Food was tasty and satisfying. The atmosphere felt authentic. The waitress was kind and anticipating of our needs. I very much appreciate that the broth was not overly oily.
The only complaints I have is that there was an extra charge for sauces at an ayce place and a lack of variety - but it was still tasty nonetheless. I had a good time!

Tried the seafood hotpot and asked the waiter if the
hotpot pictured in the menu what exactly i was gonna receive. Waiter replied its alitte different and when i got it there were 4 tiny shrimps and a bunch of fish balls with imitation crab. Hi there,
This is the chef of MR Hotpot. I really appreciate your review. We used more than 40 species to make the soup base of hotpot and all chili peppers are from China. That’s why our food is same as you eat in China. We are going to bring real Chinese food into Canada not American Chinese food, and this will make extra cost. As I know, you spent 22 dollars to get a hotpot, rice, noodles and a drink. If you think it is a huge amount of money to get all of them, I’m sorry that we cannot make it as cheap as fast food. Terrible service. Food was just okay. No air conditioner and extremely hot inside. We have been to this restaurant twice. Waitress extremely rude. She kept trying to rush us to leave 30 minutes before closing.

We discovered Mr. hotpot recently as we live nearby. We called about a take out menu and the young man there took pictures of the menu and texted to us as they didn't have one. We ordered a variety of dishes and they were authentic and exceptional. We had left overs the next day as the dishes were plentiful. Plan to eat in next time and get the at table hot pot service!! Delightful meal!!

Terrible food, terrible service. Most of the employees and their friends just smoke cigarettes and spit on the sidewalk out front. We even saw the cook smoking with his sanitary gloves on and then head back inside. A hard pass!
