I AM IN LOVE WITH RED FISH BLUE FISH!!!

Before I get started, I only have one complaint....... i wish i lived closer to this place! I dream about the day red fish blue fish moves to Virginia. Sad to say its a dream and not reality =(.

Anyways, the food omgosh was so fresh, flavorful, delectable all of those terms you use to describe amazing food. I found this place on yelp and I saw a special on food network.

I was visiting Victoria with my family and we loved this place so much that we ate here twice in three days!

I got to try the spicy pacific, oyster, shrimp, salmon tacones as well as the bbq salmon sandwich and the soup. All were excellent choices! They get all of their fresh seafood from different parts of the island.

MY OH MY. First bite you get the combination of slaw and fish complemented by the sauce thats added and if you add the spicy sauce it gives you a nice kick to give you a whirlwind of flavors in your mouth. AHHHH I'm getting hungry thinking about it now!

The place itself is basically a window down by the water. So there is a nice view for you to enjoy while you are eating. Not your typical seafood place. There are stools and mini tables for you to use. Another plus is they are recycle friendly! The people working here were pretty friendly and the food was made pretty quickly even though the lines were pretty long. Prices were really good. I spent about 10 dollars each time and for awesome seafood that comes in pretty generous proportions, it's definitely a steal!

This is definitely MY FAVORITE seafood place and all the other seafood restaurants could learn from RFBF.

One day Red Fish Blue Fish, I shall return, but until then keep up the good work!

The food was hot, fresh, and reasonably priced for the area. We also liked the selection. There was variety but not overwhelming.

Delicious food. The long, long line was a deterrent but it's so good it makes it easier to wait. They could definitely use more eating areas or tables for families eat together. Located right on the dock so the view of the inner harbour is right in front of you. A great experience if you want top grade fish and chips. The coleslaw mix wasn't really my thing but wow that fish....

We had to return to RFBF on our visit to Victoria and the food is just as good as I remembered! We got even MORE of their fish and chips this time trying their cod and halibut each in an order of two pieces with chips and it was amazing. The batter is so light and the fish is not overcooked at all. The portions are generous and the fries were crispy and great with some ketchup.

Of course we got the Tacone which had plenty of ahi tuna inside and because their fish is so good, we also got the grilled ahi tuna on salad. We were shocked at how large the portions were and the slightly seared cookery of the tuna was done expertly.

It is located near the harbour and only outdoor seating is available. There is usually a line but the staff there move quick and are so nice!

Overall, a must visit when in Victoria!

If you're looking for some of the best fish and chips near the water, this spot is a must-visit. The fish is perfectly fried--crispy on the outside, tender and soft on the inside, with a golden-brown crust not too thick and not too thin. It's paired with thin-cut fries that are just as satisfying. The soup was also a standout, a bit spicy, rich and flavorful, adding to an already amazing meal.

The location is unbeatable, with stunning views of the water next to the seaplane airport that make the wait more bearable, though the line can get pretty long--we waited about 30 minutes. It's a bit on the pricey side, but the quality of the food makes it worth every penny.

One downside: they did charge nearly $2 for an extra side of tartar sauce, which feels a bit steep. Despite that, the overall experience was fantastic, and I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the area.

This is a must do lunch/dinner spot in Victoria! It's a very casual spot with no table service.

The line will likely be long but don't let that put you off. Everybody is here for good eats and the line moves pretty quickly. You order and pay in one line and wait for your food in another area.

We had a little bit of everything:

      Halibut with fish and chips
      Pacific codfish and chips
      Fried dill pickles
      Albacore Tuna tacone
      Salmon tacone
      Clam chowder

Everything was superb! Definitely get an assortment of everything. The halibut pieces were bigger than the cod. It was also more flavorful, as in the cod was milder tasting than the halibut.

We'll definitely come back the next time we're in Victoria!

My first impression of Red Fish Blue Fish was the long line, but it's also a good sign as the food must be good. Fortunately the line was long but it moved pretty quickly.

From seeing other people's food, everything looked so good. When we finally got ours, I can confirm the food does not only look amazing, it tasted great too!

We ordered the Cod Tacos, Halibut fish n chips, Ahi Tuna salad and a chowder bowl. Everything was in big portion and tasted so good, but my favorites were the Halibut fish n chips and the Ahi Tuna salad. The Halibut was so tender and the Ahi Tuna salad tasted so refreshing in contrast to the fried food.

We sat at under the covered deck area and really enjoyed watching boats coming and going while we enjoyed our lunch. Overall, we really loved this little stand and would like to come back whenever we visit Victoria again.

I only gave it 3 stars cause the jerk fish poutine was less to be desired. It was clumpy, the flavor was decent but I was not impressed with my first time having poutine! I'll try again at another restaurant. Now my fish and chips was amazing! I enjoyed them in the comfort of my hotel cause it was a little cool & rainy outside and they only have a small space with covered seating and it was full. Service was ok cause they was busy and about to close, but I would defiantly go back for the fish and chips!

I will be dreaming about this meal. Hands down the BEST fish & chips I've had in my life... like I cannot express how good it was. The wait was a bit long between standing in line & then waiting for your food to come out. I particularly had to wait extra longer cause someone else accidentally took my order, but it was obviously worth it and I'd do it again. The servers were also super apologetic which was kind. It's located right on the pier so you can eat while looking out on the water, very blissful vibes. I'd come back to Victoria just for this place.

Some of the best seafood tacos I've had in my entire life. Eating by the harbor was a serene experience (although I recommend bringing a jacket). I got to sample my party's fish and chips and chowder, which were also phenomenal.

Came here for lunch and since it was raining, wasn't too busy. Got the halibut and it was more food than I was expecting. Fish was nice and quality of the food was great. Fries were also decent and were crispy. Coleslaw isn't really my thing so I tried it and it seemed fine but didn't really enjoy it that much.
