Rack N Road - Sacramento

These guys are great. They know their products and stand by them. I purchased a roof rack with a kayak fitting. I have a new car that is not listed in any rack company systems. Rack N Road did a good job of finding the "right" system. After using it and finding it was not perfect, they replaced the towers. This is a place with integrity and trust, and the owner stands behind it. I sincerely appreciate the client service. Thanks guys!

Very knowledgeable staff. Quality of install was fast, efficient and quick! Good sturdy products. Life time warranty. Only reason I'm docking a star, is the installation fee was a bit steep for the amount of time they spent on my rack installation. Would I recommend Rack n Road? yes.

I just today, May 17, had a car hitch installed on my 2016 Prius at Rack N Road for a Kuat Sherpa 2.0 bike hitch rack I also bought there. I cannot praise this business too highly. I visited the showroom on Sunday afternoon, May 12, and Michael was amazingly helpful in allowing me to learn my options, and he also offered to match a discount on the bike rack offered by the REI store about two miles away. Michael ordered the hitch that day, it arrived there yesterday, and they installed it this morning in about an hour. Another guy there (I forget his name now, but he also was great) showed me exactly how to use the bike rack and he answered every one of my questions completely. I can't remember when I had such a positive experience buying something, and I'm nearly 64 years old. So, thank you, Rack N Road!

The guys at R and R are patient and great at explaining what I needed for my needs. They were super accommodating with the appointment and fast at the installation. They even helped me with the one lock system.

I needed a racking system for a new kayak that would fit on my Land Cruiser and to enable me to load the kayak by myself (small female person). Damion was great in helping me on the phone and in person to select a pair of Yakima crossbars and a Thule Hullavator. Everything was installed on a Saturday in about an hour and a half. What a great experience.

I needed a storage rack installed for our minivan and I called RackNRoad, made an appointment with Brian. I never had a storage rack on my cars so I had questions. Brian was very helpful when I arrived and within an hour, new roof rack tracks installed and the storage container (Force XT XXL) was installed. Excellent customer service and highly recommended. Really great service and products at Rack N Road in Arden. I ended up getting my RockyMounts Guiderail hitch bike rack from here, which has been excellent so far. They were able to assemble it and help me attach it to my car. Aside from RockyMounts, they also carry Kuat bike racks and some other brands I don't recall. I was most recently there in need of help for troubleshooting a hitch installation and I have to give a huge shoutout to Damion and Cameron for helping me out. These guys in particular are awesome and I wouldn't hesitate to visit this Rack N Road for all your hitch/rack needs.

Wow! Very great service. I came into the shop and John (the owner) greeted me. I had a complex setup where I had to fit/mount the cargo box and starlink all on top of my Model Y roof rack. He drew a diagram of all the different parts that we needed, and helped me install. Within 3 hours I had everything installed! Super professional, cared about customer, etc. Thank you!
