NT Appliance Repair

I used this service over this last weekend for a dishwasher repair, and I was provided excellent service! First they came out the next day (it was nice to get an appointment so soon), the two men spent about an hour and a half diagnosing the what the problem was, they were very thorough, as well as very professional. Unfortunately it was going to cost more to repair it than what it was worth, so we ended up having to go out and buy a new dishwasher. And true to the advertisement, I was only charged $39.00. I couldn't have asked for better service. Hopefully I won't need anymore appliance repairs, but if I did, this is who I would call! I was very pleased with the service I received.

Prompt, honest, and, excellent customer service.

Nate answered my service call on the same day. Arrived on time, ready to work. Explained every step as he went along. Repaired a (hard to get to) switch on my 15 yr. old built-in microwave. He let me know the service fees up front. The fee was rolled in to the parts and labor. Very reasonable.

I highly, highly, recommend Nate and his wife. Genuinely kind and knowledgeable people.

Nate came on very short notice to fix my dryer. He was very professional and polite.
He had the parts needed on hand (a belt) and was able to fix it the same day.
The location of my dryer made it difficult to do the repair, but he adapted to the situation and got the repair done.
I highly recommend NT Appliance repair.

Nate arrived the same day I called. He was prompt, friendly and diagnosed the issue for reasonable price. Will be using services should I need to in the future!

BUYER BEWARE: as of today's date, Nate (the technician and owner) has a delinquent license per the Department of Consumer Affairs, which means he is not supposed to be working in this field until he renews his license (license # 48508). Unfortunately, I found this out AFTER he had already scammed me.

Original Post: Our rental property had a icemaker/water dispenser with a very slight leak. Nate came out to check it out and told me he would have to order the part to repair it and that it would take 2 to 5 days to arrive. He quoted me the cost for repair as being $150, at least that is what I heard. He got the part in within two days and came back out to make the repairs. When it came time to pay, he told me it would be $350. When I was surprised by this, he told me it was $200 for the labor and $150 for the parts. He said I must have misheard his original quote. I'm not sure if I really misheard him or if he was just deliberately misleading, but I would suggest anyone who decides to use him definitely get the estimate in writing before hand. I never would have moved forward if I had known it was going to be $350 from the start.

UPDATE: A few days after Nate came out (and then harassed me after I posted the above review), I went back out to the property where Nate worked on our ice/water dispenser only to realize that he hadn't repaired anything at all. The leak was still EXACTLY the same as it had been before. I immediately reached out to Nate asking him to make good on his offer to come retrieve his parts and return my $350. However, he was completely nonresponsive. I then asked if he wasn't going to do that, is he going to make good on his both verbal and written 90 day parts and labor guarantee. Again, no response. Be very cautious of using this guy as he will charge you a higher rate than what he initially quoted, not be able to complete the repairs, refuse to honor his parts and labor guarantee, and then ghost you!

Don't believe this guy's responses, folks. He is not honest in any way. And I would never expect free labor. I simply expected an honest and complete estimate from the start.

I did a review of NT Appliance Repair a year or so ago. The service was great.

Well, I had another issue with our washer recently and, of course thought of using only NT.

Again, the service was high quality and high value, emphasis on 'Hi Value'!

I haven't much time to write this review, but I am regardless compelled to give credit where it is due. You can't go wrong with NT. That's it. (Perhaps read my prior review.)

Just had Nate here to repair my dryer. Highly skilled and knowledgeable regarding what needed to be repaired. His rates were definitively better than other companies that I contacted.

As he worked, he explained each step he was taking and discussing the reason for the parts failure. Additionally, he identified 2 items needing replacement and charged only the price for the parts, which was again very competitive with both on-line and in-store prices.

I would recommend NT Appliance Repair to anyone who asks for a quality repairman.

I had a wonderful experience with Nate and highly recommend NT Appliance Repair. His office scheduled a same day visit and he repaired a leak in my refrigerator taking time to walk me through the issue and ensure I understood the repairs he was making. While he was in my house Nate also offered a few other pointers on how to ensure the longevity of other household appliances. Hopefully I don't have many more broken appliances but when I do I know exactly who I'll call.

My dishwasher broke down unexpectedly. I called them, and the response was incredibly fast - they had a technician out to my house in no time!

The repairman, was not only professional and knowledgeable but also straightforward about the issue and the cost. I was pleasantly surprised to find that his prices were the lowest I had encountered, and there were no hidden fees or surprises.

The repair itself was done quickly and efficiently.

Sent a Yelp request at 9pm and he was out the next day by 2pm. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Diagnostic fee was $59 which is the cheapest in the area.
