      In my opinion there is no better appliance service company in the Sacramento area for Miele appliances. The name of the company says it all.

      Ian came to address my concerns on my Miele appliances and assured me, after changing some settings, I did not need to spend $$ on any parts or service. No upselling of needless work or repairs. AND he fixed my SubZero freezer drawer that I had been having problems with. Will definitely use Prestige again and absolutely recommend Ian! Thank you!

      Reached out to Prestige regarding a repair of a small outdoor fridge . The outgoing message asks that you text your issue/ repair as they don't check their answering machine. Ok no problem....

      Fast forward . Ian responds over text and I briefly describe the issue. He subsequently quotes me the price for the repair and wants to know if I want to bring the fridge to EDH. Huh ????? When I inquire how he estimated the fridge without ever looking at it, he responds abruptly with a statement about being in business for years... Blah blah blah.

      He then goes dark on me after I sent him additional friendly texts until he finally gives me an earful.

      Read it for yourself folks and you decide if you want to deal with him or a company like that ...

      I called Prestige Appliance on Friday to get my dryer repaired. No one answered the phone and you couldn't leave a message. It said to send a text, which I did. Never responded. So then on Monday, I called again and still no answer and told to send a text again, which I did. Never ever responded to this text either. I originally called this business because of good reviews, but I totally disagree. This sure isn't the way to run a business. Would never try to use them again.

      We have used Prestige several times, particularly for our Miele coffee machine. Ian is honest and can always fix the problem for a fair price. Trustworthy and dependable service.

      They are greatest since French toast. My old Roper washing machine stopped draining (almost 20 years old) all of a sudden. I called them they came out within 2 days and found out it was the pump. There was dog hair
      in it plus a crack. He got it to work for me on a temporary basis only to order
      a new one the next week He came back the following week installed the new
      one and also cleaned the lint from the back of the dryer that goes into wall
      area, not sure what that is called. But now my clothes dry much faster. I
      highly recommend this company.

      I called prestige to check on my washing machine that was not working correctly.

      Prestige got back to me quickly and came out to the house. They were easy to communicate with and text when they were on their way.

      Turns out it was a simple fix that he was able to complete within the initial visit, and instead of trying to sell me on any unnecessary items he fixed what was wrong and did a thorough test of the rest.

      Pretty bad experience with these guys. Asked them out to troubleshoot an oven problem. Here's the story...

      Good - The gentleman came at the appointed time on Wednesday.

      Bad - My wife said he spent about 15 minutes total. Most of the time talking to her about symptoms. He turned on the oven and felt to see if the heating elements were working. They were. He concluded that we had a bad temperature sensor. He said he would order one and call to set an installation appointment on Monday. Estimated cost: $240 parts & labor.

      When my wife told me this, I was surprised he had not checked our temp. sensor to be sure it was bad. (It's a simple resistance test. Unplug the sensor, test the resistance with an Ohmmeter. Simple.) So I called them to see if I could discuss his reasoning. The nice lady said he would call me to discuss as soon as possible. He never did (or if he did, no message).

      So I checked the sensor myself. It's perfect. Took me a total of 5 minutes. Looked up the cost of a new one just for grins. Found one for $25 delivered. Pretty nice mark-up on that estimate mate!

      Anyway, Lake Appliance has my business now.

      My Bosch water was broken and after researching for new washers, we decided to get ours fixed as I love my Bosch. Ian came out and after diagnosing it, he concluded we needed a new pump. Pump came in a couple of days and Ian came to replaced my old pump for the new one. The repair went great and we are so happy for Prestige customer service and their honesty. I am so thankful that Ian got my washer fixed before Thanksgiving. I highly recommend Prestige to anyone who needs their appliances fix.

      I'm afraid this company did not live up to these reviews. I was given a service call fee for my refrigerator & then when Ian showed up I was told that it was $100 more flat fee. He seems to know his job, but apparently the right hand did not communicate with the left hand. He went on to make reference to snobbery wine( you have to have been present to understand) which was not in good form. He needs to stay to what's he's present to do without side chatter. Definitely won't rehire or recommend.
