page and his crew came out to install all our appliances - stove, dishwasher, compactor, refrigerator, etc. Although we were still missing the handles to our warming drawers, they said they would return later and install those as part of the total price. They asked for full payment by check. We paid them in full. Now 4-5 weeks have gone by and we have heard nothing from them. We have also found that one of the refrigerators was installed poorly and needs some re-work. I have called 3 times with no response. I have complained to Davies, and was told that they would be out here yesterday. They never showed.

We are pretty unhappy with the follow through from Marquee. If you plan on using them, do NOT pay them in full until you have done a full review of the installation, and everything has been completed.

Jimmy Page is reliable and professional. Jimmy installed all the appliances for our new home and he did a great job with complex installation of a 48'' Viking range and hood, 48'' wide refrigerator, and a build-in wine cooler as well as with installation of more typical appliances such as washer/dryer and dishwasher. If you are looking for a professional, honest, and reliable appliances installer look no further!

I needed to get two washer machines swapped between two houses pronto; I called a bunch of appliance repair services companies and none of them did the transporting part of the job I needed. I found Marquee in Yelp and Jimmy was very responsive and did his best to fit me in his next day schedule. They did the job exactly as expected. Jimmy and his partner were professional, on-time, and responsible. I am grateful for his quick response!
