Performance Car Stereo

I bought an older camper with a reasonably good stereo that was installed in a horrific way. I drove down to Performance Car Stereo to show them and they thought they could fix. They immediately booked me in and modified the installation. I also asked them to have a quick look to see if there were improvements possible within a given (adequate) budget. No upsell, they fixed what I had, and suggested I keep the system as-is as it was performing well.

Everything was great- staff, efficiency and the cost. The bill was considerably less than I thought it would be. Strongly recommend. I will be back.

Went in to get a sub installed, they quoted me $170 and I left with a $400+ bill... come here if you want to be ripped off

Brought my Mercedes CL550 to these guys. Had heard some good things, but wow what a mistake. I asked to have a dashcam front and rear and re and re stock subwoofer with another oem sub. Then asked them to if I could get a sub box installed them JP tried to feed me some BS that I'd have to spend upwards of $4000 because of something to do with my car. I spoke with a friend that had 2014 A63 he told me I was just getting ripped off. Red flags should have gone up when they knew nothing about my car. They kept it an extra day to figure things out. After that a friend was sitting in back seat and he found some retaining nuts or something for seats on floor. Cost $800-$900. Do yourself a favor stay away from this place if you love your car.

I had a Drone Mobile (connects to your remote starter) 2G cellular module installed I my vehicle in Alberta about 5 years ago. Recently I got an email from the manufacturer informing me that the 2G networks are being phased out ... they ended up sending me a replacement unit. The shop that installed the original unit was too far away so I found these guys via good "word of mouth". They quoted me a very reasonable price to do the work to instal the replacement unit. Unfortunately, they were unable to test the online connection to the unit from their dealer portal since it was not a new install. We found out when I came to pick up the vehicle that my app would see the vehicle and find it on GPS map but not do anything else. We rescheduled for trouble shooting .. I logged into an installer's phone with my account so they can trouble shoot ... then I went for breakfast. When I can back they had determined the replacement module was defective (they tried firmware update etc) so they just gave me one they had in inventory and they would recover their cost from manufacturer... I emailed manufacturer to have them link the new module to my paid subscription plan and all is great !
