Mill Valley Car Wash

Personally the best wash and service I've ever had, and I've had a lot. They earn every cent of their $40. Tire black and basic interior clean for that and a good wash with quick drying. Very impressed.

22 dollar exterior wash with a wipe down was quick, easy, worthwhile and a great value.
35 and they will do the interior vacuum and wipe down too.
Across the freeway a basic wash was 39.99 and not a good one. This place has tweaked a lot of little things to make it worthwhile to not seek out anywhere else. I have become a regular over time.

I just had my car cleaned (The Works service) in Mill Valley Car Wash and it was a terrible job.
When my car was finished I noticed many uncleaned areas inside and outside.
I very nicely pointed out the places to the employee and he somewhat reluctantly cleaned them.
When I came home (straight from the car wash) I found so many uncleaned places inside and outside of my car.
I just finished cleaning it and vacuuming it myself.

The worst! I pay around $60 for a basic car wash plus tips expecting a clean car.... The worst! They just vacuumed it and dust it. I was expecting a shiny car!

Meh job. Had to clean dirt off a number of places when I got home. Premium price, just ok results.

I would not even give this place a 1 star. I was wondering why I had been a while since I had gone back, and I now know why. I had dirt residue stop on my car. And I noticed that the workers spent very little time. It was not packed as it was a Wednesday morning and no one was even behind me. The level of service I would give a -1. Go to San Rafael or do it yourself.

I've always had a very good experience here, plus its super convenient! I've been a regular for years and it will stay that way.

Horrible job. Surly service at payment kiosk. Unhappy workers. Management must be unkind to the workers for them to be so miserable. I feel bad for them, but I will not be returning.

My car battery died while I was there and they were so kind and helped me jump it. Amazing service and super friendly!

Just returned from MVCW.
The tires look great. The rims not so much, and I had to "finish" the job, removing a few large areas of dirt from the car.
I hate to be "that" person that walks & inspects the car before you drive away, but I guess you really have to. I've had similar experiences at Lucky Drive car wash, missed areas and poorly cleaned tires / rims. The men & women who wash these cars are hard-working folks, however, It's incumbent upon their management to have them put a bit more quality control into the finished product. I enjoy putting money in the tip jar, but I'm tired of feeling like my $40+ isn't getting me what I paid for.
