We are happy with the outcome of our front yard project. Carlos and Jerry, together gave us a beautiful, low maintenance landscape that we can admire everyday. Jerry worked very hard everyday and Carlos made sure we were happy with our choices of plants. Carlos came back to replace some of the plants that didn't do well.

We are very happy with the outcome of our front yard and continue to have neighbors and passerbys stop to admire his creation. Although I had the idea pretty well planned I had no way to execute it or make it work professionally. Carlos did.

It would have been beneficial for me to have seen a design of his intended work before he started to calm my nerves since I wasn't sure if he knew exactly what my mind was envisioning. Being a visual person I wanted to see colors, elevations, placement, etc.

However, in the end, after delays due to holidays & weather, he completed something we will be enjoying for years to come.

UPDATE JULY 2017 Love love love my yard, as it is filling out it is beautiful and each day a new surprise awaits me. It's been 8 months now and it is only getting better each day. Call him!

Reyscapes did a fantastic job on the landscaping of the entire front of my house. I needed the driveway repaved, the walkway changed, a new retaining wall, front porch redone and all the plants and lawn replaced. I also had the challenge of having the entire front on a hill. Carlos and his team changed the entire look of the front of my house. My neighbors have told me that they feel like they are looking at a resort when they see my place.
Reyscapes (Carlos and his team) were extremely professional, performed all the work on schedule, very trustworthy and very talented. I very highly recommend Reyscapes.

Reyscapes did an incredible job landscaping the front of my house. Carlos took my ideas and created a look that I am completely happy with. The front yard was a mess of red and white rock, no plants, and a ton of concrete. He built a tiered retaining wall around the area, added large boulders, river rock, and drought tolerant plants. His team also redesigned a planting area along the driveway by widening the driveway and adding a concrete curb. A huge improvement over the original design; no loner stepping in the dirt to get out of the car!

My original plan was to only tackle the front yard, but after seeing the excellent work completed on my front yard, and my neighbors front/back yard (Yes...he completed both projects at the same time) he's now started working on a new design for my backyard.

Carlos and his team were extremely professional, performed all the work to my satisfaction, honest, detail oriented, and very talented. I highly recommend Reyscapes.

Jose and Carlos did a beautiful job on my front yard! My yard was looking pretty sad due to the drought and age. Jose put in a new driveway of beautiful pavers and a retaining wall of moss rock. New lawn, trees, plants and sprinklers and lights rounded out the job. I love my new garden, it makes me happy every time I look at it! Reyscapes does outstanding work. I highly recommend them.

Carlos and his team did our front yard. Part of the work was to dig out plants, clean up the place from weeds, and put plants back in. They raked the place, put on wire that gophers couldn't get through, then put on landscaping fabric, and then Carlos' team made holes in the fabric+wire to plant the plants and finally finished it off with mulch. It looked great. We loved Carlos' father who has a great aesthetic sense of where plants go etc. We were happy but also naïve.

The main flaw here was making holes in the avery wire and putting plants in. In less than a couple of weeks the gophers underground got right to the roots of plants and started building mounds all over. Me and husband tries all tricks in the book/we could find online but we were losing plants and the mounds were messy.
I called up Carlos to let him know. He asked to try a few things which we already had and then said he could pull out plants again, and layer the holes with the wire and put plants back in for more money, ofcourse.
Well, if he had said that the first time, we'd have been happy to go ahead. He had to have known better than to make holes in the avery wire. It defeated the whole purpose.
It would have been a clean job and we would have been happy.

Needless to say me and husband have done this ourselves and we've bought plants to replace the ones we lost, more wire, tools etc. It's been a lot of work, money and frustration spent over what we shouldn't have had to go through had Reyscapes done a good job in the first place. We also think we were naïve and had no clue what gophers/moles were capable of, but you live and learn.

My recommendation is that if you know exactly what you want done and how you want it, Reyscapes may be a decent choice but if you let them take crucial decisions, it may not work out well.

Carlos and his team created a miracle out of our overgrown yard. They listened to our ideas and looked at our plans and ended up going above and beyond to make our front and backyard even more beautiful than we imagined it could be. They came up ideas we hadn't thought of, while respecting our vision of a rustic, Irish look. They are honest and stayed on budget and even added a few extra things , like a proper area where my old cat had been buried for years and turned it into a lovely memorial spot for her without disturbing her. They are honest and professional with an exquisite attention to quality and detail . We highly recommend Reyscapes. We now have the storybook celtic cottage of our dreams !
