      Great response time and service. Our refrigerator broke while we were on vacation. A National Appliance repairperson arrived within a couple of hours of our service request. Charlie immediately diagnosed the problem. He had the refrigerator up and running, ordered the repair parts to be sure the problem didn't repeat, and came back two days later to install. Pricing was reasonable and fair. It was great dealing with a knowledgeable professional.

      We had a washer leaking water.
      We called National Appliance and the tech who came had limited knowledge of this specific issue and spent over half an hour removing parts to the point where the control panel blow out (when my wife called me to check what was happening he was dealing with electrical elements).
      He left the house with the control panel damaged and a bill of $205 for his visit. The next day we got a message that this panel needed to be replaced at a cost of $407 yet not resolving the leak issue. The panel was operating when he start working on it but blown out when he left.
      I called the office but only got VM.
      We ordered a new $960 washer while spending $612 would not give us the warranty that the unit would be repair.

      We did use in the past National Appliance Service but after this experience we will definitely not get their service again.

      I called to get my GE dryer fixed and someone was able to come out the very next day. The technician was kind, informative, and very professional. Within the 30 minutes it was fixed, clean, and dried like new. I will call and recommend National Appliance for everything!

      Scheduled a refrigerator repair appointment by phone, the woman I spoke with said she could have a technician at my home between 1-4 PM same day. Great! No more frozen salad greens!

      I get home around noon, and wait. 4:30 rolls around, no repairman has shown up, no one has called to say they're running late or need to reschedule, and only a virtual answering service is picking up the phone.

      Inexcusable in this day and age of easy communication.

      Needed a part for our water heater that decided to break down on a Saturday morning. Their Yelp listing said they were open today (9am-1pm), we called to make sure. No answer and voicemail box was full, so we called again, pressed "0" and was connected to an answering service. They had no informtion nor a way to contact someone. All they said is they would submit a message with no guarantee someone would get back to us.

      So with that, we thought, ok let's drive by and take a chance as we needed to fix this issue. What a waste of time and gas! Their store hours confirmed they were OPEN as posted on the door, but it was locked up. Folks, beware.

      This is a scam business. Read the other reviews and sort "lowest rated" to see all the negative posts which I align with. They charged $175 fee for 15 minute initial visit, then they overcharged an additional costs for a 20 min refrigerator repair at $150 and for a part that costs $49 online brand new (but the service order says it cost $149 ($100 upcharge!!) + tax and + shipping. When I called customer service to complain about the other charges and request a fair amount, they were dismissive and condescending. I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone.

      They have outstanding customer Service. I have had them repair my dishwasher and Refrigerator on separate occasions. In both cases they saved me from having to buy new appliance and restored mine to go working order. They were able to fix both appliances with parts they had with on their truck on their first trip.

      I waited a few weeks to write this review to give the owner time to respond, and since he did not I have to share this extremely negative experience.
      This January my range's ignitors stopped working so I called them. They came by, diagnosed a need to replace the ignition module which they did. It didn't work every time, but the technician said it would be fine and left.
      After a month in which it got worse and eventually did not work at all, I called them back and specifically requested they replace the ignitor part, ideally with a more reliable one.
      Oddly, the head of the part's department called me back (really he did) and told me it was not the part that was wrong, which I challenged based on my experience. Anyway I waited for the technician to come by and when he did all he could do was adjust things, it was still the same as before.
      I was fed up and called A Plus Appliance Repair San Rafael, they came the next day, installed a new part and things have been working perfectly ever since (highly recommend them by the way and posting there next).

      Here's where I get to my super negative review: I called and asked to talk to the owner, shared my story, and requested a refund for the faulty part. He said he'd talk to his team and let me know. He did not call back. This is a business to avoid at all costs.

      National Appliance ordered a part to repair my microwave door. When the repairman arrived he couldn't figure out what to do so he called the manufacturer for directions. After a very long discussion he told me the door could not be fixed and I'd have to order a new one. A few days later I got a $200+ bill for a service call. Really? Couldn't they have made the call to the manufacturer before they sent out a repairman? Don't use these folks. Not competent or honorable.
