Chris is very patience, attentive and knowledgeable in what he does. I couldn't be more pleased with his work.

I had a poor experience with this plumbing company. I called them to diagnose an issue with my Navien tankless water heater. They quoted me a range of $220 to $650 for the diagnostic, which seemed fair depending on the complexity or time spent. Unfortunately, that was where the fairness ended.

The plumber arrived and spent most of the diagnostic time on the phone with Navien's technical support--over an hour, as they don't deal directly with customers. To my shock, they charged me $620 for this! When I asked to speak with the owner, he simply said they quoted a range, and since the plumber spent 1 hour 30 mins, the charge would be $650, though he "generously" reduced it by $30. The plumber was at the house for 15 mins more since we were waiting to talk to the owner.

The owner justified the price by claiming it was for specialized Navien knowledge. But if they truly had specialized knowledge, why did they need to rely on tech support to diagnose the issue? I requested a cost breakdown, and they couldn't provide any details. Given that typical plumbers charge around $175-$225 per hour, this was ridiculously overpriced, especially since they didn't even fix the issue!

With their outrageous prices and complete lack of transparency, I absolutely would not recommend hiring them. Save your time and money, and look elsewhere.

This is our third service Oro Pro Plumbing. Today they replaced our water heater. Jorge as always was very friendly and professional. Oro Pro Plumbing is top-notch, quick to respond and most importantly transparent and honest about their pricing and what needs to be done.

I got their info from my last landlady who always vetted her service well. They haven't disappointed. They are quick to respond, available for appointments, on time, efficient and respectful of our space. They suggest ways to save money and always provide detailed estimates. I've had work done on two sinks and our washer and will continue to use them.

My hot water heater no longer working. Chris Bautista came out within a few hours, tried for a while to reignite it, including new ignition, but no deal (it was 9 years old and had not been serviced by previous owners). Chris put in a new one later that day, working well.

Beware their pricing. After paying the $240 first visit fee, I was given an estimate for $1200 to fix a leaky tub drain. I asked for them to break down the $1200 amount - how long to fix, how much for parts. The technician (very nice, BTW) said they don't do that. Got on the phone with the manager and he told me they "don't do business that way."

He promised to get back to me with at least a list of the parts they were going to put in. Never did. I've never worked with a contractor (electrical, plumbing, tiling. etc.) that didn't show me how much the materials cost (usually they give you the receipt). Makes me feel they have something to hide and are taking advantage.

Took 2 visits for completion of broken bathtub cartilage. 1st visit left me without a bathtub or shower with dripping water that cost me hundreds of gallons.

Was about 1 month before they were able to return and fix it for real. Blaming their supplier the unavailable part.
Had to show them I can get my hansgrohe cartridge with 1 inquiry before they responded.

Total cost $360 first visit
2nd visit $700

Part if I ordered online was $180
No shower available for 1 month

Chris Bautista from Oro Pro plumbing was a lifesaver! He came to our rescue the same day at 9:30 PM at night, a couple of hours after we phoned in our emergency (see photo attached).

Chris was very knowledgeable, attentive, and professional -- he took great care to contain what could've been a very messy situation and was gentle with our delicate homes (the building was constructed in the early 1900s). He was very helpful and efficient and answered all of my and my neighbors questions as well. Thank you, Chris, for all that you do!

My hot water was barely coming out in the upstairs bathroom. I had gotten two quotes previously, both wanted to cut through the shower wall and redo plumbing. A shower just put in 3 years previous. I didn't want to cut!

Oro Pro came by my home. They took out the valve. Removed a cartridge from the valve. Adjusted the hot limit stop so hot water could flow. Cleaned it out and put it back in. Hot water flowed. It was fixed. No cutting up my shower, no huge fee. They were honest, helpful and fair! I will use them again.

A few weeks ago, I tried unscrewing an old garden hose from my front yard faucet, only to have a pretty fast-flowing leak emerge from underground. California Water Service (CalWater), the regional utility, was able to quickly come over and temporarily bypass the water from the street meter to my house via the water hose faucet.

The CalWater guy told me I could keep the temporary hose for a couple weeks, and to take my time in finding a good plumber. I set about looking through both Thumbtack and Yelp to find several and get quotes. The worst quote was from a guy who showed up with his partner & told me it'd take at least a couple weeks to get the work done while he charged me $280/hr for the privilege. No thanks!

The best, obviously, was Oro Pro! Though they did charge me a nominal fee to come out and do the estimate, they also had the fairest price with the best plan and timetable. They had the ground dug up and the new pipe installed in LESS than two days! :-D What took the most time, however (& naturally!) was for the city/county to come out and approve the work. Immediately afterward, however, Oro Pro finished up quickly & professionally.

A *huge* shout-out to the entire crew for their immensely professional work and for keeping me updated in real-time on their progress!

I'm going to use Oro Pro from here on out for all my plumbing needs.
