This was my first time at Napa Premium Outlets. Got excellent deals at some of the top brands that we like to patronise.

If I were to draw a comparison with some other outlets that we go to regularly towards the South Bay, this one surely won hands down in making us shop a LOT more, that too effortlessly :)

The place has several brands' stores, a food court (which has limited variety) and lots of parking space. We were visiting on a Saturday (during Back to School Sales) & faced no issues at all, especially since we have no back to school goers, with us :-b

      Will recommend the place !!

Man I bought a pair of ultraboost and the Hispanic manager rang me up for the completely wrong price. Signage said 99.99 with 50% off and somehow I got rang up for $80 for the shoe. Considering I went on a slow Tuesday, I'm surprised they're making errors.

This place is kind of catching on from my recent trip here. I think it makes a good pit stop from when you are wine tasting or on your way to SOMO county. I came here when on the way to Sonoma County and thought I check it out. It's a lot smaller than every other factory outlet shopping center/strip mall there is out there. There seems to be ample parking here because the location isn't as popular as Gilroy and other Simon Propery shopping centers. If you are a foody but not a fan of food trucks and chinese food, this isn't the place for you. However, I really like the prices that are offered here. They cost a lot less than in Gilroy and far more than Stanford Mall. I could appreciated if they have a selection that is a lot more wider.
Warning: If you see this place on a 916 travel guide or a Napa travel guide don't come here. You will be bamboozled if you are hungry.

Napa Premium Outlets is operated by Simon. If you download the Simon app, you can access the store directory, sign up for many shopping programs and find out the latest specials store by store.

Is it worth it to download? Yes, you don't get too many emails and notifications. You can check out the store specials before you show up. For example Kate Spade is having 70% off everything. Pendleton has up to 60% off already discounted items. At least according to the app. In fine print the store has final say over sales. And Kate Spade is having a large sale but not everything is 70% off. Some of it is 70% plus another 20% off. Some isn't on sale at all.

This outlet is located in a small location but there should be plenty of stores to keep you busy for a day.

I went in the middle of the day on Friday and perhaps that was a mistake. The food vendors look like they had no intention of opening today. There was no people watching. The temperature was in the 90s and this is an open air mall. Even sitting down provided little relief.

Forced to shop I managed to check out:

      Ralph Lauren Polo
      CABI
      Talbots
      Kate Spade
      Brooks Brothers

Rather briefly I glanced at The Cosmetics Store. It looked promising with a surprisingly large selection of higher end cosmetics but I was tired and skipped it.

I was surprised by the stores I liked and those that bored me. Turned out I loved Kate Spade and Talbots. Both of theses stores had a excellent selection of merchandise deeply discounted. The styles looked fresh, plenty to choose, lots of sizes available.

Sadly, CABI felt tired perhaps because it was the end of the season. The store was a little too full and bit on the disorganized size. They had a BOGO sale going but it failed to tempt me. Most of the stock was size small, many of the colors were wrong for me, and it is hard to be tempted by sweaters and jackets when it's 95 deg out. 2 stars but could easily earn more with vigorous reorg and some fresh stock.

Both Polo Ralph Lauren and Brooks Brother were immaculately turned out but these were the leftovers in size XS and S. I usually like the prints from both companies but not today. I was shocked, how hard should it be to find a shirt? But it was hard. I was annoyed by the sales because the stores would offer better sales. Ok only twice a year but still. If this is typical then sadly, meh. Are they gonna focus on insanely preppy shopaholic teenagers to mop up their extras? 2 stars

Talbots blew me away. Meticulously organized by season, size and deeply discounted. Plenty of attractive prints, a clear sense of style, practical. Lots of choice. This is 5 star outlet shopping.

Kate Spade-full on 70% off the real thing. Some smaller discounts that clutter the way. Follow the nice sales associate to find out which of the purses that cluster so promisingly near the signs are the sale purses. I am already planning my next purse. 5 stars

You need some food and drink for a day trip. I didn't see anything open except Brewed. I know I'm being persnickety but I'm not tempted when I clearly have to drive back. I opted for the vending machines. They have no prices posted but they cost $2.50 for a 20 ounce bottle of Coke.

My husband and I have been here so many times on our way back from Harbin Hot Springs and love the visit. Usually, we go to Famous Footware because they have shoes to fit my hubby's foot (super, extra wide), but there are things for me too. This time, there were a lot of places that were new, some were closed, and the food court featured one restaurant that was open. The other one was closed, which is weird because people may have wanted their food. The bathroom is OK, not Hawaii clean, but cleaner than most malls. The problem is the gap between the doors. That's disturbing.

But because my husband was looking for pants we had a chance to visit stores that I usually don't go into and you can see my reviews on Yelp. But, now that I know my way around a bit, getting here will be a bit easier. I didn't realize how close they were to Oxbow and First street, but now that I know, I'll be back.

      IMHO

We stopped here to charge up our Tesla and found a huge bank of charging stations! While we waited, we shopped this small outlet mall.

We found bargains in The Gap and Old Navy. None of the other stores really interested us but we were here long enough to fully charge the car.

It has been a long time since I've been here. It use to be one of the few outlets around. One of the firsts. Now it is more outdated compared to the newer ones and pretty quiet, not busy but I dont mind that.

My family wanted to go to the Addidas store. They found some good finds and the customer service there was excellent! All of the staff were friendly and helpful and not pushy just friendly. Best service. 5 stars to them.
