Peninsula Tree Care

A huge THANK YOU and lots of kudos to the Peninsula Tree Care crew who arrived at our house on time this morning, and cut down our huge, old, rotting tree in the backyard! They were a happy bunch who kept in communications with me throughout their service. They cleaned up all of the cut down tree, and then used their blower for a finishing touch! I am so impressed and thankful for this awesome tree service, and especially for this morning's crew! Thank you Cody Kleinheinz for bringing your fine crew to our home for such an excellent job!

I once made the mistake of hiring Davey Trees to do some work and it was an awful experience. By contrast, I'd give Bill and his crew more than 5 stars for the excellent work they did in removing a tall Eucalyptus tree and trimming out some other huge tree branches. They had a whole team out there and moved quickly, effciently, and, above all, safely to get the job done. Very pleased and highly recommend.

My seller clients and I contacted Bill to remove several very large, some dead, trees on their property in Belmont. We had the old diseased trees removed since the property is located in a high fire hazard zone and the limbs could have fallen on the home. Bill provided a very fair estimate and was also helpful in arranging removal of other old auxiliary structures from the property. He's super responsive and also personable, which we appreciated since it's stressful enough getting a home ready for sale.

Peninsula also took great care to make sure that there was no damage to the home, fence nor yard during the removal of 6 large trees. Great work!

Our neighbor hired Peninsula Tree Care to trim some large limbs that were leaning on the Cable lines. These trees leaned over our yard. They did a very good job and the clean-up was excellent. The lawn had no leaves or debris on it when they were finished. We will definitely hire them the next time we need trees trimmed.

Bill and crew at Peninsula Tree Care are fabulous! We've used them for many years and they never disappoint doing as much or as little as you like, don't over cut, are fast, on time, and clean up beautifully. Bill is one of the nicest guys ever, with a local business that deserves a shout out. Bill...so sorry it took us this long to post, but the years with you have been great. Warning, call Bill before PG&E takes it upon themselves to do the work for you. That was not a good experience :)

I'm lazy to write any reviews. But for the first time, I wanna recommend Peninsula Tree Care and Bill.
On Christmas Day, a very big and tall tree beside the fence in the backyard fell down by the heavy rain and wind. Since it was very close to the fence, so it broke the fence and fell to my neighbors' landscape.
My neighbor recommend Bill to me. I contacted with him immediately. And he responded very soon. He give me a very reasonable price. Since it's a hard project, they finished for two days. And clean up the mess in my neighbor's landscape.
I will recommend Bill to my friends if they need tree service in the future.

Highly recommend Bill and his team for tree removal. I've had a pleasant experience both times using them knowing they are always on time (mostly early to prepare), work fast, and Bill is very knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable as well! Call them!

We had an urgent removal of a 60-year-old storm-damaged tree and Peninsula rescues the situation. Terrific communication and advice and super-fast service (they somehow managed to squeeze us in despite all their other work). I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Got quotes from 4-5 other vendors for a large tree removal project. They came in the most knowledgeable and fairly priced. They were also fine with the height of the trees and sloping lot (which maybe half the vendors were more iffy about). Bill knew a lot about trees and also advised us to keep some prior to a landscaping project in the front of the house and admired the trees. I appreciated that as most tree removal companies rather just have more business. He had his guys grind up the wood into mulch and put it in the side yard area we could use it for landscaping later on. We had him trim some of our trees and he provided great advice on crowing and not over trimming certain areas. After we proactively had a fire risk assessment we had him come back again to clean up the area and trim trees. We have done business with him a few times, so have our local friends and neighbors on the street. Highly recommended and happy to answer any questions!

Terrible service all around! First of all they don't have a concept of time. Had them over to cut some tree down and they push the appointment twice and the third time they showed up at 8 am when they said the appointment window is between 9-11am. And they cut down the the wrong tree!!!!! I guess they offer a cut one get one free kinda deal! We want them to cut down a old juniper, and they knocked down a newly planted fruit cocktail tree right next. At least they didn't charge extra because it was a quickie, Great!!!!!
