over the years i have bought several appliances, and also had repairman come to the house at times. they have always been helpful and pleasant. today was another wonderful experience. my neighbor and i both had problems with appliances, two (of 4) were dead, and we had a filthy oven/stove, which still works, and a wash machine, also functional.

First of all if you are thinking about to hiring this repair company PLEASE don't do it
(Do yourself a favor)
They charged me 250 dollar (yeah I could buy another one but in the beginning I didn't know) to fix my washer machine and never fixed it
After a lot of insistence, he sent one of your employees in which he mocked in Spanish that this machine could not be repaired and would have to buy another one
In other words, that's means they knew from the beginning that the machine couldn't be fixed and charged me anyway,after 3 been trying to deceive me by saying that you can fix it after 3 failed attempts.
After all this they stopped answer my calls , assuming we were going to give up.
It's been almost two months and we had to buy another machine after all the deception
No surprises after seeing the rating and testimonials on Yelp
We even spoke to one of your past clients who was also affected by lack of professionalism and rude way of treating clients.
With all this we have already spoken to an officer (police) and we have all the necessary documents and directions open our case.
If you have been pass for something similar don't be afraid and get information necessary and go to your rights
He stolen my money never fix the machine and have been rude with us all the time
It's nightmare

I called to confirm if they can come on Monday and they gave me an attitude asking if I call to schedule an appointment or just lecture him. He also told me to call another appliance to get help with my washer because their more younger then him

Rancho Grande is one of the few merchants to buy and sell used appliances in San Francisco. They have a decent selections of washers/dryers, stoves, fridges. They even offer 6 months warranty with no extra charge.
However, I found it difficult to communicate and get a hold of them. I had to make many attempts to call until someone got back to me. Then it was the waiting time to get the unit refurbished, they kept postponing my deadline 3x. Finally after 4 weeks, the unit was installed. But it wasn't over, after a few loads of laundries, the washer/dryer didn't work as promised. Again, I couldn't get a hold of them to come inspect the problem. So the 6 month warranty was worthless.

Rancho Grande is a special sort of a place. They fix and refurbish appliances, something we (the world) really need more of. You will need patience to work with a place like this, but I can say they ultimately saved me several hundred dollars, and took care of my washer and dryer needs, and I felt it was all really worth it in the end. Don't use if you're the impatient type, but I highly recommend their work based on my experience.

I had a fantastic experience today with Jorge from Rancho Grande coming to evaluate my broken washing machine (at no cost!) and then repairing it with parts he already had in his truck. Fast, thorough and for a quite reasonable fee. He even found another problem that, unbeknownst to me, was reducing the efficiency of the agitator. He replaced the worn small plastic part with one he also already had in his truck... **at no cost**
I had used Ranch Grande 36 years ago had had a similarly great experience. I've passed their corner store regularly over the decades and every time was heartened to see a great neighborhood business still in operation. Jorge showed up to service my refrigerator in the garage and when he saw me (I'm Asian-American) his face dropped and he looked the other way.
After he started looking at the refrigerator, I asked if I should go upstairs and wait for him to call me. He said disrespectfully said to me "it's up to you". I think there is another, nicer way to say this, especially given that Rancho Grande is a service company and he is physically in my house. I did come down to the garage again to ask whether the motor needs to be replaced (he mentioned it earlier) and he waited 30 seconds even to acknowledge that I said anything to him.
Not recommended. Racist again Asians.

It turns out the size of my current washer/dryer is no longer made and nothing new fit my washer/dryer space. Thankfully, I found Rancho Grande and was able to get a refurbished dryer in my tight space. They were very helpful!!
