I decided to write this review because I see a lot of negative reviews for this lot. My husband and I use the Hegenberger lot 95% of the time we fly. We have never had any problems. The staff and drivers are always pleasant. We have always had a spot to park. Granted, it is outside and our car gets dirty, but this is stated on the website. We have never had an issue with damage to our car. Yes, they have two different locations. You just need to be aware of which lot you are parked in. Duh. Reservations are so easy to do online and you just can't beat the price. We come from the East Bay and the location of this lot on Hegenberger is so easy to zip in and out of. The only draw back I have, but not worth deleting a star for, is sometimes the wait at the airport for pickup can be a little long. But, the reason I didn't delete a star is because of my impatience. It's at the end of our trip and we are just ready to get home. The longest we have had to wait is maybe 15 mins.

Vehicle Joyride... DO NOT PARK HERE!

Our car was driven 66 miles while it was left in the Park 'N' Travel's Hegenberger lot. We parked using the valet, because of space issues.

We know this because we have a photo- date and time stamped, (1/31/2020 - 22,531 miles) taken when we parked our car and handed the key to the attendant. We returned very late last night, 2/2/20, at 11:30pm and our mileage read 22,597- 66 miles more than when we dropped it off, three days prior.

To make matters worse, we still have not been refunded the money paid for our 3 days of parking. (We paid that evening because they were threatening to 'gate' us in if we did not pay.)

Their website claims safe parking with 24/7 surveillance and security. This is not true. I am sure that our situation is not an isolated incident.
We have filed a police report for misdemeanor theft and we have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

This review is based upon my visit there March 2016. I prepaid and booked online for the Hegenberger lot. Booking was easy and reasonable with an online coupon I applied. I printed out my pass, and kept it in my car for a 3 day stay. Travel on their shuttle to & from the Oak airport was efficient, and the driver was friendly and helped with my bag even thought it wasn't necessary. He called out all the stops clearly, and his driving was just fine.

After returning to Oak, I phoned their attendant as their ticket instructs you to do, and I got picked up within a reasonable time. I had no problems with my car. I see a lot of negative reviews here which tell me people expect white glove treatment for a check parking lot and shuttle. I had no problems with my prepaid receipt..

I saw the post about a broken window, and that the author blamed the parking company?? That hole was clearly from a stray bullet, not the fault of any parking lot company. I'd say file a insurance claim and be done with it.

People, read the literature you obtain prior to and after booking, and follow instructions. Read the literature to ensure your parking in the lot of your choosing. Rear, read, read! This isn't a limo service people, and it isn't Uber. We all have options, and I'm choosing this one again for my flight next week.

I found Park 'N Travel extremely convenient if you follow the instructions given by the company and the other Yelp reviews.

Reserve and pay online! It was easy. We paid $8/day for a holiday weekend.

When we got to the lot, a van was able to take us immediately to the airport. The lot is in a great location as it was maybe a 5 minute ride to the airport. On your return, call them after you've picked up your bags from baggage claim. Give them your ticket/claim number so that they can grab your keys and note what space your car is parked in. We waited less than 10 minutes for the van to pick us up on the way back.

They have different vans for each lot they own, so you need to know what lot you parked in (ex. Doolittle lot, Hegenberger lot, etc.). This is critical.

The van then dropped us off at our car, and we simply showed the driver our receipt showing that we paid online. If you don't have your receipt, I believe they make you pay again, so make sure you bring your receipt.

I have traveled a lot in the past year and have always used this place to leave my car. I can make reservations online, I rarely have to wait long for a shuttle at the airport on my return and no damage has been done to my vehicle. I usually seem to work it out that I can leave my car and take my keys with me. That way I know my car is exactly where I left it and locked. The drivers are always helpful and pleasant, and patient when I am escorting my 87-year-old grandmother on family trips. No complaints here. Just be sure to make sure you pick up the right shuttle. The Doolittle or Hegenberger lot. I accidentally took the Hegenberger shuttle but the driver took me to the Doolittle lot anyways instead of taking me back to the airport to pick up the right shuttle. What a relief.
